The best restaurants serving Indian food in Harpur Bedford East of England

Absolutely amazing! I’m afraid to write a good review because it’ll then just be harder to get a table lol. First time trying it and we will definitely be coming back… tomorrow haha

Ordered directly via their website and received a confirmation email. When I rang them 30 mins after delivery was due they told me they hadn't had any orders. I told them it would be worth checking their website as it must not be working. They repeated again that they hadn't had any orders, nothing was offered to solve my issue, and then they hung up on me.

What another fantastic night at Indiya. Having dined here time and time again over the many years, not only does the food consistently hits the mark, but the friendliness and professionalism of the staff never waivers. For the first time I can remember Lalu, the owner, was off on a break, yet Robbie/ Bobbie stepped in and you wouldn’t know the difference, the restaurant ran as smooth as a well oiled machine. We had many dishes between the four of us but I would highly recommend the Indiyan Sizzler which comes with lamb and chicken served sizzling but they are more than happy to adapt it as you wish, my wife wanting just chicken and I wanting prawn added to it. Another wonderful evening. Looking forward already to our next visit. Enjoy

1st visit to Indian summer the decor is clean fresh, nice dining booths and dining tables. The staff all smiles and friendly greeting even a bit of banter on the football game tomorrow. Drinks arrived pretty quick and we ordered poppadoms whilst deciding what to order for the mains. Well I must say the food was excellent everyone commented on how nice the food was as we all ordered differently from each other. If I visit Bedford again I will dine at Indian summer for sure.

Buena comida. Originalmente teníamos la intención de comer como lo hicimos hace un par de meses, pero pensamos que habíamos dejado demasiado tarde para reservar así que ordenó una comida para llevar. De hecho, había mesas disponibles, así que cualquiera que lea esto, trate de reservar no importa lo tarde que crea que lo ha dejado. La otra cara es que las comidas para llevar también son sobresalientes y no tuve que caminar mucho para llegar al sofá después! Hemos tenido dos cenas y dos comidas para llevar en los últimos meses, Royal Gurkha nunca pierde un ritmo. I dined here with my friends for a meal, and the service was excellent! The manager, waitresses as well as other staff were very friendly. The music and vibe was really delightful, very relaxing. I have been to many Indian restaurants and might I say Alamin Tandori was by far my favourite. The food was really flavourful. It was finger-licking good! As well as the desserts. The prices are very reasonable as well! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Very nice Indian restaurant good food and service and good prices

My favourite curry venue for over 50 years. Simply irreplaceable. It was the scene and setting for so many life events which were made, measured out and captured here. It's like losing an old friend. I wish you all well.

Very different from the normal Indian offering. Great food

Chicken tika and the somasa was soo good. Got some curry’s too which was also extremely tasty

27 . 12 . 24 . 8 pm Rey Kebab - Necesita una renovación completa. También una revisión urgente de sus prácticas de higiene alimentaria. Esto solía servir el mejor kebab de donner envuelto en Nan en Bedford. Salsas de menta y chile servidas en pequeños recipientes separados, encantador. Ahora es lo peor, el mostrador de ensaladas se ve desagradable y nada fresco. Vi a la señora cortar pepino fresco y reponer su recipiente. El pepino estaba amarillo en el medio, lo que es una señal de que está demasiado maduro y debe ser depositado. Lechuga iceberg nadando en el agua, los tomates también, no frescos, probablemente han estado allí todo el día. Carne de kebab siendo tallada y bastante caída al suelo. Me negué a que la ensalada terminara con carne de donador salada seca en una envoltura de tortilla, simplemente terrible. El lado de los clientes del mostrador tampoco es genial. Apariencia y servicio esbeltos. KK necesita rescatar a imo, desesperadamente.

Food is average. Service is good and staff are friendly however the food is a massive let down!! Won't be back
