Loved it. Sometimes I think we order a lot so an extra poppadoms would be nice but honestly, the food and service is amazing. Highly recommend!

Quality of the food was not up to the heights of previous orders. The order was 20 minutes late. I hope my next order from Malabar will be much improved.

Normally excellent but really poor tonight. Arrived late and was cold and the order was not completely fulfilled. Phoned to log a complaint and the restaurant were completely disinterested and unapologetic.

Great delivery, driver came right to the door. Food was delicious - lamb tikka jalfrezi had plenty of lamb, peppers, chillies, onions - perfect balance of ingredients. Not sure if bhuna was chicken tikka as stated, but the chicken was still nice and there was plenty of it. King prawns were lovely and plenty of them. Great portions of meat, thank you for a tasty meal.

not sure why they gave the original time of 18 15 to 18 35, obviously not attainable. A new time was set 18 45 to 19 10 this was also not met. Curry was great though, a further more realistic time would have been nice

There are no good curry takeaways in Bedford and this is OK... Not amazing. Quality has definitely changed but it's not terrible, as others are. Also someone mentioned about onion bhajis and ours, which we purchased, also contained 3. We never receive them complimentary and didn't know other people did....

We’ve been ordering from Malabar for some time now and honestly love it so much. It’s now our comfort food and go to place. We absolutely love the chilli chicken fry mix starter and the butter mossala chicken. Also the fresh naans are a big must! We probably order from Malabar atleast twice a month, that’s how good it is. Definitely try it out, you’re missing out otherwise!!

First time ordering and even though it was 40 mins late (1 hour 40 total waiting time) the food was still piping hot and delicious. The app told us it was delayed too, so at least we knew. The driver was apologetic and gave us a free bottle of coke, plus Saturday night too, so it was all fine. Got the chicken korma and chicken Malaysia. Both tasted quite similar to be fair, both coconutty, but both tasted so good. Free onion bhajis too, for spending a certain amount, 4 of them, so great portion. Would order again!

So disappointed. We order pretty much every week and delivery is always reliable. Tonight: almost an hour late. We had ordered for a family member who had to leave without eating their food, because it was so late.

Food was good, tasted and smelled amazing. Portion sizes were very good and good amount of meat in curry dishes, most places are quite stingy on that. have ordered from there twice and worth the price.

The order was slightly late, but I was informed in a timely manner, so no real problem there. The delivery guy was very apologetic. Now, the food was piping hot, absolutely delicious, well worth the wait, and represented good value for money. I will order again. 10 out of 10

Lovely mains - delicious sauce and generous portions. The rice was perfect and the naan was lovely. But the sag paneer side was a weird disappointment - dry and unseasoned and looked and tasted like it had been microwaved a couple of times. We will order again because the rest was very good. Shame about the paneer.

Foods were good and tasty 😋 our first time order

I have ordered from here on a number of occasions and never had a problem with the food or service, however, tonight was a different story! I had items missing from my order, when I contacted the restaurant I was rudely told that I was lying or that the driver must’ve removed items! I asked if they could please send me out the missing items or refund them when again I was told no and to contact Uber eats as it isn’t their problem even though the food is from their restaurant. The food that was received was extremely greasy and salty, which shows there’s been a big error in their kitchens. In future I advise not to be so rude to your customers and accuse them of lying as I will no longer return.

Food arrived on time (I preordered before they were even open) Food arrived boiling hot and tasty as ever. Items were correct bar 1 thing which they corrected immediately and was delivered very quickly after I called in and they gave me an extra 2 poppadoms. Will always get my balti from malabar. I have tried many restaurants locally but Malabar are above and beyond. Delivery is on time and food is always hot! More importantly the flavour of the food is incredible! You will not be disappointed! If just eat offered a 10 star rate I’d give Malabar 11! 💫

Containers are ALWAYS leaking and stain everything! There are no good curry houses in Bedford but malabar used to be the most edible. Quality has gone down hill over the years and rarely use now. How they improve

My mother ordered from here. She very clearly asked for basmati rice and the genius on the other end could not grasp what that meant, instead he spoke vaguely about 'mushroom rice'. After much back and forth, my mother had to order 'plain rice' since he ostensibly failed to grasp anything else. Unsurprisingly, they completely messed up the order. A vegetable biryani was ordered and my mother informed me she instead received a rather poor tasting vegetable curry with gravy in its place. What an absolute shame, as this used to be a decent little takeaway. Avoid it, unless you want inaccurate orders and subpar food.

I ordered on the phone and it took me a long time to get the man on the other end to hear what I was saying. He was extremely slow and seemed very distracted. I ordered a vegetable biryani and received a vegetable curry – some sort of generic mixed veg with gravy!

The driver cleared the job before he delivered the food, so I was thinking that delivered to the wrong house. Rang the restaurant. They told me it cleared the job before delivering. That’s it the end.

Also had items missing from the order. This has happened several times now over the past few months. We have ordering every week for most of this year but will look at other options now

As much we love the food from this takeout place, It seems like it slipping it’s standard. The consistency seems to be irregular. We bought over 30 quid worth a food and didn’t come with any free poppadum and salad that they used to do it before. I know the inflation is high for the restaurant but so is for the customer who is saving to try enjoy the best meal they can get from the take out. The bhaji lol the size is like a table tennis ball went from the size of Tennis ball to that. I think that’s us done, it’s been a couple of disappointing order. Cheers for the food that tasted better before.

The food was absolutely delicious, the quality is outstanding, and the delivery driver was very polite. The food was delivered a little later than originally estimated, however the restaurant notified me of the delay and kept me updated, and the food arrived hot, so all in all a great experience. Looking forward to ordering again

Order two masala dishes chicken and prawn. Both are sweet dishes. As per them masala is sweet dish but on their menu doesn't say that. Ruin my evening.
