Done it again lovely food and hot

I used to order for years from malabar then moved away. moved back and still the best Indian in Bedford absolutely delicious and generous portions highly recommend

Always a joy to order from them I have ordered in person and on the telephone never had a issue it's a pity to see bafmd reviews or I may think it is rival take aways placing these review respect goes along way with the owners and staff and I'm sure if there was ever a genuine issue it would be rectified in due time

We’ve had to start shopping around for Curry’s as the last few we’ve had from other restaurants have been disappointing. We are so glad to have discovered this place. Well cooked tender meat, great flavour pallet to sauce etc and complementary items also. Hoping we’ve found our new regular!

Food was honestly awful and containers always leak and stain my Italian marble kitchen surfaces.

TERRIBLE!! 45 minutes late food arrived cold. Missing an item and when I called they knew exactly what was missing and who was calling before the details were even given so they had clearly found the missing curry and rather than sending a driver out just left it for me to call. While dinner ruined. Will never order from here again.

There was an item missing, onion bhajis were burnt and they said it would take too long to deliver another.After waiting so long for delivery and a missing item with no effort to rectify it is absolutely out of order.

Delicious food and great portion sizes

Rice was cold. No free onions bhaji. Naan was very hard on the other hand the mixed grill was cooked incredibly well.

given a delivery time of 19.25 to 19.45. they changed this to 20.00. food still wasn't here. After phone calls the food arrived at 20.15. The driver had been waiting outside the hotel, didn't come in to the lobby.

Everyone knows the garlic Naan makes the whole meal. It was missed from our order and we were promised a refund on the telephone. Nearly two weeks later still no refund.

Quality of the food was not up to the heights of previous orders. The order was 20 minutes late. I hope my next order from Malabar will be much improved.

Normally excellent but really poor tonight. Arrived late and was cold and the order was not completely fulfilled. Phoned to log a complaint and the restaurant were completely disinterested and unapologetic.

Great delivery, driver came right to the door. Food was delicious - lamb tikka jalfrezi had plenty of lamb, peppers, chillies, onions - perfect balance of ingredients. Not sure if bhuna was chicken tikka as stated, but the chicken was still nice and there was plenty of it. King prawns were lovely and plenty of them. Great portions of meat, thank you for a tasty meal.

not sure why they gave the original time of 18 15 to 18 35, obviously not attainable. A new time was set 18 45 to 19 10 this was also not met. Curry was great though, a further more realistic time would have been nice

There are no good curry takeaways in Bedford and this is OK... Not amazing. Quality has definitely changed but it's not terrible, as others are. Also someone mentioned about onion bhajis and ours, which we purchased, also contained 3. We never receive them complimentary and didn't know other people did....

We’ve been ordering from Malabar for some time now and honestly love it so much. It’s now our comfort food and go to place. We absolutely love the chilli chicken fry mix starter and the butter mossala chicken. Also the fresh naans are a big must! We probably order from Malabar atleast twice a month, that’s how good it is. Definitely try it out, you’re missing out otherwise!!

First time ordering and even though it was 40 mins late (1 hour 40 total waiting time) the food was still piping hot and delicious. The app told us it was delayed too, so at least we knew. The driver was apologetic and gave us a free bottle of coke, plus Saturday night too, so it was all fine. Got the chicken korma and chicken Malaysia. Both tasted quite similar to be fair, both coconutty, but both tasted so good. Free onion bhajis too, for spending a certain amount, 4 of them, so great portion. Would order again!

So disappointed. We order pretty much every week and delivery is always reliable. Tonight: almost an hour late. We had ordered for a family member who had to leave without eating their food, because it was so late.

Food was good, tasted and smelled amazing. Portion sizes were very good and good amount of meat in curry dishes, most places are quite stingy on that. have ordered from there twice and worth the price.
