Although we visited on a quiet Monday night I can't not give them 5 out of 5! They were very attentive and carefull when laying out food! However it was the really tasty meal that got my attention! I had driven for 50 minutes to meet my Dad and am really glad I let him choose the restaurant! I had a fantastic Biraini and some delicious side dishes! I had more than enough food and they supplied a takeaway for the leftovers! What struck me was how well cooked the food was and that even after a night on the takeaway tub there was almost no oil residue in the container! Delicious even after a day In the fridge! I look forward to returning +++

Food was OK but no chilli heat at all considering the lamb was supposed to be medium hot. The chicken was in fact sweet. Portion sizes were half what we expected and half the lentils had spilt in the bag during transit. Not overly impressed. Very disappointed as we were expecting great things from the reviews we had read. However, delivery was fast, just half an hour.

This place has really gone downhill. It always used to be our favourite local takeaway but we will now need to find another. The Dahl was watery, the korma which I chose for my children as it is usually very mild was spicy, even I found it spicy. Such a shame but they must have changed the chef or something

We visited Amala this evening for Valentines, and must say we were very disappointed with the food & service. We had booked for 7.30pm, when arriving we were given poppadoms before being offered a drink…. We then waited 40mins to order our food. We didn’t receive our mains until 9.30pm and the quality was poor! We had no apologies at all for the delay in service. We hardly touched our food for waiting so long. The waiters seemed more interested in their continuous telephone orders than the actual customers in the restaurant, we overheard them telling another table that they had 71 orders for takeaway! They only had 2 front of house staff, one being continuously on the phone and the other was running food and not really talking to anyone. The chef himself delivered meals to a table in his chef whites a couple of times. They also told another table that they had no deserts this evening. We won’t be returning anytime soon due to this.

I ordered motor paneer, tarka daal, and veg Passanda. From the vegetables to the paneer cheese, everything was mushy, and tasted suspiciously similar. All ready for takeaway in 20 minutes... Not awful, but not great. I've definitely had better at other Indian restaurants.

I had food here, the quality of beef was poor. There is not a lot of competition here. I won’t b coming back. you would really not want drive to eat here.

Picked up a takeaway tonight 15mins after ordering it by phone, we live 10mins away & by the time we got home every item, I.e. chicken tikka massala sag alsoo onion bhajees, rice, even the nasn was really cold & had to be heated in the microwave. Such a shame as we'd heard quite a few good reviews. Unfortunately won't be rushing back!

£15.39 1 chicken vindaloo, 1 poppadom, 2" paratha " *First review Vindaloo ok I suppose... So about £5 spent on a poppadom and two "paratha"? ... Paratha was like greasy terrible pancakes!... No layers!, none of the nice stuff... Binned. Not paratha.!!!.. I love Partha so screw you!!... So like 2 of them I think was £2.80... so like £2 for a single small poppadom or something.... Meh... Although small portion, Vindaloo actually wasn't too bad... Only had a piece of potato with the chicken , and flavour was ok ... I'm not gonna complain tbh was expecting a higher potato to chicken ratio so maybe I was lucky in that regard and it tasted similar to authentic vindaloo... In some ways...🤷♂️ ... But the sides...🤦 Soo badd!!!... Best part was the perfectly steamed fluffy rice... But I cooked that part myself ...😎

Unfortunately we had a terrible takeaway. Haven’t had one in a while so maybe there’s been a change of chef? My tandoori murgh was so salty and flavourless I could barely eat it. The tikka masala was super sweet with sultanas and a red colour only food colouring could make. And then all of us had bad stomachs. I am still suffering today 3 days later. I’ll admit I have a sensitive gut but K2 was the one place that didn’t upset my stomach. What’s happened! For me now, it’s so overpriced and not authentic. Such a shame.
