Had a takeaway for the first time. Food was lovely. Excellent service and on time for collection. Will definitely be back.

Lovely butter chicken plenty portions. Hubby enjoyed his chicken tikkia and keema rice hubby has said nicer than our usual curry so will be using this curry takeaway in future.

Went to Mumtaz on Kettering Road to find it has now closed and merged in with Merlin on Wellingborough Road. From the menu at Merlin it appears to be part Merlin and the menu on the door part Mumtaz. Will review on Merlin!!

Tastes and flavours were nice. Not much meat in the portions. Not cheap either. Preordered the food for 6.45pm. Turned up for collection at 6.43pm. Was told by the member of staff that I was 15 mins early! The food was eventually ready at 7.17pm.

Unfortunately this time the order was missing items and the quality of the food was poor , poppadoms were chewy and not very nice and some of them were missing,onto the chicken china as the chicken was hard and we both thought it was tasteless

We’re staying for the first time in Stamford and decided to come here as it’s within easy walking distance of where we’re staying and the sensibly written reviews seemed very complimentary. My 88 year old mother, my husband and I weren’t disappointed. We had an absolutely excellent meal - starters, mains and sides. Portions were extremely generous and we have brought our leftovers back to our accommodation. The staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself is a stylishly sympathetic conversion of a lovely traditional building.

I don't recommend the sheesh kebab. I got a terrible indigestion. My beverage and the main course were nice. Much better than the other similar restaurant down the road.

Exquisite food and really good service. The food served here was some of the best I’ve tasted- so fresh and delicately spiced. The serving staff were so feel sly and helpful too. I would highly recommend it.
