Really good, not many curry options in Buxton but definitely the best, very tasty. Good portion sizes, reasonable prices & friendly staff - free Rubicon for my boy 😀

Never disappointed! My favourite Indian.

Ordered a takeaway from the Tikka Villa as we were on holiday locally. Food was ready on time and handover nice and simple. Parking out the front for quick pickup of orders. Food was tasty. My Chicken Pathia was on the hotter end of the scale so be aware if you’re on the cusp of heat levels.

Ordered food, came wrongly, ordered a madras, think I got a chicken curry with less heat than a 25 watt led bulb.. called them up. Got told they mixed the orders up.. great.. chucked my half of the £23 curry in the bin. It was cold and vile.. poor show tikka villa!!!!

Plenty of food at a good price. Very tasty and arrived on time. Recommend the chicken tikka masala and peshwari naan.

Saw the great reviews and staying up the road decided to go for it. Looked online and was £62 through one of the delivery sites. Phoned it thru direct for £53!!! Inc. poppadoms and dips! Friendly staff and ready bang on time! Quality of food? Superb! Amount? Absolutely loads. Would sooo recommend this place. The food is great, very authentic cuisine & reasonably priced. We have found the people working there are very accommodating & friendly. We arrived without any way of paying & they trusted us to pay the next time we ordered which obviously did. Would recommend.

First take away bought from Tikka Village after a recommendation made via local Facebook group. Portions were plentiful, delivery was on time and food was tasty.

Ordered via their website for collection. Was ready on time, the staff were friendly. We had a 15 minute drive back to our accommodation, the food was hot when we got back. The dishes were some of the best we have had from an Indian takeaway, they were full of flavour and the portion size was very good for the price. The Nan breads were cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend, feel like this is a hidden gem in Buxton, it is such a shame we live so far away! When we visit again we have both said we would order again.

9.9 times out of 10 this place is very good, however tonight I was over charged and under impressed with the poor quality of the phone service when ordering, the cleanliness of the kitchen when collecting, and the extremely poor tasting curries. The chicken tikka looked rotten and tasted inedible, there was a weird jelly like texture with a piece of the chicken as if it was raw so myself and partner both abandoned our dishes. Very dry and hard chips also. Based off this one bad experience I doubt I will be ordering from here again.

The food from here is usually quite good but today it took over an hour and a half to arrive, arrived cold and the Tikka Masala sauce was bright red and totally flavourless! Very disappointed!

Tikka Villa's delivery driver went above, then beyond, then above again in his efforts to locate and deliver our large order to the remote holiday house where we were staying with a group of friends last weekend. Then a second member of the team arrived 10 minutes later with two dishes missing from our first delivery (we hadn't even noticed at that point). The food was very tasty - even all our children (some of whom can be a little fussy at times) devoured it. Definitely recommended.

Open kitchen, clean and fascinating to watch, good decor, good seated waiting area. I didn't each much but the food was reasonable, prices were good, service was good and quick!

We orderd 2 onion bhaji, chicken Tikka, Chilli Nann and a portion of chips today, weve tried the rest now we have tried the best, stunning tikka, succulent chicken and the best onion bhaji around, the nann was fresh and well cooked chips were still red hot after we arrived back in Tideswell, I've eaten at award winning restaurants in Bradford and I'm so happy to say this was better, if I could give 10 I would.

Such an underrated takeaway! Don't order from here often but it's such a nice takeaway! The food is amazing & the portion sizes are generous and the prices are brilliant too! Will definitely be placing more orders here in future! X

I am from an asian background and i know my curry's. foods at this takeaway is very authentic. Just read a review someone saying that the curries are too watery . when the container lid goes on the container condensates so some water falls on the curry. However if you get the exact same curry in a restaurant the steam lets off in the air so i totally disagree with the other review as the curry is just as good if not better at tikka villa

Excellent food, fragrant and tasty with perfect heat descriptions. They happily delivered to Buxton CAMC campsite and this was very welcome. The food arrived hot and the delivery driver was friendly. This was a lovely addition to our camping holiday.

Zai Bala lagse.. we were on a road trip from London to Peak district. We stayed in a BnB a few doors down from this curry takeaway.. I had the jalfrazi with Naga 🔥 will be back next time.

We had the incredibly reasonable Set Meal A (£19 as of Aug 2020) very nice food, can't complain. Friendly staff in the shop. Worth noting you must pay cash.

Lovely food!! I ordered very late and i made a mistake,rang up and said i hadn't got all i ordered. But i had! Staff were very nice and polite about it. Will definitely order again!

I thought this was the only decent Indian food take away in Buxton but was so disappointed when, on a rare decision to order food for delivery and looking forward to a good, spicy, well cooked meal, the reality was inedible. Having found the Jalfrezi a little too hot the last time we had a take away, I went for a Rogan Josh so I'd be able to enjoy the flavours. Unfortunately, this sauce was completely devoid of spice... or flavour. The food also arrived cold and even the poppadoms weren't properly cooked; how can they get it so wrong? It's an expensive mistake I won't be making again. Has it changed hands. Horrible!

Food here is always excellent. Full real flavours and proper spiced curry. Loads of meat. Naan breads are delicious. Super helpful staff who can help with stuff that isnt even on the menu. Best place in buxton for real flavour and value for money.

used to use regular and stopped due to some bad meals however started ordering again because no where else delivers and up till now meals have been ......ok but the last 2 have had rubberey chicken, piss thin sauce and if you serve and leave for 2 minutes a lake of water forms around your food, such a shame because the flavour is there.

We order quite regularly from Tikka Villa and it's always been top drawer, so to get this terrible food delivered was a real disappointment. The chicken didn't taste like chicken at all, the food was tasteless and the rice was cold, we usually get popadoms aswell but we didn't even get them. It was a complete waste of money and wont be ordering again.

Me and my family go here all the time and I absolutely love it! If you get anything off the menu you HAVE to get the meat samosas they are the nicest samosas I have ever had and think about them on the daily. Always dead pleasant inside and on the phone and the food is never a disappointment

best takeaway in buxton fast delivery and good price

TERRIBLE SERVICE. I called today at 22:35hrs for collection. The guy on the phone could not speak English. I said I wanted a vegetable Onion Bhaji. I then placed my usual order of a curry. It came to £14.50, more than I was expecting. It felt rushed. I said I will collect at 22:55. He said NO, he is closing and to get there at 22:50hrs. Then he just put the phone down. I then arrive, pay the £14.50. No manners or please and thank you. I arrive home to see that I have been given no Onion/veg bhaji and I am given a mixed veg dish and my curry. I tried calling back at 23:02 to inform them of this. There was no answer. There is no facility to email them. Thus, I am using this. People BEAWARE. They will give you the wrong order, over charge you and then to add further insult, are just rude on the phone.

Epic portions, great tasty food and fast helpful service....yum yum yum. Only minor points were mango chutney was a bit to spicy for us and cauliflower side dish could do with less (or no) potatoes and more cauliflower.

The best take away curry in Buxton by far. I’ve eaten Currys all around the world and it’s best tasting curry I’ve ever had. Try the South Indian exotica. A superb variety and taste. Jed the owner is very friendly and hospitable. 5* all the way.

I've been going to Tikka Villa ever since they opened 9 years ago. They were the Indian takeaway I'd been waiting for in Buxton. The food is always superb. And the staff are always polite and friendly.

After looking on trip advisor for a good curry house near chapel en la frith Tikka villa come up. After checking the reviews we gave Tikka villa a go the kitchen was spotless and the staff friendly. The food was amazing delicious full of flavours. Will be visiting Tikka Villa again.

Tikka Villa is simply a divine curry house. Very very nice indian food and you can eat in or take out. There is no delivery service so you need to ring and collect for take away. The only Indian take away/restaurant in Buxton that offers Beef curries (Beef Madras, Beef Balti etc.) at a high quality.

Good food. Bengali brothers from Manchester. Called then, they said it's all halal. No alcohol served on premise. Also recommend halal pizza place down the road.

Ordered for the first time tonight and will definitely be going back. We ordered chicken biryani and peshwari naan. Both were really good and the portions were generous. Also had onion baji and although really tasty, would have preferred them without the red colouring. Food was cooked to order and the ingredients tasted nice and fresh. We live in Bradford so we know what good Indian food tastes like. Would recommend!

We ordered from Tikka Villa for New Year and whilst there was nothing bad about any of the dishes there was nothing particularly impressive either - fairly similar flavours across different dishes.

Staying at grin low caravan club site and decided on our last night to do as we do and get a takeaway checked out tikka villa on TripAdvisor and very pleased we did the reviews were not wrong !! We had the chicken tikka balti masala each and naan breads with onion bahji to start and sweet and garlic rice very flavoursome food freshly prepared in front of you in the open kitchen oh and didn't expect the extra free mints and poppadoms and chutneys which we got ! Friendly service and the new led lighting looks very good under the counter we will definitely be back when we visit next ..... thankyou for the best balti we've had for a long time

What a waste of £45! Watery curry. Not good. I had the lamb madras which was good old tomato soup with a pinch of curry powder! Not to mention stringy meat. My wife had a sub par korma and 90% of the whole order went in the bin. Including the soggy chips that didn't get delivered first time.

This has been my 'go to' Indian take-away over several years and the place I always recommend to friends/family. The food is consistently great, the portions are a good size, service is quick, the staff are really friendly and it's nice to see the chefs work their magic in the 'open to public view' kitchen.
