Edit 7th Sept 2024 After a recent council inspection this place has a food hygiene rating of ZERO. Food is ok although nothing special. Atmosphere is not great with strange mismatched decor and very dim lighting. Staff spend all their time texting on their phones, with their backs to the tables.

My partner introduced me to this as he is local to the area and I have eaten hundreds of Indians over my lifetime but I must admit this is the nicest I’ve ever had. We eat there regularly now and can never fault it. Great service. Great location great menu great prices what’s not to like? We will definitely be back. See you soon guys keep up the great work.

Got a delivery from New Mills Cuisine to the C&CC site in Hayfield. Delivery was prompt, and the driver called me when he was at the gate. The food was excellent. My misses really liked her Lamb Dopiazza, and she isn't easily pleased with food she hasn't made herself. My Paneer Tikka Masala and mushroom rice was lovely. Will use it again when we're in the area.

Had an end of season football meal here. Food was amazing, staff were very accommodating and the price was great.

I was camping in the area and picked up a takeaway last night - it was fabulous. We had the set new for two and it was more than enough for us and extremely tasty. Even better was the value which is outstanding. I will definitely be back whenever I am in the area. Note that their website is down so I just phoned up. Definitely worthwhile getting their full menu and it is extremely comprehensive.

If you can wait 1 hour to be informed it will again take 10 more min for your mains. And that's your cup of tea. Go for it.! Disaster of a service. But I'm very certain chefs work very hard, but services are tarnishing their reputation.! Darn.. that tandoor platter is bad! The lemon was good though.

Five of us enjoyed an excellent meal last evening. The food was tasty, with some interesting dishes such as chicken chotpotl....with chickpeas and cauliflower in a delicious sauce. Garlic naan thin and freshly-made. Service was great. A very enjoyable experience. I will definitely return when in the area again.

First visit to New Mills Cuisine whilst staying at The Waltzing Weasel B&B (another 5 Star recommendation!). We went for an early evening meal. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was so much choice and we opted for the set meal for two, and together with a glass of house red wine and a couple of glasses of lime and soda, the bill came to just over £30. The food was lovely, service was excellent, atmosphere warm and friendly, and bar far, the best value meal we’ve had in an Indian restaurant, ever! 5-Stars guys! Well done! And when next in the area we will definitely be back.

What was promisingly tasty but not that warm (heat of the food, not spice). Poppadoms weren't fresh sadly. It could have been better.

Visited for the first time and yes was quite , but it was Tuesday. Had one of the best curry's ever and the peshwari naan was the best I ever had the staff and ali were fantastic and cannot wait to return . Chef even came out to see us , you won't be disappointed in taste and flavour and the handsomely portions , great value

We arrived just as the restaurant had opened so there was only us in. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was fantastic. The portions were great. The price made my night!

Onion Bhaji hot and crunchy lovely. Lamb Rogan Josh spiced just right with a keema nan. Great value wine and lager. Chicken Makani for the wife. Can't recommend enough.

My first visit to this Indian restaurant, but definitely not the last. The food was very good for quality and quantity with a wide choice on the menu. The interior decor is very startling and somewhat tired with novelty ceiling lights constantly changing colours. A pleasant experience and very reasonably priced 👍

Lovely meal with great service.

Food was ok, no problems. We found that apart from the one member of staff (in an Xmas jumper, I’m sorry I didn’t get your name) were quite unfriendly. It almost felt like they really didn’t want to be there. We were given the wrong bill (much more than we had ordered) which was sorted by staff (totally understand that mistakes happen) however, when we were then given the correct bill, We mentioned to them that we had paid £40 cash deposit as requested. They came back to us and basically said we had to prove we had paid it. We had kept the receipt but it was at home, personally I would expect a restaurant to have made a note of the deposit. They actually asked us to go home to get the receipt. My husband and uncle were just going out of the door leaving myself and step daughter at the table when a different member of staff found our £40 deposit, stapled into a diary with our name in the top. Sadly we ended up feeling like we were being accused of lying about having paid the deposit. Maybe make sure all deposits are recorded next to the booking in all calendars.

Good food soured by our small group experience of very poor and rude attitude of service staff, being issued with wrong bill (£80 more than we ordered), we forgot our receipt for reservation showing deposit paid, had to leave 2 of the party sat at the table so we could drive home for our proof of deposit. Restaurant found their copy and the £40 cash deposit as we were leaving the premises, totally disgusted that we weren't believed as all tables that night were £10 per head cash deposit and our table booking was in the diary upon arrival. Not impressed, won't use again.

we got lost on the way and called the restaurant. Ali not only gave us directions but came outside and helped us find a parking spot! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We ordered some dishes we hadn't heard of before and really enjoyed them. We will definitely be back when we are next in the area. What a lovely warm and friendly place with great food!

On holiday and in search of a good Indian restaurant and am very happy to say we found one. Excellent menu, lots of new dishes as well as traditional favourites. Service was quick and friendly, good value, came out feeling full and happy. Would definitely recommend.

Hi we have had food from you before and never had a problem. Last night 10thSeptember 2023 we ordered our food but the popadoms were not crispy at all chewy and like stale, the garlic Nan wasn’t good at all thin crispy on edges and seem to be any garlic. I don’t want to do this but I thought you would like honesty. Ollersett Ave.

It has been many years since I last went for a curry. I have recently moved and was pleasantly surprised to find this little gem within a few minutes walking distance. I came out with a few friends from the gym and the place was full on the Sunday night we went in. (03.09.23). We were served by a lovely young gentleman who was really nice and made sure we were looked after, as did the rest of the team. Service was really good and the curry I had was very tasty indeed. ( I had a house special but can't remember the name). I am definitely coming again .

I've had a takeaway here a couple of times. It's always delivered in the time frame they say (usually within an hour). I tend to get a biriyani, and it's always delicious . You get plenty, too.

After so many recommendations its such a shame it was so disappointing. Staff are very pleasant and very helpful. But the lamb chops were so tough I couldnt eat them the passander is definitely not the best. And the masala was just so red. Lots of sauce ,very little meat in both dishes.The chapati was like eating chewing gumI'm putting it down to it being a takeaway though why that should make a difference I'm not sure. The restaurant only had two tables in so cant even say it's because they were busy It's not the cheapest curry place around so I really did expect better. Haven't decided yet wether I will give this a second chance. The poppadoms were very nice though. And complimentary. I was also offered a drink on the house while I waited. So as I say cant fault the service,but then that's not what I went for.

Delived late again. Brought us a meat dish for my son and daughter when we always order vegetarian. Telephoned them and they couldn't care. All Google searches show this place as closed in companies House and I don't agree with the hygiene rating so will be reported.

Went here for a works Christmas party. Food was great and reasonably priced, service was good and the staff were welcoming. Would go again.

After a long walk really wanted something filling, been a while since I had a good Indian and this place certainly delivered. Service was great and was able relax and unwind comfortably. Went for the Jalfrezi and the spice was at just the right level. And all very reasonably priced.

Not happy that the Sunday special is not available to take away. They have let me do so previously. This is not stated on their web site or menu. What a sad reply. You have gone down in my estimations a great deal. I don't use Facebook. I called myself to your restaurant after visiting your website. Your site mentions nothing about the Sunday special being an eat in option only. It is also sad you make untrue comments about me being rude. Saying "OK , I'll leave it then, thanks" and pointing out that this should be mentioned clearly on your web site is constructive criticism, not being rude. Grow up and accept valid reviews instead of making derogatory comments at potential customers.

We visited while staying nearby for a few days and were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by Ali, the owner. It was great to see a menu with far more choice than the usual 'british taste' dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. The environment was very pleasant and the staff were excellent. We would definitely visit again if in the area.

Had a takeaway for 4 people from here on Saturday evening. We all had starters and mains and they were nearly all different a mix of chicken, seafood and vegetarian dishes. The service was first class from the guy who took the order over the phone, the chef who cooked the food, who ever packaged up the food and the delivery guy who brought it to the door. The food was hot and nothing had leaked into the bags which often happens with takeaway curries. And it was all delicious. The helpings were so generous that there were leftovers which we ate the next day for lunch. Still delicious. Highly recommended.

6 of us had a beautiful meal last night, mixture of everything and still giving free baileys or brandy afterwards, great value for money an fab service. Thanks guys

Great meal tonight! Raj did a brilliant job and was very friendly and approachable. Atmosphere was really nice with well presented staff. The menu is excellent with a great variety of options and the food is just brilliant. Portion sizes were very good for both adults and kids alike & timing was excellent. The Sagwala is really tasty! We'll be back!

One of the best places we've been for a curry in a long time. Flavours were amazing. Restaurant was lovely and cool and very nice decor. Staff were friendly and attentive. Excellent value for money and excellent service from start to finish. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant staff, But after visiting, With in just a week, The Prices had gone up 10%, I didn't have enough Cash on me, So unfortunately I had 2 pay by Debit Card.

We're quite spoilt living in Manchester with a great selection of Indian Restaurants and was a bit dubious that this place wouldn't be as good, but it was excellent. The staff were amazing and really friendly and the food was exceptional. Had the chicken tikka gorkali and it was the best curry I've had. The draft Cobra was spot on and not "eggy" as with some Indian Restaurants. Had a lovely chat with the owner who gave us a complimentary drink. They also do cocktails and have a great selection of drinks. We will be back before we go home xx

Would love to give 5 stars as the food was amazing. My family go to this Indian reguraly and we decided to have a little get together there. Unfortunately my experience, as well as 2 other new guests' was spoilt by ignorant,rude waiter who served us that night. Awful customer service -the food must be good as I felt like giving 1 star because of him. Id say - take away is an option for new customers to avoid disappointment, unless the staff get some training. The restaurant owner will know, who the waiter was if I mention 'right and left side if the table' as thats how we split the bill. Compliments to the chef.

The food is amazing and one of the best indisn I've eaten, however the customer service was terrible (this applies to one specific waiter that served our table -party of 12). Rude attitude is an understatement. I'd suggest take away to avoid potential disappointment, but to be able to taste the fabulous food. Would have been 5 for food, 1 for the service, I didn't want to be awful and average it, not to harm the reputation. Train the waiter and we will be back;)

This used to be my favourite place for takeaway, but sadly they seem to have a new chef. I liked their bombay with potatoes and egg in, it had a nice kick too. Now it lacks flavour and has no potato in.
