Alfraz Indian Takeaway in East Northamptonshire

My first takeaway from here and will not be the last . Food was hot when it arrived within 20 minutes of ordering .tasted amazing . Don’t go anywhere else . This establishment is a must .

We gave these guys a go as we have recently been underwhelmed by our usual spot. Unfortunately this food was underwhelming also. The food arrived well in time and was a reasonable temperature. Unfortunately it was quite bland, the chicken was a little overcooked and the lamb was mostly chewy. The sides were ok but again lacking in wow factor. Overall not a terrible experience at all, we ate enough of the food to be full & nothing was very bad. We may try again incase we caught them on a bad night, hoping for a better experience next time.

Very good quality food, very attentive to instructions about varying spiciness of dish etc., very polite service. Easy parking. Good prices and the Banquet Night deal that they do a couple of nights is a stonking bargain now that everything is so expensive. I always collect so can't comment on the delivery service.

Very disappointed with our takeaway last night. Lacked chicken and what was was really chewy. Onion bhajis were inedible and so peppery. This is the second takeaway we have had recently that hasn't been as nice as before but thought give them another chance. Won't be ordering again from here very disappointing

Excellent Indian takeaway with amazing food. Had an issue where our order online did not match what the restaurant received, but was quickly resolved with no issues. We will always be using this Indian from now on.

Excellent takeaway food, I enjoyed their Chicken tikka saag with mushroom rice, naan breads travel well and tasted delicious and the sag aloo was excellent. Good value for what was received.

We have used The Alraaz ever since it opened and without exception every meal has been superb in taste and quality. Delivery is brisk and on-line ordering is very easy. We love their Onion Bhajis, Lamb Tikka Starter, Chicken Tikka Dansak, Chicken Tikka Balti & Kashmiri Korhai to name but a few favourites! Highly recommended! Simon & Karen K.

Delicious food that is always delivered on time. We have tried different meals and all of them were tasty. I recommend it to anyone and everyone. I'll definitely come back myself.

After my local Indian was closed one evening I was craving and this was open. Tried it and this is now my local Indian. A pescatarian not usually much options for me but the Egg Biryani with Vegetable Curry is to die for never seen this in any Indian before but I’m so pleased with the food here never had a bad meal. The staff in the takeaway are always friendly there is parking outside and closed usually on a Monday. Also they offer delivery service which is reliable as-well, great takeaway if your looking for a new Indian cuisine.

First time ordering and was very enjoyable and filling. Had korma and chicken tikka massala as mains. They were good sized portions and not full of vegetables like some places, just the sauce and meat. Quick delivery and polite. The only thing was, I found the tray with the mixed kebab starter a bit watery/oily at the bottom.

Ordered for delivery for the first time. Our usual favourites and a suggestion from the guy who took our order. Food was delicious. Will definitely be making this our usual!

The owner is old school real gentleman knows how to take care of a customer a very nice man and is happy to offer his collection discounts and the food was Good better than the others around and nice portion sizes and quality was good not greasy and nice amount of meat in thenaans rice and Currys it's refreshing to find a better place, thank you

Was told about this restaurant by a friend of mine, so I drove from Northampton to get a takeaway, the food was very good and well worth the drive,

Wonderful takeaway. Easy to park. Very friendly prompt and polite service. Comfortable waiting area. Food was piping hot and well packaged. No leaks. And it was SO delicious. Absolute top. Highly recommended!

What a shame. Editing this review from 5 stars. Over 1.5hrs till arrived. Called just after an hour to ask where it was - "driver had taken it 20mins ago" 30+mins in a car leads to warm food, tough dry chicken, soggy chipati and stake onion bhajis. Flavours were fine, apart from the dupiaza that tasted strongly of coriander leaf. Will try again at some point but will definitely collect.

This is a two part review, first the food, nothing wrong there, I usually have the Moghul grill which is laced with Naga and is very good, also the Madras is nice and tasty, I have no problem with the food Part two is the online order system which is unreliable, a couple of weeks ago I ordered and 45 minutes later the order was accepted, this meant it was 90 minutes before my meal was delivered, ok it was Saturday so I let that go however it gets worse, last night (Monday) I ordered online and after an hour rang to check only to be told they had no order for me, this is no good at all and will lose customers, they need to sort this out or stop the online order system

Let me first set the scene.. I'm a travelling worker who often depends on takeaway to feed himself and as such I've eaten in hundreds of Indians. It's not often I can say that this is the best Indian I've ever tasted.. there is an amazing one in Gravesend in Kent and this one.. Top marks, fresh and hot, and guys that couldn't do enough to help, even finding me a full set of cutlery. I'm genuinely impressed, thank you.

We've been ordering from here since it opened and it is by far the best Indian takeaway in Rushden! The quality is amazing and hardly any grease like some other local indian takeaways that are swimming. So tasty with a perfect amount of spices. You can really tell they use high quality ingredients which yes ok you do pay a little more but its so so worth it! Staff are so friendly like yesterday I ordered through website and I accidently put to pay ny cash instead of card so I rang the restaurant and paid by card over the phone with no issue at all. Highly highly recommend alraaz!

I have been ordering from this place since it opened. They have a few new dishes that are very tasty and unique. The customer service is excellent and delivery is always within the time stated. Never been disappointed with the food and the portions. The prices are relatively normal to some places I have been. Good quality food at the right price. Alraaz has its own website that you can order from and sometimes they give you a complementary dish. They are also on Just Eat and Deliveroo in which they sometimes have offers as well. I have had meals from a lot of places but this place is the best.

Excellent takeaway Indian Food but rather expensive in compaarison to others. This takeaway was around £13 more expensive for my chosen meal than another establishment less than a quarter of mile away. I tried the other establishment but it was very disappointing whereas this is always excellent and consistently good. I do not mind paying extra money for a similiar choice to get top-notch cuisine.

First time we’ve had an Indian takeaway in ages and this was absolutely amazing! Absolutely gorgeous and loads of it, excellent value and full of flavour 5/5.

It's just like having the best Indian restaurant back but in the form of a takeaway.....beautiful food, great service...my chicken dhansak was excellent and the mushroom rice also but it was nice to order a keema naan and actually receive meat in the naan rather than a paste type substance. I ordered again later on in the week and received a chicken jalfrezi which was excellent. The town really missed the Teza.....but its back as a takeaway......very good.
