The best restaurants serving Indian food in Derby East Midlands

We used the venue for our China wedding anniversary... everything promised was delivered. Good food cooked to our taste and more!

The White Elephant Kitchen did a pop-up at the Shiny Tap, we had the best of everything, good ale and good food, what more do you want on a Friday evening.

The lady on reception was so warm & welcoming & had the biggest smile on her face! We ordered an online takeaway, so visited to pick up our meal. Online ordering was straightforward, checkout safe & secure & waiting time for our meal was acceptable. We ordered Lamb Rogan Josh, Lamb Korma, both with Pilau Rice, Garlic & Butter Naans. Good size portions, hot, flavoursome, meat tender, as was the rice. Naan breads were deliciously moist & moreish. All, great value for money! We are hoping to revisit but to eat in the restaurant as the food was so good & the staff so welcoming & friendly. There were customers with children eating in & by the laughter heard, clearly they appeared to be having a positive experirnce. We will definitely recommend this establishment to friends & family!

I had been recommended by a friend... That this is ths best indian restaurant in derby... Soon as i got there i was like can i have menu and he laughed at me... I then asked il have a pint of carling... It came from a can! ... No heating... If u want an authentic indian feel... Please come here.

We just had a lovely meal.The staff were very attentive and checked on every course to ensure everything was OK.

The food was fantastic. I had a Patakha Karahi which is new on the menu, the spice level was fairly hot, but as a hot curry lover It could go hotter. Nicola the hostess was amazing and couldn’t do enough, she deserves a wage rise 😁

The best curry I've had in a long time. We had chicken palak and keema matar. Both were delicious.

Ordered a delivery of 3 currys with rice, got quoted £65, I thought this was pretty steep as we rang another local curry house and for the same meal it was £37 delivered, with free popadoms and pickle tray.... nearly half the price. I asked him to check the price as it was high and he confirmed it was £65 plus delivery. Very steep for a take away curry.

Our second time here and it was just as good as the first. We had onion bhajis and mirch wali fish to start, the fish was gorgeous. For mains we shared lamb khumbhara, chicken khagani with mushroom rice and a garlic naan. The staff are lovely the food is great and they have some lovely pictures on the walls, what’s not to love! We’ll be back next month when we’re in Derby to see another band.

We were very pleased that this place could handle quite a large booking on relatively short notice. The food was spicy tasty and in plentiful supply, and the wine list was for a curry house, really rather good. Only downside for me really was the speed of service in places, which led to a rather rushed end of meal due to us having plans later in the evening. But the complimentary drinks did make up for it some. We will certainly be back next time we're in the area.

This is my second visit to Radhuni and I like the food and the service. To be honest, I had expected just another Indian restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. We tried a number of dishes between our group and none were found wanting. If you’re in Ilkeston, give it a try!

So much fabulous looking food to choose from you are truly spoilt for choice, freshly cooked, it is our go to place with excellent service from whoever is behind the counter.
