Ordered a takeaway on New Year’s Eve and it was the best curry I’ve had on my visit to family in derby Superb cannot go wrong, I strongly recommend you to try the king prawn + chicken Masala

Been here a few times and always had a good meal, however service has never been the best, and never much atmosphere.saturday was no exception but apparently it was their last night.Once again, lovely meal but no one seemed interested, that's probably why.Sorry the Resteraunt didn't take off. This is now reverting to the old Sheezan.

Been coming here since the change over from "The Sheezan" and have never been disappointed. The staff are great, the prices are competitive, the drinks are cheaper than a lot of pubs, why take your own wine at these prices?Above all the food is terrific.I have spoken to a lot of people and they have never had a bad meal .Come on Ripley give it a try,I don't think you'll regret it.

fantastic value and service, you can tell from just the aromas that these people know how to get the best from the ingredients, from mild to savagely hot you can still taste the individual spices and the chefs will cook to your specific taste,i tried chicken korma made exceedingly hot with fresh chillis first and it was gorgeous.next i tried garlic and chilli lamb and it was again gorgeous, the dips and bhajis are excellent,my partner and i love indian food and will be ordering our food from nowhere else in the future..........

First visit here, as recommended by friends. Menu could use some revision, but service was spot-on (it being a quieter night), and our food was bang-on. Attentive staff who looked after us and saw that we were served what we liked to our specifications (she likes mild, I like fiery!). Very reasonable prices, and the wine offer could not be turned down, although draught Cobra at £3 a pint was attractively priced. Will definitely return for that 'can't eat any more feeling' :)

New owners doing a great job. Short menu but lovely food and decent prices too. Worth checking out and great that our fears, having lost the longstanding Sheezan have proven unfounded. Good luck to the new owners and keep it up.

Been here a couple of times since last review and it keeps getting better. The appearance of the restaurant is very improved, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is excellent and very well presented. They have a very good choice of drinks and at the moment have a good deal on house wine.Still miss the old Sheezan but can't fault the new regime at all, well worth a visit.

This is the refurbished Sheezan Resteraunt though not much refurbishment has taken place.initial impressions weren't very good, having pre booked still had to wait for a table, then 20 minutes before any sort of service,at the end of the night we were told the debit machine wasn't working & had to scrat up to pay the bill.On the plus side the staff were polite & friendly & the food was good,at the end of the day thats all that matters. Its not the Sheezan but times change, will definitely go again.
