Nice resturant but ready made food, not made to order like a normal Indian resturant so no deviating from the limited menu, for example, you can have mushroom and garlic rice, but you can't have just garlic. Orderd food, came out within 3 minutes. No doubt left overs get heated up next day. Not impressed to be honest.

Food was gorgeous. Atmosphere an absolute let down! Couldnt hear eachother speak the music is so so loud. I think if they did a seperate restraunt with no club music i wouldve enjoyed it more. Im young and enjoy nightlife but not when im trying to have a "fancy" meal with my partner. I feel the cocktail bar should be seprate if thats why the music is so loud. I had real hopes for this place but if we had been put in a slightly quiter spot i wouldve loved this place.Wouldnt recommend for that reason.

The food was absolutely amazing, I wanted to bring my husband for a while and it completely lived up to expectations. Our server jasmine was fantastic, so lovely and attentive it made our experience a full five stars. Every server should be like Jasmine :-) thank you!

Saturday bottomless brunch, 10/10, the only brunch where they’re not skimpy on the food! Drinks were flowing, we had Ruby as our waitress and she was very accommodating, kind and made our experience even better.. thank you 🌶️👌🏽

Came in about 2pm yesterday. Ruby was really friendly and polite. She checked in regularly to make sure everything was OK or if we needed anything. The food was amazing I had the lamb saag with mushroom garlic rice, absolutely beautiful. Lovely experience!

We had dinner at Nicco Restaurant last night with friends, and it was our first time trying Indian cuisine here. We absolutely loved the experience! The food was incredible, bursting with flavors, and the service from Sienna was exceptional. We highly recommend Nicco and will definitely be returning.

A great place to enjoy an evening with family and friends. A vibrant atmosphere with delicious food and great company, all helped along nicely by the excellent service we received (thank you Jasmin). If you’re in (or near) Derby and looking for an alternative Indian dinning experience then look no further than Nicco’s, you won’t be disappointed.

Came for my daughter's birthday, amazing service by Vikrant and the food was amazing. They even brought her a small cake and sang happy birthday which really made her day! :) Thanks so much.

First class service and delicious meal

Reasonably new restaurant to Derby area but already proving itself to be a busy and popular place to eat. Been here twice now in the last 8 months and both times had a positive experience. Decor is nice and modern. Menu is extensive and offers some new and interesting twists on traditional dishes. You get a mix of clientele in here so expect a mixed crowd. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for something new and different.

Superb food came along with it superb service from Natalie, who served us with a smile. Our food came promptly and for the price I felt was more than fair in terms of its quality. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. A brilliant dining experience.

Went to Nicco’s last night for the first time. The food was divine but my favourite by far was the chilli paneer. We were served by a girl called Mercy who couldn’t do enough for us and was extremely attentive. Would recommend!

This place has so much potential! The food was cooked amazingly. But I have never had such bland food in my life. All the herbs were perfectly blended but the spice? Honestly this could have been a hit. My spice tolerance is low. But this was non existent.

Absolutely amazing service and food, but the best of it all was being greeted by the lovely grace who made us feel instantly welcome and couldn’t do anymore than what she did, definitely recommend.

Firstly, we walked in and met the lovely Grace who was the host, she was very welcoming and started our experience on a high! Our server kerry was attentive and helpful- also very polite. Jk explained the menu to ensure we had the best quality of food that we would like individually- this made our experience! as we told him what we like and he gave us multiple options which fulfilled our needs. Amazing staff, definitely come again.

It was my first time at this restaurant, it was a family gathering..14 of us and it went well, the staff was very helpful and the service was excellent, there were childrens menu which was very good, the children were well looked after. Car parking is available, there's also outside seating areas. There was even a doorman to greet you, looking smartly dressed too. The rest rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. So yes I would recommend this place for a really good night out with a large group as well as for two people. Thank you Nicco you made the event a wonderful experience.

Came in for an impromptu lunch and found the customer service really prompt and friendly. We had the chicken burger and the naanwich, prices weren’t cheap for lunchtime but the portions were big so we thought they were good value for money. All the food was tasty and hot. Would definitely come back again in the future. One small thing is it would be nice for chips to come salted or to have salt on the table so people don’t have to ask.

This restaurant is absolutely brilliant. I have been coming to the restaurant since it opened but now wow the food is impeccable. The restaurant itself has a lovely feel and is decorated extremely well. The staff are really friendly and nice. The bar serves the best lagers you can get, better than a lot of the pubs in Derby. Now onto the food, I have tried at least four different dishes on the last few visits and wow the food is of the highest standards possible. Gorgeous, tasty, cooked with love and good sized portions. This is really fine dining level of food, competing with the likes of Viceroy. If you haven’t been, this is a must for anyone. The best Indian food I would say in the East Midlands at the moment. Ps also great value for money. Update July 24 - looks like Niccos has started slacking. Attended a birthday event and was not impressed. The food has gone down hill from when they first opened, mixed grill average taste but no way value for money. The meat mains were a let down as it’s almost as if the meat has been boiled and then cooked in the masala as the flavours were pretty poor. Drinks are getting more and more expensive. Service was average - with one waitress looking over us all evening! Didn’t feel comfortable. All in all the food needs to get better - not sure if there has been a change in chef but something has caused this decline in standards. The bill approximately £450 with drinks for 15 of us including kids !

Came here with my elderly grandmother. Diana the waitress was brilliant and very helpful. Food perfectly cooked and very tasty. Truffle naan bread particularly memorable.

A fabulous evening in a venue with a really good vibe. Olivia looked after us very well, always smiling and giving back banter. One (tiny) downside was 2 of us ordered calamari which was rubbery(I know, I know, not an Indian dish and Derby is as far from the sea as it's possible to get in the UK). Those dishes were comped and every other item was superb.
