TOO SALTY. I have a high salt tolerance and normally add salt to all my food but this was off the scale. The food arrived quickly after being ordered, and the flavours were great but it was just too salty.

This is our favourite restaurant in Derby! Thanks to Ellie (or Ella) who served us this evening, she was very professional.

Exellent vibe to the whole restaurant, food was fabulous and value for money in my opinion. My wife and I had a fantastic meal at Niccos. We had the butter chicken and handi gosht mains, along with masala chips and a garlic and cheese naan, all of which were excellent. Our waitress Ella was very friendly and attentive. All in all an excellent experience, and we will be visiting again.

Afternoon meet at Nicco’s with friends. They have a great menu, food is delicious, comfortable surroundings.

Wonderfully presented food, restaurant and service. A really interesting fusion menu, with loads of options ranging from small plates to full meals. Plenty of parking makes for a really easy and enjoyable dining experience.

First visit but won’t be the last! Fabulous food, great atmosphere and excellent staff - thanks to Gemma in particular.

We just came it at last minute, as always service / food was great & our server Ella was first class, very polite & a wonderful smile.

The place had a nice atmosphere and the food was fine . A lot of the staff were young and didn’t appear to be trained well . Chatting with each other and not observing their sections . I was a long time trying to get attention for the bill or anything else . Passing plates down a long table when there was plenty of space to put down each plate in front of the diner . I ended up with a battered squid ring on my lap which has left a stain on a silk skirt . It’s the attention to detail that make a restaurant special .

The restaurant and the food is very nice and top notch. I visit here a lot and love the drinks and atmosphere. The managerial and staff service are good. However the last time I visited the experience wasn't great the waitress named Jasmine was very unpleasant, unwelcoming and had a lot of attitude problems. I came with family and friends for drinks at the bar and we was continuously being pressured to buy food and more drinks etc. If we wanted to order food we would of sat in the restaurant. We eneded up buying food because we felt pressured too. She was also gossiping with other staff members and staring at us and we overheard her saying how we wasn't ordering more food and drinks! She was very rude and not once she served us with a smile and had no manners whatsoever! She clearly needs more training in how to deal with customers. Jasmine made our overall experience very unwelcoming and uncomfortable. Wouldn't want her as a waitress again!

This place is a godsend in Derby. Amazing atmosphere and the food is amazing. Celebrated a family birthday here last night and really enjoyed the service - big portions and tasty although the fish curry must have been seasoned twice in error as it was very very salty! Anyway, great place for a party vibe and also for weekend breakfast.

I love this place so much. I have celebrated my last two birthdays here with my friends and the staff is extremely kind and welcoming. There was no wait when arriving and the food was quickly served. Atmosphere is wonderful, however it tends to get quite noisy at peak times.

We just missed breakfast as it is served opted for lunch. The menu has plenty of choice, the Indian Tea was excellent, food as amazing and very tasty. The atmosphere and the service is lovely and our server Vikrant was pleasant and very helpful

Lovely food. Had to wait a long time for it though. Then the waitress reminded us that they needed the table back in 15 mins. Totally unnecessary comment and if the food had been served quicker, we would have left a lot sooner.

It’s a nice place, very very tasty food. The staff are friendly and attentive. We did ask for poppadoms but they never came, which is a first for me. It’s worth a visit.

Soft poppadoms,wrong order, ordered the phall sauce, shocked .£140 wasted of our money in our opinion, never again well overated . If they don't improve go elsewhere in my opinion.
