I visited with friends and family on the 4th June place was nice atmosphere friendly and the food was good with a great selection to choose from on the menu we were served by a lovely lady called Kinga who was able to recommend dishes from the menu, really good service will definitely be returning.

Great restaurant serving tasty authentic Indian meals. A menu with lots of choice to suit every taste. Nelson was an attentive server. Good and drinks came quickly to the table once we had ordered, even though the restaurant was very busy. Already looking forward to my next visit.

This was a great time, food was amazing and spicy, pretty expensive but the service and quality was worth it. Thanks again for the service Paula.

Great place, lovely food, music a bit loud but still enjoyable.

Had a lovely meal for a colleague's leaving party. Extensive menu available and everybody enjoyed their food. The staff were lovely and looked after us well. Only minor downside was how loud the place seemed, but with everything else being on the ball I can't really complain. I would also advise using public transport if possible as the car park was full when we were there.

Over priced for the cheap food they serve Will not be using again

Paula was our waitress today and she was extremely attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my sisters birthday lunch was a delightful experience. The food was tasty with a very short wait and the presentation was on point!

The food was delicious I had the spicy calamari and some masala chips which were very tasty and perfectly spiced. We had Louis serve us and for a young server he was attentive, polite, efficient and engaging. Lovely atmosphere and athletics to the restaurant.

Cameron warmly welcomed us and guided us to our tables with exceptional service. Sienna took care of us throughout the meal, ensuring everything was perfect, while Keelay provided outstanding service from start to finish with our drinks. Each of them made our brunch experience truly special.

We have been several times to Niccos now, and every visit has been fabulous! Today was no exception. This evening, my husband, daughter and I, had a meal in the restaurant at 6pm. The quality of service we received from Gemma, JK and Eddie was phenomenal. Eddie took the time to chat about the 6 years we lived in India, JK was very attentive and Gemma was a Wray of sunshine, and kept checking in on us and chatting with our daughter. The food was delicious and as we told Eddie, is the closest to authentic Indian food we have tasted in the UK. Cannot recommend Niccos highly enough and already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you 😊 🙏

Me and my work colleagues came here today for an retirement celebration. There were 16 of us...I believe? Anyway a big table. Service was fantastic! I am so sorry, I didn't take names. But there was an amazing guy who took our food orders.. and then there a was a young guy, who got us drinks and looked after us. The interaction with the table was great. And the food came out quickly, hot and correct. Nothing was too much trouble. We forgot to order a dish and it was ordered and came quickly. Honestly, the best service I've had in a long time..again..so sorry I didn't take your names! There was also a singer in there, everything was perfect, tasty , relaxing and just a great retirement celebration for a very special work colleague of ours x thanks again xx

A large modern restaurant, Indian with an updated modern take, like Indian wings or Amritsar Fish & Chips....as well as some really tasty curries. Gets full early on a Saturday night, we were glad we'd booked. Lovely friendly service by our Portuguese waitress.

We have been to this restaurant about 8 times now . Tonight we brought friends for their 60 th birthday celebrations. As we first entered we were told they no longer take cash . Luckily I had my card on me , which my partner didn’t . We were seated and all of a sudden a girls started singing extremely loud . We couldn’t hear each other speak . After a few songs thankfully they turned her mic down . We were served starters … How disappointing, 2 soggy dishes of onion bahjis . Always been crispy before And the calamari was so tough to chew . Obviously frozen out of packet for £10 wasted . My husband did enjoy his dish of lamb . Mine and my friends butter chicken tbh was ok , way better tasting in my local takeaway . £15 for approx 1/2 chicken breast cut up , some pieces were tough , like cooked for previously and then just thrown in a sauce . The garlic and cheese nan was nice . But how disappointing this restaurant was for us , after hyping it up to friends . I don’t know what has happened but for the amount of money we paid , we felt our local could have cooked it better and fresher ! So disappointing!

Food and service from staff was fantastic, however the noise from the table next to us kind of tainted the night for us. Nothing bad on the side of the venue however having a large family leave their kids to their own devices with no restraint can be a little (lot) off putting!

Nicco breakfast pre match always excellent - just a suggestion that hot drinks served separate to cold ones as member of staff had both and was bumped into and smashed drinks, felt sorry for waitress also took a long time to get replacements however understand it was v busy. The greeter on the desk think his name was Jamie? Went above and beyond for our group he was very helpful- thank you so much

Amazing experience. Originally went for some beers in the sun and decided to stay for food. The food was excellent and flavoursome. They had a live act on too which made the night very relaxing and enjoyable. Louis our server was brilliant and first came to us outside when he noticed our beers getting low and asked if we wanted more drinks to which he then brought them out to us. We then decided to stay for the food and he continued to serve us. A very polite young man and he was exceptional 👌

Originally reviewed 02/05/25 elsewhere via a link in a follow up 'reservation feedback' email from the restaurant. ------------------------------------------------------------- This was my first visit to Nicco and my review is in two parts - good and bad. The good bits: An excellent dining experience. The restaurant was lively with early evening diners and there was a great atmosphere in the building. All staff members were friendly, helpful and efficient. Drinks arrived without delay and the menu was clear with some very appealing dishes tempting us. Our choices were delivered to table promptly, looked delicious and tasted even better. Staff members periodically checked that everything was OK but were not overbearing. Additional drinks arrived quickly and nothing was too much trouble. The bill was settled easily (this is a cashless facility) at the end of the evening and we departed very impressed. My 5-star ratings relate to the in-restaurant dining experience. The bad bit: Car parking. Beyond awful. The car park is simply not big enough to reflect the demand for tables and given the location of the restaurant on what is a large business park, there is nowhere for overflow traffic to park. I was eventually able to secure a space, purely by being in the right place at the right time when another guest was leaving but that was down to timing and luck, and I had arrived only a few minutes ahead of my booking time. It took 10-15 minutes from pulling into the car park to walking into the restaurant, which isn't good enough. Seriously, I think Nicco needs to find solutions to this problem because the lack of available parking would be the single biggest inhibitor to me returning to dine here again, particularly as I live outside the city without adequate public transport in my neighbourhood. My colleague who was dining with me had the same poor experience on his arrival. Perhaps Nicco should investigate entering into finding agreements with neighbouring businesses where possible to use their car parks as overspill facilities out of normal business hours. Granted, there might be insurance and other reasons why this might not be possible but it must be worth exploring. I'd be prepared to pay an extra couple of quid as this would be preferable to not being able to park at all and aborting the visit altogether. Alternatively, as in booking a table, perhaps booking a car parking spot could be investigated, although I accept not all patrons attending would book in advance, making this concept difficult to police. In summary, I think without addressing the significant car parking problems, Nicco might become a victim of its own success....which would be a great shame as it is a great dining experience.

Surjeet is a great chef! Dal makhani at Nicco’s is incredibly authentic and delicious. Reminds me of Delhi. Kudos to him. Louis is brilliant and bright. He recommended amazing drinks and was very helpful. All in all good team at Nicco’s. Had a wonderful experience

We visited last night for our first experience with friends and we were not dissapointed. The warm welcome, our waitress Mercy was so lovely, polite and helpful. Food was amazing!! So tasty and good portion sizes. Plenty of choice on the menu and drinks menu also. Great atmosphere, live music it was quite loud but it was ok as we were not having to shout at each other to talk. The team worked like clockwork all over the restaurant which was very busy. A real credit to the restaurant. Thank you, we will definitely be back..

My partner and I went on Friday and we were attended to by Fern! She was incredibly sweet, attentive and gave a great recommendation. I liked the food and the drinks, the restaurant was rather noisy but other than that service was A1.

This resturant has such a friendly and warm atmosphere, where the lovely team go out of their way to make each experience special. The food is exemplary. A stunning late evening dinner at Nicco Bar and Restaurant Pride Park, the lamb and spinach with a Roti side was soooo good, perfect with the mango Lassi. Service was exceptional many thanks to all, and in particular, Ella, perfect service, non intrusive but completely attentive all the dishes and drinks appeared and disappeared just at the right time with no fuss and impeccable manners thanks again

Service was extremely poor. We were seated at 8.15pm and at this time, the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy. Our server, whilst pleasant, seemed to lack experience. When we asked for a couple of extra minutes to decide on drinks, she looked flummoxed and said “Oh OK.” When our starters came out, one item was missing. No one came to check how our food was in a timely manner, so we couldn’t tell them about the missing item. It was also difficult to catch someone’s eye from where we were seated. Eventually our waitress came to clear the table of our starters (we had finished them a while ago) and asked us whether we wanted to see the dessert menu! At this point, we hadn’t even had the mains. We waited… and waited and waited some more or our food. Nobody approached us and I eventually managed to catch the eye of our waitress and request the bill. As lovely as the mains might have been, it simply wasn’t worth waiting for (if the order had indeed been put through). Our waitress brought the bill and I checked through it - the mains were still on there. I informed the waitress that we hadn’t received our mains - she looked shocked and queried it. At this point, the whole thing was getting ridiculous, especially as the waitress had been the last one to clear our table! She went off, then came back and asked if we would like the mains boxed up to go or taken off the bill. I asked for it to be taken off the bill. She came back and presented us with the bill and then we waited and waited for her to come back with the card reader. Although the food was nice, the service was far too poor and disjointed to be able to recommend this place or return.

Gemma was an amazing waitress that made me feel welcome and happy in the restaurant the whole time I was there. She was great at small talk and happy throughout the time I spent at Niccos. Gemma definitely deserves a raise, she was an amazing person and I really hope she gets a pay upgrade because she is well-deserved of it.

Today was my first time at Nicco. Louis was our server, he was very attentive and accommodating. The food I had was the chicken tikka naanwich which I would highly recommend, very tasty and filling. I’ll certainly be coming back to try more!!
