The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Not enough sauce given. Only received 3 small pots for 4 meals.

On holiday and got a takeaway from here . Definitely some of the best curries we've had (partner is fussy ). Highly recommend if in area .

I ate in the restaurant.Best Indian food I had in recent times in the UK. Biryani and Noodles are top notch. Mango lassi was good. Although the ambience and look of the building is not great , the food is amazing- on par with good Indian East ham restaurants I would say. Definitely reminded me of Hyderabad.

Excellent food. Loved the balti and the murghi. Our son scoffed all his korma so it must have been good. Service efficient and friendly. Reasonable prices. Recommended.

A lovely meal. Great choice of curries. Goa and Tamrind lamb curries were both very good. Staff very friendly and attentive. Kingfisher and Cobra on draught too. Always very busy so best to book.

Having been here before I booked for a group of WI girls. Unfortunately a few went down with a bug before the event so only seven ended up going. I felt awful but the waiter was absolutely fabulous. We then proceeded to have one of the best Indians I've had in a long time. The food was totally amazing. Service was exceptional and they couldn't have been nicer all be it only half of us turned up. So thankyou Cardomom Bay we will definitely return in greater numbers next time.

From the moment we walked in we were made very welcome. For a thursday night there was a good number of people already eating. Didnt have to wait too long for food to start turning up. Place was very clean and food was immaculate. We will certainly be returning next time we are in The Lakes. Cant recommend this place enough

Came across this place on Tuesday evening and what a gem! The service was great, the inside of the restaurant os modern, clean and has a lovely vibe.....prices were very reasonable and the curry was one of the best I have had....I am in the area mostly and now have found my go to curry place! Thanks guys, see you next month

We went there with a group of friends & have to say just how lovely the food was. Started with a salmon tandoor dish followed by their king prawns cooked with ginger & coriander I am quite fussy when it comes to eating prawns, so when I asked the waiter what exactly they are like & how big they ate, he did no more than go get one to show wine! So a lovely meal, excellent service and very good atmosphere, so would def recommend this place.

We drove over to meet a Friend never been before I've had Lots of indian over the years but here was just Amazing Food and you can take your own drink so impressed !Will defo be going Again just such Lovely Vibe there and attentive staff Loved it 😍

We were staying nearby and found this lovely restaurant at the quay. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. Also the staff were very polite and attentive. We would definitely eat there again! Would recommend to anyone! Comfortable dining.

Absolutely amazing Indian street food. Really tasty fresh portions. The staff were really friendly and helpful, as this was our first time here. Definitely would come again and we would definitely recommend it to others,

First timer. Service was excellent. Fairly decent atmosphere. Menu is decent. Some of the food was good, but some of the curries were strangely quite bland. Good parking and conveniently located near the station.

Amazing experience with excellent food and service. Yatin was excellent attending to us and Priya was excellent in doing the cocktails. Aryen was brilliant as manager. We had chicken biryani with aubergine and rionali roti. Umer who also served us was amazing. Real alt recommend to pay a visit.
