The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Wasn't sure what to expect due to the AA rosettes and inclusion in Michelin guide. I wasn't disappointed - great tastes, fresh herbs and spices and good texture. The Jalfrezi and Ostrich starter were the standout dishes. The chutneys were a little disappointing. So, was it better than my normal 'go to' restaurants? Probably not, but definitely worth a visit.

Delicious food, quick service, and kind staff. Our waiter, Nayem, was very attentive and helpful! Would recommend to a friend!

Very upset with today my online delivery order i ordered by 09:18PM and then i keep waiting until 10:50PM by 10:52PM i call the restaurant simply i get an ans to cancel my order without thinking that midnight i where to order the food and where to i go and get the food for my family

The first thing that struck us about the Indian Tiffin Room was the overpowering floral scent, and it wasn't from fresh flowers. The scent was most unpleasant and I don't know why it would be necessary, since the aroma from herbs and spices in this kind of establishment is usually enticing. The second thing that struck us, was the strange noises that seemed to eminate from the sound system. We had no idea what they were or what they brought to the atmosphere. That said, the food was good and the service friendly. The prices are reasonable and there was a good choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

¿Pedí una entrega en línea y no tenían nada de lo que pedí? Pedí 10 bocados de pollo y nuggets de pollo con 3 batidos Oreo... Me enviaron una hamburguesa de pollo, aros de cebolla, alitas de pollo y papas fritas con 3 batidos. ¿Cuando llamé dijeron que no tenían nada de lo que pedí en stock? Así que en lugar de llamarme y avisarme me dieron una orden al azar sin saber si soy alérgico a algo o nada. Cosas absolutamente impactantes, nunca ordenes desde aquí

Ordered just before 10pm on a Sunday, site says 11pm closing time and opted for cash on delivery, Restaurant accepted the order via email. Sat and waited for food until just after 11, rang the restaurant and the phones rang out. Went to divert and they rang out. Don't take an order if your not gonna fulfill it, if you have doubts by all means ring and make contact but to not send food after accepting and then not make contact is very poor

I've given you a rubbish review on atmosphere as the delivery guy handed over the curry, I gave him the tip, but honestly the atmosphere was, at best, transactional. V polite but I wouldn't saythere was an atmosphere. But Sweet Jesus the chicken Balti was an absolute triumph. First and foremast, your FSA rating (5* when I last checked) but you guys have got it. This was superb.

Ate here last Wednesday, and it was a massive let down. First we had to ask glasses for our drinks The one starter arrived minus any cutlery, the other starter arrived after I had eaten mine. This was quickly followed by my main meal, We asked for condiments and sauce/dips only to be told, that the choice was either chilli sauce or ketchup, no mango chutney or anything like that. My meal arrived minus the chips, and instead of a mild chicken tikka, I ended up with the spicy version, which for me was inedible. My wife's meal arrived 10 minutes later and was a very sloppy butter chicken, which she dunked a couple of her chips in, so she had something to eat. The best of it was there was us and another couple in the restaurant, and they had the same issues as us. For something which I was looking forward too, was an utter farce and £40 worse off. I definitely will not be going back even if it was free.

We came here for lunch on my last day in the office and I wish we'd discovered this place sooner. Excellent food, good veggie options, pleasant waiter. Also nice 'Ginger Rogers' drink. Cleaned the plate.
