DO NOT GO HERE IT IS CLOSE, all the online information is incorrect. No one answer the phone and no info online,very upset when we got here.

We visited to celebrate a birthday and based on the reviews were excited to try the food. The venue is lovely and the staff were very attentive. The starters were good, especially the samosa chaat. The mains were average. Whilst the meat was good quality, the curries lacked flavour which left the table disappointed. In addition, the waitress recommended a vegetarian dish that we were told was the best dish in the menu. When it arrived it was way too hot for us to eat. We brought this to the waitress' attention and thought the dish would be replaced but it wasn't. We were only offered some yogurt to accompany the dish. At this price point I expected much more. We ended up leaving a lot of the food which was such a waste.

Tried contacting this business repeatedly through the week. Have eventually visited the restaurant on open hours advertised and it's closed

Food was clearly frozen and reheated in microwave. Horrible food as it was but the service was worse. Only thing I can recommend here is to avoid.

worst place to visit I would strongly recommend to go someplace else or rather just cancel your plans as its totally not worth going there

This Indian is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The service was excellent but wow the food was incredible. The tastes of the starter followed by tender, lamb steaks were to die for. Marinated in an abundance of spices they just melted away. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

Unreal food and though I only drank the beer, I would recommend to start a night out there Great drinks available. 10/10

Came here to celebrate a family birthday, the staff were friendly the food was a good quality and portion size. The decor inside was nice, my only issue was that it was very cold as the heating wasn't working. Was given some small heaters but with a large group was still cold. Would still recommend

What a place as we celebrated my granddaughter birthday and the food was absolutely fantastic and tasty, Staff were very helpful and friendly but it was cold and needs the heating system to be working.

This restaurant is amazing. From the moment we walked in we were greeted with pleasant smiles. The staff were very attentive from start to finish. I enjoyed every meal that we ordered. I have a weakness for sweetness and so as full as I was, I had to order my favourite desert (Baileys cheesecake and strawberry ice-cream). The Baileys cheesecake...yummy, so good. Tonight my family and I walked more than a mile in search of Indiana Bar and Grill. The first thing I noticed was how spacious it is. The second thing I noticed was the spicy aroma which permeated the air. The starters were great, especially the lollipop chicken, the papadom chicken, and the crispy Bhajiya. For dinner I had lamb bhuna, and my sister curry chicken and garlic rice. For dessert strawberry ice cream, and Bailey’ Cheesecake. All for less than one hundred pounds. Indiana is own by a family who put their hearts and souls in every gain of rice they cook, with healthy spices for the body. Please visit them for the best tasting Indian food in Leicestershire.

Had the veg platter for two & was really nice. They chilli paneer is absolutely amazing.

We went for birthday treat. The food was so nice. Bit expensive but the food was tasty. For starter we ordered Indo Chinese mogo and sisslers.

Zero atmosphere, we walked in and no staff was to be seen. The place itself smelt bad but we sat down anyway because we didn't want to be rude. Waiter came over with the menus at that point, I felt like I needed to be sick, he genuinely smelt so bad of sweat thay it put us right of even ordering food and we had to leave. Hygiene possibly needs a check

Quick to take the order. Drinks took about 15 minutes to come. only ordered 2 waters a coke and a beer. The main meal was a major disappointment. Lamb garlic curry was awful. strong taste of lemon/ citrus . never tasted a lamb curry like this. Butter chicken curry was average. best thing was the naan bread fresh and soft. Mens toilets only one, wet floor, toilet did not flush. dryer did not work no tissues. Ove priced. Would not recommend. Plenty of nice places to eat in Leicester. Thought i’d try somewhere new.

We got so excited about trying this place. However we didn't even get to the food, walked in and place didn't smelt very nice but we let it go and still sat down. Waiter came over to give us menus and that's when we without hesitation made the decision to leave. The smell of sweat was unreal, I can't even imagine how unhygienic that is for someone thay would be serving our food.

Overall, a great experience yet again! Delicious food, great atmosphere and impeccable service! Thanks team Indiana!!

As a group of village friends we visit a different curry restaurant every month or so. I booked for 11 of us to go to Indiana Bar and Grill for the first time. Very varied choices but all of the party enjoyed excellent food and first class service. Can highly recommend.

We came here twice during a week while touring the East Midlands. I loved my two curries. The portions were huge and the taste delicious. My companion didn't much like his meal on the first visit, leaving much of it uneaten. When we returned he had a different dish, which he liked. I thought the service was both attentive and cheerful.

Firstly, apologies to the owners for not having got past murgh makhani and a kheema naan but they are both the best I have had hence why I keep going back. The food here is good.

This is on personal experience. Excellent food,service, and good ambient. 7 people, average per person, around £19.00 for starters and mains excluding drinks. Highly recommended.

Food was brilliant, completely exceeded our expectations. Their rustic masala fries are the best I’ve had at any restaurant. The masala fish was absolutely delicious full of flavour, crispy on the outside very soft inside. Their methi paneer was great, and their vegetable pulao was full of veg and flavour. My partner and dad shared a mixed grill, they were very pleased with the flavours. Everything is very flavoursome not bland like many other restaurants and not overly oily or greasy. I’m a big daal makhani fan, again 10/10 for their daal makhani. Everything felt of good quality and the portion size is great value for money. Honestly everything was great I can’t fault anything, we will definitely be visiting/ordering again. Many thanks to the chef - everybody left feeling more than satisfied.

Went last week for dinner and the food was sumptuous especially the biryani. Staff are so lovely as well. Will definitely go back.

Food and service were great! Me and my girlfriend had a good time after having drinks out in Leicester. Must try the desi cocktails, they really topped off our night. Naan was fresh and everything came out hot. Would recommend!

Food was incredible. Vikram and his team were amazing. They were helpful in assisting me and my family with deciding what we should order. We went for a couple non-veg dishes, rice and naan. I’d definitely swing by again but this time bring some friends.

Zero service. staff don't know anything. i asked something and they give me something. when i call him and request to change it he started telling me our chef will angry on us so please eat this next time i will give you one extra plate. he don't know how to speak the dishes name as well. i asked regarding for 1-2 curry he said i don't know sorry ma'am. disgusting staff ever. price was so high but in service it's zero zero zero.

I went here with my wife while in the UK, and the food was very good. The service was exceptional; attentive without being invasive. But even better than these things were the drinks, which were fantastically balanced, innovative, without being kitschy. If I am ever in Leicester again, I will definitely come again.

Delicious food, tasted like it was fresh from India, very flavoursome. Staff were wonderful. Young girls on the table next to us told us they visit every week, just to eat the biryani. I would recommend the Papdi chat, chilli paneer, masala fish and rustic cheesy chips. Lovely décor and ambience too! Will definitely be going again with family next time!

The restuarant itself was nice but the food and service was not great. Found most of the food very bland and flavourless, the lamb chops were half decent. The staff were very polite but when it came to ordering our drinks they always seemed to bring half the order meaning we had to reorder the rest again which happened every time. For the price you are paying and the look of the place you would expect a lot more but in all honesty its a below average restaurant that i wouldnt visit again.

Best thali they do In the lunch time we have visited 3-4 times and tried the starter and the thali it is very delicious and the staff is very friendly

A go to place for North Indian dishes and excellent service..

The service from the start to when we were leaving was honestly the best I have ever received. The food didn’t take long at all to come out. The food was soo fresh and amazing. Will defo be coming down to eat a few times.

Overhyped place … £4 for Nan…don’t know what the owners are thinking!!! It’s over priced and wouldn’t recommend it. Had to leave and give my custom elsewhere.. The lunchtime menu looks more appealing than the evening menu…

Maz the waitress was amazing soo attentive and helpful and kind. Very welcoming and made us feel soo comfortable. She was great!!!!!!!!

The thali wasn’t good at all the onion Bhaji was raw from inside wasn’t cooked properly the gravy on the side wasn’t that great either wouldn’t go again had a bad stomach after eating the food

The food was ok. Nothing out of this world. The tandoori chicken was a bit disappointing. The lamb curry was nice and the garlic naan alright. Service is good and the prices are somewhat fair, but I'm not sure if I'll be paying a visit as i wasn't impressed.

Very friendly staff, nice decor of the restaurant but was cold inside ?no heating. Cocktails were nice and quality of the meat was very good, but lamb rogan josh and chicken saag far too spicy. We also ordered a vegetarian dish - Subz Kolhapur which was highly recommended by the staff, but was over powered with chillies. FAR TOO HOT! Yoghurt was given, but dish was still unbearable and had to be left. At a minimum this dish should've been removed from the bill, but it was not.

Very nice restaurant, lovely staff the food is amazing but tbh prices are high if we speak about one naan it is £4 so it mean two Naans are nearly price of one dish the rest everything is great

We came here when it first opened, and it was totally worth it. The experience was wonderful in every way, including the lovely food. Definitely suggest visiting this restaurant for a lovely meal or a dining experience with friends. I will go back because it is impressive.

Went out for dinner to Indiana with a friend, the restaurant had a great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and approachable from start to finish. The menu had an array of choices meeting all requirements. We opted for the poppadum starter which came with 4 delicious dips- the mango dip was very addictive! Moving on, i particularly enjoyed the masala prawns which had just the right amount of spice and were bursting with flavour. They were also cooked perfectly. For our main dish, we had the lamb karahi which had tender pieces of lamb and a sumptuous sauce. The egg fried rice was a great addition and complimented the curry. This is the authentic taste of India that Leicester has been missing. I will definitely be making many trips back again with more friends and family. A true reflection of Indian cooking!

Can’t rate highly enough. The portions are huge but they are also really tasty. They come piping hot. The service was amazing. Pleasant atmosphere. We were given plenty of time between courses for chat and to allow our food to go down which we needed due to the size of the portions! No rush off the table The prices are brilliant especially for a city restaurant

Heard there was a new indian restaruant that had opened, so me and the family went to check it out. Firslty the decor is amazing and the food was 10/10. Good size portions for both starterd and mains. The staff were lovely and very welcoming....

We always miss the actual Indian taste in Indian restaurants here in Leicester and thankfully Indiana is here! Vikram and his team are so friendly , we had a great chat yesterday evening; they do cater to your palate. Huge shoutout to Pandit ji, the chef - man behind all the magic. The cocktail Desi Rita is a must try! Both vegetarian and non vegetarian food was delicious, well cooked and made us nostalgic about food back in Delhi’s restaurants 🧡

Amazing food! The best Indian food I’ve had - lovely and spicy, so fresh, large portions. They kindly gave us containers so we could take it with us. Great service - the owner was friendly and came and had a chat with us. Would definitely be returning. Highly recommend.
