Masalas in Leicester

Honestly the BEST Indian food you could ever have! Let's just say I've been spoilt & if I go to an Indian restaurant with friends it's never come close to Masalas! Best in the midlands bar none!

Extreme disappoinment 😳😳😳😳 I ordered the lamb hariyali and mixed kebab. Mixed kebab full of red colour and hariyali with extreme green colour. Is this much food colour permitted ? I swear, never again 🫵🫵🙏🙏🙏🙏

This has to be the best takeaway I have ever eaten in my life. It's surely going to win awards for quality and taste. My favourite is the spicy butter chicken+madras level spice! You need to order from here, trust me you will LOVE IT!!!

Ordered Chicken Korma, Tikka Paneer, Naan Breads and Rice. The Naans were the only thing with any flavour. Both the curries were watery and lacked any depth of flavour. Not what you expect when you spend nearly £30 on a meal.

I recently ordered from masala via justeat and was extremely disappointed with the experience. The delivery took a whopping two hours to arrive, which is unacceptable. To make matters worse, when the food finally did arrive, it was only lukewarm. The starters were particularly disappointing – they were completely tasteless and lacked any sort of seasoning or flavor. I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. I won't be ordering from here again.

I ordered food through Deliveroo the guy on the bike delivered the food to me cold and spilled into a bag.. disgusting

Absolutely disgusting service we have used them for years we ordered 2 tandoori chicken starters and they bought one they promised us it next time we order again and they say they no nothing about it,we ordered again spent £44 and no mint yogurt or chopped salad you ring them up and they say you have to pay for it now disgusting I will never use them again

Ordered a delivery from Masalas and great service from the polite kind driver who delivered our food way before than expected- nice and hot too- bonus - food ordered was butter chicken mild for the kids - plain nans and spicy butter chicken & chicken biriyani - i cannot express how delicious all of the food was - we even got extra butter sauce which is a mums dream as we can freeze this and make it when we want some - thank u so much very grateful from chetna and my kids - look forward to ordering again in the future :)

WOW! WOW! WOW!!!! This restaurant never fails to produce absolutely outstanding food every time! From the fantastic Nan breads, crisp crunchy poppadums, delicious dips and incredible curries they get 100% every time. Ordering via their app is easy and delivery is swift. Food arrives hot every time. What we wanted was chicken dupiaza and chicken tinderloo but was we accidentally ordered was veggie option for both and do you know what, I’m so glad that accident happened! Veggie curries is something I’d never think of ordering when getting a takeaway but these were fantastic! Full of veg and potatoes and plenty of sauce to mop up with your Nan bread! Thanks Masala’s - we will be back again. And again. And again!

Ordered a curry this evening and really disappointed. It arrived quickly but the food was rubbish. The Chicken Rezala had no lamb in it and no taste. Won’t be ordering again

The best Indian takeaway in Leicester. The food is consistently excellent and the delivery from their own drivers are very quick.

10/10! I ordered my food around 30 minutes prior from Just Eat and my food was delivered instantly. I wasn't expecting the food to be quick. I ordered chicken tikka masala meal (with included pilal rice and naan), x3 poppadoms and mint dip for me and my 3 kids. It filled us up and there was plenty to go round, the portion sizes are generous. Not the first time I have ordered from this takeaway and I've never been disappointed with their food over the years. Always tasty and up to scratch. Best of all, the food was delivered HOT.

Always order my king prawn biryani from here, introduced it to the wife and she loves her food spicy, when I asked Raf make sure it's spicy wife loves, not only did they make it spicy but the flavour it let's off its incredible, only few places can pull that off and this is one of them. Best take away by far in leicester, keep it up

absolutely discusting, lumpy overcooked watery rice, bland curry, soggy undercooked chips, burnt onion blajis and pink chicken!!!

Outstanding and fast delivery, one of the tastiest and most delicious curries I’ve ever had will definitely be ordering again soon highly recommend 10/10

Piping hot food. Great delivery. The quality of the food not so great. The alu gobi was not quite a large size. The large container was half full and comprised mainly of potatoes. Not that great tasting either. The tarka daal was very salty. The lemon rice turned out to be plain rice. The garlic herb naan was very good. The chips were soso. For the price I don't think it was worth it so most likely not ordering again.

The curry, rice and naan was very nice. Only thing that was off ws the poppadoms, they tasted stail and was chewie. But for the mains I would order again

No matter what this restaurant has never let me down with food quality or timing. So many dishes are cooked to perfection and I would never go anywhere else. Infact this place goes above and beyond to make sure my experience is a pleasant one. You HAVE to try if you haven’t. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I have been using Masalas for 5 years. Every meal I've had has been top quality, hot and delivered with care. A varied menu to everyone's tastes and I never get bored of going back to old favourites or trying something new. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice place but to much time waiting

All mains were incorrect give completely different dishes also just what should have been a vegetarian meal was also sent as a meat dish and also mix up the rice.

Some items were missing from the order. When I contacted them they apologised and said they would send the missing items. 15 mins later and now with cold food we still didn’t have the missing items. The takeaway phoned me, and asked if I wanted the missing items sending out or did I want a refund. Given that it was now 20mins since our order arrived I asked for a refund. Apparently for a refund I have to contact Just eat, which I did but I’ve still not received any money back, so I ended up paying for cold and missing food. Really not very happy at all. Appalling service.

The delivery driver actually found our house, which is rare. He was polite and on time. The food was well labelled and packaged so it was easy to dish up and it was hot and tasty. Generous portions too. Very pleased

I ordered from here because they won an award but the lamb curry was awful it was very sweet and I am a diabetic.The kababs weren't very good and neither were the chicken wings

Food was tasty with good portions, mixed biryani was brilliant, only drawback was the naan bread I was expecting them to be freshly made but seems like readymade.

I have to say that Masalas is the best curry that I've ever ordered and I've ordered hundreds! So much flavour and I would recommend to anyone. In fact I'm going to order another one this evening.

This is our go to Indian the dishes are always 10/10. Only downside is the popadoms are always soggy/stale by the time they get to us. Might be how they are transported. Either way it would be great if they came up with something to prevent this as it happens every time.

This is definitely our new favourite Indian restaurant along with Alyston Spice! Stale chips and poppadoms, but everything else was decent.

Never had a bad meal from here before and I have a few, but today was not good, my chicken chaat wasn’t that at all completely different taste and look to what it is usually, rice very bland, also was stone cold when arrived had to put in microwave

Not had a curry for a while as always works out expensive when ordering just yourself but these done a good all in deal for like £18 , choice of starter curry rice and nan stick some chips aswell £20.50 Bosh was lovely lamb jal was beautiful. I'll definitely be back . Cheers thanks tar

Absolutely superb food, best curry around.

I've ordered from here before and enjoyed it, I would say this time the naan bread was quite flavourless and the poppadoms were over done which is a shame as usually taste is amazing.

Food generally tastes good however, the only slight negative is that the roll was a bit dry. Option of a sauce in this would be great.

As a returning customer, I have ordered from Masalas a few times now. I have been very happy with the quality of the meals ordered, and the timings of their delivery service. This occasion is no exception and yet again my order arrived hot and was very enjoyable. I will without a doubt be ordering from Masalas again. Always delivered hot and nearly always early. Great food

Ordered chicken tikka masala and lamb tikka masala, mixed starter, onion bhajis and naan breads. The meat sizes were smaller and about 6 pieces and the lamb was quite firm, not soft. My daughter phoned me in the morning; all 3 of them had severe diahorrea and sore bottoms, Imodium did not even touch it. I had stomach cramps all day. I will not be ordering from here again.

Curry was below standard expected and non was just cold and like cardboard! Dissatisfied customer.
