Pepperzzz in Leicester

The food was very good .service poor .limited makes of drinks at the bar .Attitude of manager very poor.Don't care attitude. Had a funation for holy Communium for over 25 people.Food was excellent freshy cooked .Had issues with manager at the end who refused to accommodate the customer .All staff was very good .Manager not aware of the saying "customer is always right ,will not be going there again plenty of other places in Leicester .will be advising other people not to go there in the future .

The food is very good and enjoys in this restaurant I would recommend this to others. The breakfast here is delicious.

Went to have a meal with my work colleagues, the food there for starts was exceptional, the employees were excellent and dealt with everything we asked for, the environment felt very welcoming and overall a great experience.

We had a Diwali get together and were offered private room and the food was out of the world. Exceeding our expectation we have been treated very nicely with fresh, hot and tasty food. Music with lights is an add in feature of our party which everyone enjoyed to the fullest. And lastly but not Least service of staff is excellent and you shall not be let down by anything. For a perfect family party food, service , parking and top class ambience is being offered so this place is must come visit.

I would like to say that me and my partner are regular customers at pepperzzz and they never fail to surprise me with how amazing their food is, its really fresh. The staff are really polite and friendly. They have a private function that allows you to plan any event and it's at a reasonable price. I would highly recomend as its one of the top restaurants in Leicester.

Ordering food from this restaurant for approximately two years and also dining regularly at this place, I can tell food is always amazing and fresh. Real taste of India especially their butter chicken, kheema and biryani.Their hospitality and customer service is world class.

I like the way food was presented for buffet as it separates veg and non veg. The options for the starters are enough. Food was very good in taste.

The Chicken Tikka and Chicken Biriyani were amazing. Will be ordering that again! The Chicken Karai was not great imo. Will need to try the lamb and maybe the kheema. Oh and they do Rubicon Passion. 👍

Had a Just Eat Delivered for a Saturday night-in to enjoy an Indian takeaway whilst watching TV at home after a long day out travelling. Very disappointed on this occasion as when the food (large sizzler + Curry) was delivered...the entire contents was oily and leaked out of the foil tray container as rather than keeping it flat in the bag it was kept long ways and hence all the oil had leaked out of the brown bag and into the outer white plastic carrier bag!!! This made the full Salad bag, Naan Bag and Curry container all messy and ewww oily!! Food didn’t arrive till a good one and a half hours after ordering! Found the food very appalling cos of the messy delivery and found the food at room temperature rather than a hot food delivery. We have eaten at the restaurant on several occasions and found the service very slow as the staff are too busy with the Just Eat takeaway orders but forget about the customers sitting in the restaurant waiting for table service, very annoying when all orders were bought in bits and drabs and having to ask for Naans when curry has arrived. Hope Pepperzzz improve on their services as we have enjoyed the food at the restaurant in the past. Found the delivery guy very rude as he is asking if we’ve paid for our Just Eat Takeaway when he should know that online orders are always paid whilst placing the order (including delivery charge and for using credit card admin fee).. . I don’t think I’ll bother with home delivery in future from here , not when the food is delivered in a badly placed trays in the bag.

I like this place it has a separate food section for meat eaters and vegetarian I like that good food friendly service and clean

Firstly, i would like to start by saying how wonderful the Pepperzzz staff are. They are friendly, attentive and care about their guests very much!

Had my kids party on the 27 April 2019. The place is clean and the side hall is adequate for a party of up to 40 people. There is a good buffet and the buffet has a selection of vegetarian and non veg food. Perhaps the selection could be broadened further and and a keener eye on food levels would not go amiss. The food was delicious and it has to be the best buffet around Leicester. The staff are pleasant and certainly accommodating and on several occasions were helpful. The bar selection is quiet good but not so for the non alcoholic drinker, one non alcoholic drink would be all that was required. Overall I enjoyed the night and would book again!!

Went to Pepperzzz after hearing from friends and colleagues about the excellent buffet on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. Priced at only £12!! Had not booked a table, went however they were fully booked. Left my number and they had a cancellation so called me back.

The food and atmosphere was great, as well as a dedicated staff who were friendly and executed each demand with care and speed. Also, the buffet options were diverse and the overall price was cheap (drinks were extra though!). However, I ask that you please get WiFi, since many millennials require free wifi.

Brilliant indo-Chinese food certainly the best in the uk I have tried many. The Indian food is certainly the best in Leicester hands down. The service could be better but the food makes up for any other negatives

We threw a surprise party for our mother who turned 75. There was excellent service, the food was delicious, there was a brilliant atmosphere throughout the whole night and the service was very professional! We would love to throw another party there again another time!

We celebrated my husband's 60th birthday here and we were looked after really well. We had the buffet and it was delicious! Cooked fresh and topped up with hot food regularly. Good variety to suit all taste.

The name says it all. It is a really good restaurant and I would highly recommend. Me and my family were rather than happy with the food, i especially would recommend the Indo Chines it was scrumptious.The staff were all very welcoming with big smiles on their faces at all times. we went there more than once and we will continue going there as the food was tasty and fresh. The prices were reasonable so as the portions.

We've been making more regular visits at this restaurant because my kids love it there, what makes Very Good stand out from other similar places is the quality of the food, which is consistently great - big portions of tasty Indian food at a very reasonable prices.The staff are very friendly and i would like to add that our waitress Kika was amazing and made sure that we are happy with the service. We've also pre-booked the party room for my daughters 8th b-day with a buffet. The room was big enough as my daughter invited most of her friends alongside with the family. I totally recommend.

This place is a rip off!! They charge crazy prices for drinks and the food ugh don’t even get me started on that absoultely taste less. I would never go there back again and neither would i reccommend it to anyone. However, the staff are lovely hence why the one star otherwise it would be 0

This restaurant used to be great . Not sure if owners switched but this place has gone down the hill. I am very disappointed I used to love this place. Service is not attentive, walked in with family, waiters were passing by and not even one was ready to come to sit us down , finally the lady working behind the bar had to come out asked us if we booked the table then checked the booking list , apologized and sat us down, felt very sorry for her as she was busy working on bar. Not sure for how long they will survive if they will not improve the service, however i have to say the lady behind the bar who works there for some time now is very good , she is very attentive and truly gives her best, she is the only one who cares for customers. The rest of the staff is a joke, Please improve your service because this is the only thing that holds you back from becoming the most popular restaurants in Leicester, your food is amazing.

Booked the restaurant through their app very easily weeks in advance as had a show to go to nearby.

The pops were a little stale and we only had 2 dips, the starter was pretty good and my Crispy Honey Lamb was very nice my wife had the Butter Chicken this was tasty but a little concentrated they need to water the sauce down a tad it got over baring after a while. The service and staff was good and the price ok so all in all not bad.

This is my go to place for Indo chinese and their butter chicken is to die for! My only quibble would be that the waitressing needs improving otherwise the owner is very courteous.

Went to this placed after my mother suggested it based on price. Most times when at this price the food is not up to standards but I was surprised.

Came here as I had the time while in the area and was suitably satisfied with the food on offer. All of it was tasty and for a buffet it was very well priced. The only thing letting it down was the service, it seemed to lack any real direction and the staff didn't seem happy.

I been to pepperzz with my friends about a week ago.the food was amazing and one young beautiful white girl served us she was very nice. Definatly will come again to see her and try other dishes.

Just been to pepperzzz for my Birthday dinner and the whole family enjoyed the food. Especially as they can pick and choose what they want to eat, Vegetarian or Non Veg. Service was excellent from staff very attentive. Definitely recommend it.

Absolutely atrocious customer service. Its terribly disgusting and the worst ever. We didn't eat there but my husband and family went to enquire for my sons first birthday after a couple of family recommendations and decent price offer. He came back saying he had never seen such worse customer service to arrange a booking for a party. We weren't even bothered about a discount seeing as their prices were good but they couldn't have been less accommodating. They say there business is slow and I can understand why! Never going there again

Went with my kids and parents. Starters arrived but no cutlery or chutneys. Asked for cutlery and waitress said she'd be with us shortly. Waited 15 mins whilst waitress walked around drinking glass of soft drink. Main meal arrived but no plates. Finally son went to counter to ask for plates and cutlery - got told to get some from buffet counter. Food was good so went to pay and told owner that as regulars, service was way below par. We were told that they were short staffed so I suggested that it may be an idea to inform customers that service may be slow. That got the owner cross and he came right up to my face and asked if I expected money off. Also started pointing his finger in my sons face. My son moved away and the man followed him so I shouted to the man to back off. I flung my money to settle bill and left. BTW they only accept cash so be aware. No fault with food but service - atrocious and as regulars, sorry but you have lost my custom for good!

Well the whole experience wasn't a one star terrible memory but still...the owners shouold invest in REAL waiters and waitresses, the ones who work there can hardly speak English and have NO SKILLS AT ALL. Nobody said hello when we came in, didn't expalin how the buffet works etc etc. Another thing, it's open from 5.30 we were there at 6 but buffet was ready at 6.30. Food was average. Lastly, they have no baby change facility so I just changed my baby on the bench next to my table. You could tell the owners save money on everything.

Went for Saturday night buffet. Service is slow or non-existent. No-one to welcome you on entering (they actually stood afar and stared at us). 20 mins before anyone came to ask for drinks order.

I had heard good things about Pepperzzz so decided to try it out.

We go regularly and get great food all the time. The decor is great and the staff are alway friendly and knowledgable. Would definitely recommend.

We booked in advance for a party of 9 adults and two children. At the time of booking we were told to make sure the children did not run around! Well, as if we needed to be told?

We've tried this place three times despite poor service on each occasion because the food is great but the service here was so poor on our last visit that we would never eat here again. The lack of service ruins the experience. It took an hour just to order our mains, we resorted to going to the bar to order our own drinks, we were handed hot plates and told to distribute them amongst ourselves, the same happened with the cutlery and we even had to go up to the bar to ask for the bill. I complained to the manager quite early on, his default position seems to be to try and justify the situation. No goodwill gesture was offered in any shape, bearing in mind our bill was over £100. Poor business sense. A real shame when the chef is so good...we were not the only table complaining that night.

Well, really enjoyed .The dishes that Kika recommended to us looked amazing and was so delicious as we had a chicken lollypop and ching pong chicken for a starter and jalfrezi chicken with tarka daal for main. The service was outstanding . We were very impressed with service that Kika delivered to us and other customers . Would be definitely going back .

Really good food and even better service! Kika made sure the butter chicken was cooked separately so it didn't contain any nuts due to an allergy and she regularly checked on us as well as the other staff. Lovely family restaurant. Will definitely be going back again!

Good food and clean place. Staff very nice. They just need to improve the waiting service in restaurant. The delivery is excellent. Sometimes the food will be served slow but rest assured that it is cooked well and fresh! There is honesty in their service and probably the cleanest restaurant I have seen in such a long time! The owners truly care and do their best to improve and accommodate your requirements.

Had a mixed grill, can't believe most f the items in the grill were actually preprepared and reheated! Been going to restaurants for 30 years and never seen this before. The chop was bone dry rather like chewing cardboard and totally unedible.

Food , decor , and service were all above or well above average for this local. Choice of beer was comprehensive. The only thing i could mark the experience down for is the lack of parking. There is parking nearby ( just follow the U shape on the side street. ) but not obvious .
