The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

The best Indian food I have ever tasted. We have been to this restaurant a few times and it never seems to disappoint. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and everything is spiced correctly too. The Goat on the bone is the best curry I have ever had and I can’t wait to go back. The service is excellent nothing to fault!

Lovely balti! Great service, very nice atmosphere. All the food 5 star, sat outside and felt welcomed. Overall great experience would come back!

Visited on a Monday evening around 7:30pm. It wasn’t too busy but it wasn’t quiet either. A nice and steady evening. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were just right. The waiters were very polite and service was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere stole the show for me. A lot of restaurants you visit these days are drowning in loud music and loud patrons. However, at Blue Orchid they have really cracked it. The lighting, the volume of the music. Left feeling full but not stuffed and very relaxed. Just what you need.

Very Tasty nice treat on a Friday Night even though butter chicken wasn’t on the menu I asked to oder it and it was amazing!

Very nice food hot and fresh nice atmosphere food brought out by the chef himself very well presented. We never booked either just walked in well worth a visit if in the area very nice Indian cuisine 😎

Very poor bland food, served cold. Waiters had very little interaction with customers, never once did they ask if the food was ok. For an establishment that has a Trip Advisor Certificate on the wall, it was unacceptable and undermines the value of said certificate. There are plenty of alternatives. I should have known that it was poor given how easy it was to book a table at two hours notice.

Probably the best Indian restaurant I’ve been too, the food was beautiful and you got a big portion. The only downside was we were packed in like sardines so was hard to eat but the place was packed. Will definitely be returning but will ask for bigger table.!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Went in hopeful of a decent Ruby after football. Very disappointing, everything tasted of salt to the point where I thought the lid must e come off the salt shaker when they seasoned the food, even the naan bread was salty. Don't usually moan about my food but the bill came with 10% tip already added - removed this paid and left, never to return

We really enjoyed the drinks and the overall experience. The atmosphere was lively and full of energy - just the kind of vibe I love in a restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. I'm gluten-free and mostly stick to vegetarian, so I really appreciated how many options were available. The allergens were clearly marked on the menu, and most dishes were gluten-free , even the roti, which was a nice touch. We’re already planning to come back next month for a family celebration.

This restaurant is going to be my regular.The food was delicious to look at as well as to taste. I tried lanaka piazza ,and lamb biriani it was very tasty and excellent as usual. The service was very kind and attentive. Would highly recommended dining here!!!

2nd time not disappointed at all amazing food .

This is our second takeaway from The Ganges and it was faultless. Everything was cooked so well, with loads of flavour and so tasty. They did me veggie Tikka Masala and it was honestly the best I have ever had. Full of vegetables. Always so friendly and helpful too. I would definitely recommend
