Chilli Cha Cha in Kingston upon Thames

Fantastic food freshly cooked. Would recommend. I had the halloumi I think it is ramada. The freshly cooked flatbread and my husband had achar lamb loads of tender lamb in a great curry sauce.

Hands down the best lunch / takeaway food you can get in Kingston, they have never disappointed, The guys who run the stall are really nice and clearly love what they do, and you can tell by the quality of the food - the flavours are fantastic and the meat is cooked to perfection, I usually add photos to my reviews but with Chilli Cha Cha I'm too busy eating to remember!

This place is brilliant, great value with the legendary chicken tikka roll always freshly made and the best in the area. Been back so many times and the whole family love it. Our go to lunch place when in Kingston. Just wish they would take card payments.

No longer interested in dealing with you now you lost two loyal customers

The portion sizes are very small, considering the expense. The Lamb was not marinated very well at all. There is no menu to take away with you. The customer service could be vastly improved. Furthermore, I will not be returning anytime soon.

A gem on the Kingston Market Place which I also believe have opened up another establishment on Surbiton Road. The only meal I've tried is the Chicken Curry, was gobsmacked when I tried it around 4 months ago, and when I had it again this week, the quality and taste is consistent! Fantastic food! Well done!

Make sure you take a bag of ice cubes with you to the loo the next day as thier food is hell spicy. I only ate once and end up with burning stomach and heart burn for 2-3 days

One of the best street food options in Kingston. Serves Pakistani wraps, chips, and chicken- Their Hallumi wrap is particularly good. Overall it’s a fantastic, family run and original business. You can’t go wrong for a lunch time with them. FYI They prefer cash or crypto to card payments, so have some money on hand.

The food quality is very very bad had order chicken tikka wrap and samosa.it was so terrible could eat more than a spoonful.

Ate their lamb kebab wrap today. Not as good as it used to be. The nan was bland. The sauce lacked a punch. Underseasoned. Such a shame as this used to be wonderful.

Everything I've tried from them is incredible, especially the chicken tikka wrap, best chicken tikka I've ever had! The staff are so attentive, efficient specially ambreen and Arfaa and you can tell them and taste that they put a lot of love into their food! Thankx alot for good service

You have to try this. Every time I go to Kingston I make sure that I have time to stop here for a meal. simple food but very tasty and good quality . The price is a fraction of what the restaurants charge for the same thing!! (My favourite! Chicken rice) And you have the oportunidade to talk to the always polite Mr. Cha Cha himself.

I don’t know even know where to start, this place makes the best takeaway food, the chicken tikka wraps are just heavenly, amazing with fresh Nan. The chicken is just so fresh and juicy. I am a regular customer here however today I experienced very poor customer service from the young lady taking orders, her poor service towards me was even noted by other customers waiting in the queue. I thought I would treat my husband to the tikka wrap because he has never been here. However after the service today I will be taking my custom elsewhere the next time I eat from the marketplace.

So good! Really affordable at £5 for a wrap and super tasty, salad and rice bowls are also available as well as some really delicious curry and dahl. It's been a Kingston staple for years for a reason. Love it.

I bought a meat samosa and it was the worst I've ever had. I don't what meat it was, it looked pinkish and the texture and taste were odd, rubbery and seemed a bit raw. I was hungry so ate it but I wasn't quite sure what I was consuming and it was far from enjoyable.

I was not expecting that! This is honestly the best wrap I've ever had. FYI I tried the baked chicken tikka wrap with halloumi. Bit of a faff with the cash in hand and longer wait for the bake but worth it.

Kingston has so much street food, a lot of variety, this one is up there. The portion they give, the taste, everything is nice. I usually get the rice and chicken tikka meal, comes with salad on top and sauce. Lovely and would recommend it if in town

Absolutely delicious, the chicken is cooked and marinated to perfection. The staff are friendly, attentive and lovely. The samosas are great too. Just like grandmas cooking.

Authentic Indian flavours, fresh wrap and very good quality of food on the whole. Absolutely hit the spot. Bought the chicken tikka wrap and was very impressed. Would highly recommend.

Expensive but worth it. Not much of the vegitarian options to try out and vegans are none. Would love to visit again if they plan to improve the veggie options.

Really good street food for a good price. What we ordered Tadka Dal , masala fries , vara (spicy fried potato snack) and chicken tikka salad. They also serve coffee here. Chilli cha cha serves a selection of wraps, salads or curry with rice, while variety ain't large what's on the menu are crowd favourites. You can find chicken and lamb wraps or curry with rice or naan. There are seatings next to the stalls so if you don't want to takeaway and eat there. But you also have the option to sit within many market benches.

Went there first time couple of days ago, food and service nice enough but let down by very small portion, same price can get you a lot more just about everywhere else including pret.

Visited Chilli Chacha for lunch and ordered the chicken tikka wrap which was really flavourful and not too spicy just right and price was good too 10/10 *

Everytime I've ordered, the wraps have been spot on. Tasty as hell. No word of a lie....this place is up there with the original shahi naan kebab on Southall Bridge. Its that good if not better

Came across ‘Cilli Cha Cha’ today for the first time. I had the lamb with salad and the lentils with rice, and hand in heart, I have to say, it was by far the most flavoursome Indian culinary delight I’ve had in ages. Both dishes were spot on, I liked them so much so I fact, that I bought more to take home with me! Also thought the name ‘Chilli Cha Cha’ was quirky and cool. Well done.

There are not enough stars to exemplify our appreciation of Chilli Cha Cha! My Dad wanted some good Chicken Tikka and you can’t get better than this! Freshly cooked in two stages and before our very eyes, the food was superb. Equalled only by the great hospitality shown to us both by the Cha Cha himself and his merry band. The real secret weapon of this market gem are his wife’s recipes, perfected over a lifetime. If you are anywhere near Kingston make the effort and feel like part of the family as we now do. When shopping in Kingston always stop here for lunch - Normally have the chicken Tikka wrap which is consistently good quality. The Cappuccino is better than anywhere else in Kingston. Great value for money fully recommend

I'll cut to the chase.The guy who runs it normally (he's the fellow who even has the cartoon version of his face on the tents facing) is great.Sadly, the other people who he employees are not to be trusted, and will stitch you up at any given chance.The daal is incredible; possible the best I've ever had.It usually comes with rice, but you can order it with a naan. If you order ONE then you're usually okay, but today I got totally ripped off. I ordered THREE daals with naans to take away, but only when I got home did I realise that the woman that served me only gave me one naan.Yeah, it's only a naan, but I honestly feel cheated by her, and I feel it just drags down Chilli Cha Cha and the reputation of the guy who runs it. After all, if you bought 3 burgers with mayo, and 2 of them were dry because they had no mayo at all, you wouldn't surely be happy?

After a busy morning in County Hall the smells and the atmosphere of Chilli Cha Cha was just what I needed. A freshly cooked Chicken Tikka wrap and a tasty coffee. All the time seeing more fresh food being cooked. Staff very helpful. Thank you.

Top stuff. These guys have been here serving up great food for a long time. But I have a confession, I prefer their spin off, the piri piri stall a few down. Thighs, salad and halloumi fries can’t be beaten!

Was drawn to this place by the initial smell while on a business trip in Kingston Upon Thames, ordered a Chicken Tikka and Halloumi roll with no onion, thought a little pricey for £5.99 for the portion you get, watched as they cooked and prepared orders and on mine I could clearly see the elderly gentleman mixing a big portion of onions with the Chicken Tikka he was cooking/preparing, he looked again at the card the cashier had left and even said to the cashier no onion which was confirmed. I watched as they made NO effort to remake without the onions now soaked and mixed with the Tikka, instead they just decided to try and separate the onions with a fork and slapped the tikka cooked with onions onto my roll and proceeded to serve it to me!. I decided due to timing and being hungry I took my order and left returning to my clients office to start eating.No surprise it was awful not only tainted with the taste of cooked onions the chicken tikka was very dry!!, there were other street vendors in Kingston that are very good and listen to their customer requests, will not be returning to Chilli Cha Cha any time soon.

I started coming to the market when I was at college and once I'd had what I call 'magic chicken' I became addicted. As a student, I am tight with money but this stall is so so worth it. I have brought family members to try it, my boyfriend and my friends and everyone has loved it as much as I do.

If you fancy am Indian on the go you should try out Chilli Cha Cha in the old Kingston market. The lovely aromas of Indian food will guide to their stall. Whether it's a light bite or something more substantial the quality is great and very affordable. Highly recommended.

Chili Cha Cha has been our go to every time we visit Kingston (which is almost every weekend!), and has now become a destination on its own. We have tried almost everything on the menu and nothing ever disappoints. Queuing for the food is somewhat of a religious experience: the fabulous smoky auroma, the clinking sound of the stainless steel specula against the hot grill, all deepens the anticipation of the juicy, well seasoned and balanced bites. I often get too excited and end up biting myself when I finally got my food. Pure joy.

The good is amazing . I have tried the chicken biryani recommended to me previously by someone. The owner said that the food is cooked the way they cook at home for themselves. Absolutely delicious biryani, generous size portion. The owner and his sone are very nice and friendly.

About 7 or 8 of us ordered from this place at lunchtime via Uber eats. All I can is wow!! So delicious. Everyone commented on how good it was!! My only complaint and tiny it is, was there was no sauce on my seekh salad, or maybe there was and it was a bit dry. Some raita would have been perfect. Will definitely order from here and again and recommend!!

There are many choices of fare in Kingston but our favourite by far is this place! Amazing people cooking food from "mums" recipes (we have met her and her son so know this is true) and the father who cooks and serves and is a wonderful, cheerful and funny man. The food is always delicious (we have probably eaten here at least 100 times) and the Achari chicken is our favourite. All our kids love it to and it is their preferred place to eat as well. Sometimes I may have Japanese or Vietnamese but always wish I had gone here as my husband always does and I have to pinch his food!
