The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

If you wish to sit and wait and wait and wait for the gentle but uncaring staff to finish executing whatever topic of conversation they seem to be sharing, or have a normal innocent salad prepared so spicy-hot even a seasoned Indian would gasp for breath, then this is place for you. Next time, maybe mention in your menu that your innocent salad isn't really so innocent.

So living locally and always want to use local foods, I usually once every so often treat ourselves for a takeaway, this evening was an Indian from the Malabon in Petersfield. Well the only way I can put it, is stay well clear. Within 15 minutes the food was delivered at my door. That itself says something. The food was absolutely tasteless, bland and extremely well over priced, I bought a tandoori chicken starter for my wife and all she got was a cold dried up portion of a leg of chicken for just under £6 ABSOLUTE DISGUSTING. The mains were shocking, 5 bits of meat in a sauce that seemed it was out of a jar. No color no taste. The only place for an Indian takeaway or a sit down meal in petersfield by a country mile is the Paradise. How I've learnt not to stay with a good restaurant.

This is the place for authentic homemade Indian Cuisine! Fantastic customer service, very friendly and welcoming. Having eaten at many Indian Restaurants across Town, I’d say this is one of the best I’ve tried. The Pakoras well perfectly cooked along with the must have Tandoori Chicken. Very reasonably priced for an superb meal!

I went to here to celebrate my PhD graduation. This was a very special day for me, and the service made it even more special. I had an original booking for 3:30pm and 8 people, but by calling them in advance the staff were very kind to accommodate 10 of us. When asking about allergies, the way the waiters navigated our requirements comfortably and confidently was awesome. The food was delicious. One colleague from Ireland could just not believe that for about 50£ each we feasted, celebrated, and were in such a gorgeous environment. Thank you so much for making my special day even more special. The long queues outside the restaurant make all sense to me now. Big shout out to the staff because they are a treasure!

Excellent place to stop for some Indian food. Staff are friendly and helpful, it's Indian tapas style food and they keep you right about the amount to order. Plenty of choices. Reasonable price.

Absolute garbage food. But then again I am not a vegan. If you are and this is what you eat, bless you. We went as a group so wasn't bothered about the food, I was there for the chats, we did order but it was horrible food. Very pricey too, you'd think that the price would be for the value

Basic fayre, ordered takeaway from Morley St, Tarka dhal was poor, nothing like it should be, spices didn’t have that wow factor, ordered CTM, chicken Peshwari and bhindhi lamb, not keeping up to Bradford’s high standards, Punjab Retaurant is far far better for taste buds. Shame as when dined at restaurant the food was better.
