The best restaurants serving French food in North West

Great food. The Venison and Chorizo Fritter starter was excellent and the Sunday Lunch is the best in the Ribble Valley.

Such good food, tasty and always presented beautifully, had a few wraps from here now and thought it needs a review because they are always so good !

El servicio y la atención al detalle estaba en su punto. Desde la cálida bienvenida en ebullición por Gabriela, al servicio por Bex y Tegan. Disfruté de un recorrido culinario por el menú de platos pequeños, bañados con una copa de Bodegas Saura Cauro Ventum. An odd experience. The rooms and common areas are very thread-bare, dated, and sparsely furnished. The restaurant was probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had (53 years). The grounds are quite nice.

Lovely accommodation, accommodating staff and amazing food! We hope to return thank you for an unforgettable stay and experience.

First visit after many years and I wasn’t disappointed. We went at lunchtime and there was a good atmosphere. The set lunch menu was an excellent price for good quality food. I had tomato soup as my starter and it was amazing. Followed by half a grilled chicken, salad and fries. Again excellent portion - no room for pud. I’ll definitely go back. 👍🏻

Lovely vibrant restaurant. Very nice food. Pleasant, friendly staff and prompt service. My only complaint would be that I received garden peas instead of mushy peas which was stated in the menu. Small point but I wouldn’t have ordered the fish and chips if I’d known. Other mark deducted would be for small amount of chips. Having said that, would visit again.

The restaurant was superb; I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and the tasting menu with wine pairings was fantastic.

Had a great meal here, the food and service were top notch and the price was refreshingly reasonable for such a great place.

Used them twice on Uber Eats, every time there was an issue. First time they sent one breakfast when I'd paid for two. Second time they waited 30 mins then cancelled my order. Don't recommend.

Fantastic bread, and amazing cakes, I have bought 2 celebration cakes from them, and both have not only looked amazing, but also tasted amazing, full of flavour and fantastic texture

Extremely good service from Alex, and the manager. I pre ordered drinks for a birthday celebration, which was brought to the table as a surprise. Service was amazing, attention to detail and friendly staff. Thank you Alex and team. I always enjoy my visit to the restaurant.

We went here as we had Tesco vouchers which I think a lot of people had and this may explain the prices for the food you get. You had to pick off the a la carte menu, I had Beef Bourguignon for £18.35 which contained two pieces of beef and a large amount of beefy mushrooms on a bed of mash. It looked very meaty but only two pieces. The King Prawn starter was nice at nearly ten pounds. There was quite a wait to be served as there seemed to be a changeover from the breakfast to the lunch sitting and someone from the kitchen staff ended up running out with the starters. If I did not have the Tesco vouchers I would not have been very happy at the prices charged, but the restraunt is still getting those full prices for the vouchers used I presume. The thing is you would never visit again based on the price for the mushroom Bourguignon and also the Cesar salad which was about £14 and you had to pay extra for chicken.
