We never booked a table, but we was treated very nicely and shown to table. The service is very good. The food is authentic and delicious. We will definitely be going back there. Highly recommend eating here.

Please note, this is now called 'Lorenzo's' and taken over by the head chef. The service is exceptional with great advice from Leigh and Luke on pairing drinks with foods. Great selection to suit all appetites you don't have to have big meals you can graze if you wish. The menu is created with such care with emphasis on enhancing the flavours of each key ingredient be it fish or meat, nothing is overpowering on the palette. Recommened you book, as such an intimate restaurant it gets busy quickly.

Got a gift voucher as a present - only valid 3 months which seems insanely short (totally my fault for not checking the date!) Asked if there was anything they could do and unfortunately they said no. I’m sure it’s lovely but be aware of dates in gift vouchers!

We booked an early time slot for dinner, due to limited availability later in the evening. We were greeted by friendly staff, including the chef, who explained the menu and that the tapas would be served at different times due to the extensive menu and relatively small kitchen. This seems to be a problem for others, which I understand if you are in a rush, but not the case for us and we simply enjoyed tasty sizeable portioned plates being delivered regularly whilst we enjoyed fantastic drinks and conversation. The only negative, which I hope the owners can resolve, is that the actual menu is very different to that shown on the website - again not a problem for us on this occasion, as we were able to select suitable dishes and the chef offered to vary options, but could be for others.

Visited yesterday at 4pm. Had the pleasure of a gorgeous window table. Staff were so friendly and attentive. We had ordered a jug of white sangria, which was freshly made and gorgeous. The tapas were freshly cooked and we ordered 2 each and a portion of patatas bravas to share between the four of us. The dishes came over the course of an hour as they were freshly prepared. This was perfect for us to graze, chat and enjoy the sangria and wine. We will definitely return

We used to love this restaurant but had an awful experience last night. We had to wait an hour and a half for any food and when it did come it wasn’t the best. Not sure if it’s changed ownership, such a shame used to be a lovely place with gorgeous food. The staff were lovely but the food and wait just wasn’t up to scratch

Food was nice, but had to wait an hour and a half for one person's food to be brought to the table. The response of 'it comes when it comes' is a weak tapas cop out, especially when it was early evening, only 11 people were in the restaurant and you're charging premium prices. Cocktails were good.

We booked through the website for our wedding anniversary taking our teens with us, we arrived to find that they had changed their booking system and had no trace of our booking. THEY HAD TAKEN THE DEPOSIT AND CONFIRMED VIA E-MAIL. They offered us an outdoor seating area, but none of us were dressed for this, kids were in polo shirts and pumps and I was in a dress and sandals. they had outdoor heaters but for anything more than half an hour we'd have been freezing. The general impression was that this was a perfectly good offer on their behalf. "they were fully booked all evening and couldn't accommodate us' as though we'd just turned up on spec hoping for a table. I had to e-mail twice for the deposit, which took them 5 days to sort, no response to any comms, no apology, just sent it back. They knew this was an ongoing problem they told us that, there is nothing on the website, Facebook or Instagram pages indicating a problem with the booking system, so potentially more people are going to be turned away. It's a long time since I've been anywhere with customer service this poor.

Went with a group of friends, was so impressed wanted take the husband and kids for our wedding anniversary. Got there to find there was no record our booking, even though the deposit had been taken at time of booking. We either sat outside and it's cold and we'd not dressed for that. Won't be going back.

Beautiful venue, excellent food and first class service! We've been regular customers of Artisan Green since moving to the area two years ago. We've always been impressed with the food and fantastic service, but today the team went out of their way to look after us when we had to leave our meal early due to a family emergency. Our server really looked after us and in a matter of minutes our order was packed up for us (including our cocktails!) so we could enjoy it later on at home. I have been meaning to try this place for dinner for a while now having eaten lunch here a while ago and I have to say I was blown away by the decor, food standard and the service. The portions are generous and you can tell that everything has been cooked fresh, I am new to being vegan and I usually find I crave other dishes if I go out, but on this occasion, I honestly did not feel that I was missing out as my food was outstanding. I ordered the cauliflower, thai vegetables, triple cooked chips and the broccoli. This was a beautiful meal. 11/10 for the service too, I did not get the names of the lovely staff, but there were two serving us and they were amazing! They are a credit to Artisian Green, really lovely aura about them. I have already told all of my friends and family to give this place a go! Highly recommend to you all :D. Visited for a Friday lunch. One of us in gluten free so ordered all from the gluten free menu so we could share. Excellent range of GF choices so you don’t feel that you’re missing out. Really lovely food and presentation. Three dishes were not available but we didn’t miss them. Started with a couple of cocktails including a great mocktail. Food was cooked to order and super fresh - we tried the feta, salmon, prawns, salsa verse potatoes, and jerk chicken. Only tiny comment is the jerk chicken is very mild - delicious but not what you’d expect. Service was friendly and relaxed. Will be back

Nice bijou tapas restaurant, small and discrete

10 of us visited Artisan Green last night. What an outstanding experience. We've been several times previously but the staff were incredible, looking after us all night. Never rushed, never waiting long and the rest of the restaurant was full as well. The standard of the dishes we selected was amazing and the service brilliant.

Visited on a busy Saturday night and there was a lovely atmosphere. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Food was really nice and very tasty. We were surprised how reasonable it was for food of that standard.

As we were arriving at Manchester Airport in the evening, and had quite a drive ahead of us, I decided to look for a restaurant on our route. How lucky we were!! Staff and food were wonderful, no exceptional, in equal measures. First visit here and the food is such a high standard and quality. This isn’t just any tapas this is artisan green tapas. Was so taken back by how wonderfully presented the food is and so full of flavour. Food tasted incredible. It’s been a long time since I went somewhere inventive and delicious. Cocktails and mocktails are just as good too. I think shop front from the outside need to be a little more inviting to get the most out of people passing by but that is my only comment of improvement. Inside food was welcoming and warming as were the staff. I sat out in the back in the little secret garden where upon we were allowed to have our two well behaved doggies join us. This was an amazing vegan dining experience. For starters, their website was easy to use and menus current. Thrn on arrival we had a friendly greeting by a gentleman I later found out was Rob. We then were wined a dined with exquisite professionalism by Rob, the only front of house staff that managed the very busy place super efficiently and we felt cared for the whole time, even though he was super busy. The food was amazing too. We had 6 dishes from the vegan menu. Love there is a vegan menu to start with, but then an amazing selection of tapas items. We had the cheese board, gespatchio, bbq baby corn, siracha cauliflower and then the cabbage and fritters. Everything was fantastic. The fritters needed a bit more umami which the sauce provided. The cabbage needs some thought. The staff took on suggestions with humility. The bbq baby corn has amazing flavours, balanced perfectly. The siracha cauliflower had the perfect bite. Maybe it was a bad day for them, food was slow we waited 20 mins for drinks, then only got a drink once we were seated. One of our party of 6 (cramped onto a far too smaller table) didn’t receive her food until the others had practically finished. There was a dangling light hanging from the ceiling which comes down so low that it obscures the view of people sitting opposite you. There was no bread served at all for any of this dishes which under normal circumstances would be, so we asked for a basket of bread, shocked to discover they charged £10 for around 10 pieces. The food was okay, but the venue was hot and cramped and I would say, somewhat overpriced. We won’t be visiting again. Sorry for the negative review, but we all felt uncomfortable.

Ok so First of all we booked for 6 people and were sat on a table which could realistically seat a maximum 5 people. With absolutely no room for multiple tapas dishes and a ridiculous chandelier that comes down to exactly face height so you can't see whoever is sat across from you. We Had to actively shout someone over for drinks order even though there was only 2 other tables seated inside with couples on. Eventually got the drinks and had food orders taken. I know how tapas works but one dish at a time with minutes in-between for 6 people is beyond a joke. My partner didn't even get any of her food until we were all done with multiple dishes to the point where she cancelled the rest of her food because it had been over an hour. The restaurant was also incredibly hot, there was air conditioning which wasn't switched on until we asked. I will say the food itself was good I have a nut allergy so the fact they have a totally separate menu is a nice touch. This was supposed to be our post engagement dinner with our parents but it was incredibly disappointing. 2 hours for a total of 11 dishes split 6 ways. It might be better if you're just a couple but I wouldn't recommend going with anymore people they simply aren't set up for it.

Three of us went there as an after Covid catch-up for old friends, one of whom is very fussy on types of food, and even she said the food was lovely. Most of the menu items were good for sharing, and the range of taisty dishes was very good. 🍽️ Our waiter helpfully explained the menu and how the food would be gradually brought out to the table and how many to order to suit the three of us. First visit last night, it’s a nice place but some of the dishes were very disappointing, the beef short rib wasn’t seasoned, and at £12.50 for 4 cubes of beef in a bland sauce is poor. As for the desert cheeseboard, £10.50 for 3 small crackers with 4 small slices of cheese is daylight robbery.... we asked for more crackers but didn’t get them. Tempura prawns, lamb curry, bread and olive oil and crème brûlées were really nice, but £72 for a meal for 2 (and that’s without drinks) is very overpriced. We were still hungry when we left, so called in at Morrisons to buy desert. In 33 years of eating out, this was the 1st time I’ve felt hungry when I finished a meal, and at £72 for 2, I felt like my pants had been pulled down. Incidentally, the owners / management couldn’t even be bothered to respond to this review, and when I commented on their Facebook page that the beef short rib was nothing like what we were served, they blocked me from the page.

This is our first time visiting Artisan Green and they only had one table left in the secret garden which I was nervous about as it was cold and raining but they assured us we wouldn't be cold and they wasn't wrong it was so cosy and warm and decorated beautiful. The staff are very attentive and nothing is to much trouble they explained the menu to us as we hadn't been before the food come out at a nice pace no rushing and not too long. The food is honestly the best it was cooked to perfection and the flavour was outstanding as was the presentation. We will be back to try more of the menu.
