Indian Brasserie in Cheshire West and Chester

Fantastic place! Excellent service

Excellent food and nice staff. My wife has nut allergy, spoke to manager who spoke with chef to give options. Really nice chap and not dismissive to the issue at all. We tried two nut free options which were both really excellent, not watery or lacking flavour. Also ordered chicken shashlik with madras sauce which was incredible! Also to note - popadom chutneys are perfect, including proper red sauce. I eat at a lot of Indian restaurants and this was best I've had for a long time. Thank you Indian Brasserie.

All was good but the Rogan Josh did not taste like a normal Rogan Josh from the Indian Brasserie. It was rather tasteless with a red coloured sauce on top and brown one on the bottom. I would honestly say it wasn't a Rogam Josh, possibly a mixed up order. Not up to the great standards we expected from this establishment. Hopefully it is better next time.

Food over an hour late and when it did arrive it was cold , dry as sticks and not good quality

Great Indian food, efficient service, pleasant environment, decent size portions and reasonably priced. I’m pleased we have such a good quality restaurant within walking distance of where we live.

Don't normally leave a review but this was awful.... ordered a shish kebab starter ( bad, tasted off) chicken madras main ( frozen chicken rock hard) bad taste & not much spice & keema nan with no meat inside Ordered as a delivery £25 never again just awful.... Hate doing this to a buisness really do but food so bad, sorry 😞

This is not indian. 2nd time I ordered, looking at reviews and thought maybe I had just a bad order. Nope, I was wrong. food does not qualify as indian food. Tasteless, no heat or spice, and stay away from the lamb, you can't even chew it, it's just a ball of rubber! Chicken biryani, tasteless, rogan josh same, dupiaza- not even close. Really upset for giving them a 2nd change. Had eggs and toast tonight after spending 70 quid...

1 star is too generous. Chicken brijani- no taste, lamb dupiaza shocking to send that out, you can't even eat the lamb! Ball of un chewable meat in your mouth!!!! All in all for the all our meals tonight there was zero flavour, no heat??? and a poor excuse for Indian! Will never order from u again, totally pissed off at what u gave us tonight.

Really nice freshly made sauces but just too much sugar. The panner with peas was sweet and no spice. If I order Indian food it's because I would like spice, not sugar. The Rogan Josh sauce was sweet too!. I don't know why. It's supposed to be med spice. if I want sweet I would order Korma. The quality however was very good. The lamb was very tasty but needed more meat.

Have ordered a few times and was always nice but tonight it was a massive letdown. The meals had been squashed in so we had 2 broken trays at the bottom that had leaked everywhere. I salvaged what I could from these. The lamb was extremely bad quality today and very tough and fatty, previously it’s been lovely but not tonight. The chicken in the byriani was dry to the point it was going hard. We had not been sent any sauce to accompany the starters which were very nice. The popadoms were chewy.

Lovely restaurant, great food and service. We went on a Monday evening and benefitted from the Monday Banquet deal - starter, main and rice or naan for just £14:95 (NB specials and sea food excluded). Excellent value all round. This really is a great place to eat and, with parking directly outside, it's so easily accessible. A lovely evening - we will be back!

Last time we ate here it was gorgeous. This time it was a different story, unsure if they were just busy but the chicken was tough, peppers and onions burnt and the sauce was tasteless. Really disappointed as last time it was so good. Hope the pick it up again

Poppadoms were soggy and stale, and the quantity of meat in the curries was disappointing. Everything was watery too. Not as good as we usually get from here. Disappointed.

Rude waiter, rude manager. What a disappointing experience, waited over an hour for mains, staff seemed embarrassed when asked what the delay was but didn't give any indication of the issue , our curries were brought to the table with the advice that the rice was just heating in the microwave, curries weren't very hot, feedback about our experience was not welcomed in any way, talked over and down to and dismissed with such rudeness, to watch the waiter and manager rant about our feedback loudly in front of other diners was appalling, a large volume of takeaway orders left the restaurant whilst we were there but apparently over an hours wait is standard, the food although luke warm was the best part of a very disappointing experience 🙄

Charges £3.45 more for the Just Eat Garlic Chilli Chicken - excluding JUst Eat delivery charges.. £9.50 if I was to collect. £12.95 if I was to order via Just Eat, The difference between their takeaway prices and Just Eat prices is eye watering. Very poor

First time ordering here and it was absolutely beautiful. The best Indian we have ever had for a really good price. Korma was creamy and full of flavour, rice was fluffy, cheesy Naan’s were soft and flavoursome and chips were fluffy on the inside but nice and crispy on the outside. All the food was piping hot and the gentleman that delivered was really lovely. Couldn’t recommend enough

Visited the Brasserie last night. Mostly served by Yass, the service was superb. He helped us to slightly modify a couple of dished as well to suit our requirement. Starter kebabs were very tasty but could have been a little more spicy. 2 curry dishes were served up the way we wanted, arrived hot and excellently cooked with plenty of spice and sauce. Nan were well cooked, fluffy, soft and nicely buttered. Overall, a lovely experience - thankyou

Great food. The Saag Aloo, meat platter, keema rice, onion bahjis are lovely. The food was right on time ready for collection. Will order from here again for sure.

Very average. Perfectly OK mind. I found the Bhuna’s very mild and plain, they should have some heat. Curry portions quite small. Tons of rice left over. Tandoori Roti 🫓 tastes of nothing. Reasonably priced. Cobra on draught was the highlight.

Ordered a mixed grill as a main. Portion no more than a starter. Nothing offered to rectify things after contacting. I spent £48 in total. Won’t order from here again

I have not ordered with just eat before. I was surpised and astonish to see the final bill. No way you said it would be more than the menu. I paid £22 extra on top of the restaurants own menu. Why did have to pay this? I am disappointed and annoyed.

delivered by an athlete on a bike, to the premier Inn! absolutely a really tasty curry spice was just right I thought 🤔 but then I ate a whole chilli wow life changing I could hear my ear wax sizzling 🥵 I survived! loved it!

Definitely best Indian cuisine I have ever eaten ( and I have already tried a lot different tastes around the world ) it does not deserve 5 stars - it deserves 6 !!

We went early Sunday evening and couldnt believe how popular it was. We had the Sunday special which was very reasonable.The food was good, very tasty. The waiters were busy with both takeaway and dine -in people.slight delay between courses but overall good

Ordered a tandoori mixed grill, by the time you take away all the onions they put in, there’s very little meat left , the worst mixed grill I’ve ever seen

We had the veggie starter platter, followed by the tomato fish dish, was very nice. Good service also.

This Indian restaurant is a 'real find'. The food is great and we love it! Been here several times over the years. Run by 3 x very hard working brothers.

We have been going to the Indian Brasserie with and without friends for years, never had a bad meal which says it all really. The best Indian restaurant in Chester in my opinion. Highly recommended.

Visited the Indian Brasserie recently for the very first time. We were there when they opened and stayed for nearly 90 minutes. I noted no other customers during that time. However, the food was tasty, ample and for the price, very reasonable. One incident I was not happy with . A staff member decided to use cleaning spray near our table . I want herbs and spices in my food not a mist of cleaning spray. Other than that, not bad.

Visiting the Chester area again and decided to call back after last time it was superb. Didn’t disappoint, once again fantastic cuisine. Probably go as far to say they do the best main courses we’ve ever experienced 10/10. Nice clean restaurant, fabulous staff 👍🙌🏻

Food was fine 4.50 for two samosas seems a little dear. And paid 2.50 for a tiny handful of chips. Other than that it was alright

Went to the Indian brasserie after my friends recommendation; the place was spotless and the staff were very attentive. The food was excellent all served hot and good portion size. Definitely our new no1 Indian in Chester

A huge thank you to all the team for being so accommodating of a peanut allergy. We have struggled for years to find an Indian that is able to do so. The food was delicious!

£21 for a relatively small meal, but a smart place and tasty meal. Same meal take away might have been about £9.00. Genuine people and very efficient in getting hot meal onto the table together. Maybe I am just not used to eating out and spending so much for a Fanta, massalla and a popadom.

Stopped in here while staying at a holiday home across the road. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff and the food was perfect, we had a Bhuna and a Korma. If ever back in the area we will use them again.

Great service. Very friendly and efficient. Food is lovely. Methi Gosht superb and good bindi. Curries are quite mild - go for hot if you want more spice, but the flavours are delicious. Limited selection of wines but the house red was very pleasant. The only minor gripe was the background music - would be nice to have something from the subcontinent. Overall highly recommended if you are in the area.

Best indian restaraunt in chester. Me and my grandad are regulars here, the staff are so lovely, and the food is beyond delicious, would highly recommend 10/10!!

Absolutely beautiful food. Went in as a group of 4, each ordering a different curry and all were delicious. Ordered with pilau rice and naan. The staff couldnt do enough to help us.

Never ever have in mind to go to this Indian!!! The chips were greasy I told them to replace them and they bought it out and they were the same ones because I i put curry at the bottom to see and came out exact same. Now onto the garlic Nan It was so greasy that it was dripping out of it. Now onto the dishes one was not up to my standards! I’m just writing this review to let people know Thanks👍 0/10

This restaurant’s owner dont give the customers tips to employees. Shameful behaviour of owner. I received numerous complaints from staff working there.

After reading very good reviews about this place, we decided to try it. Food wasn't impressive, I expected better for the price. We ordered different meat dishes and in 4 out of 5 the meat was dry. Unfortunately, any of the dishes was worthy of a praise, very disappointed. Only good point is that, being out of town, it was a nice family atmosphere rather than the usual Friday night drunks.

One of the best Indian meals I have had. Friendly welcome when we stopped off en route to Holyhead. Everything freshly cooked from scratch.

Called in for a drink and starter and that was fine by the lady that greeted us to be told by her male colleague that we had to order a ‘full meal’ and we refused. Unbelievable poor service.

Great service in a clean and welcoming environment. The food though is the star , it was the best Indian food I’ve had, the food was excellently seasoned. There was a large stick of cinnamon in the pilau which is a touch that goes far in saying how much care the chefs place in the cooking and it’s quality. To finish this food is great value. Three curries, two pilau, excellent keema naan, 6 onion bajis, one chicken pakora, 5 popadoms and chutneys. Three large cokes, two glasses of wine and two coffees. £80 awesome value, I recommend this place to anyone you will have a great meal.

First time having this takeaway. Absolutely recommend the banquet for 2. Delish!! Plenty of food with left overs too. We changed of couple items on the menu and they were happy to change it for us. Definatley recommend. Sit down next time. Thank you x
