Wanted to try something new and loved it. Great selection for the family. I had the Bourguignon, it was delicious. We also sampled some starters, sides, everything was really excellent with good portion sizes. Highly recommended.

Nothing to write home about. The restaurant is very small and verging om dingy/ dark. Most of the lights were flickering constantly. That's fine if you're going for a 'hole in the wall, off beaten track' vibe, but if you're markering for fine french dining in EC, maybe change a light bulb occasionally. The restrooms were pretty dirty and their decor unloved for that level of restaurant. Food wise, the bread served with the meal was wholesale cheap stuff that you would expect to see at a Premier Inn, and the butter tasted weirdly off- ie like it had begun to ferment from being left unrefrigerated for too long. Serving salted butter might be a better choice for such instance. But again, for high- level French dining, fresh whipped butter and warm fresh bread is usually a nice addition to the meal. The main meal was certainly pleasant, fresh and well balanced. Starter was trout ceviche followed by cod. It lacked any real depth of flavour and seasoning. I would expect to have just as pleasant a fish meal in any upscale seaside pub- ie tasty and fresh but not sophisticated (but probably at half the price paid here). There was no wine pairing or recommendations by the waiters. The wine was again fairly underwhelming and the selection was rather limited (which is fine if curated well, but this wasn't the case). Waiting staff were prompt, professional and friendly. The restaurant is so tiny that you find yourself bumping into them on entry and exit, however. In summation, if you have plenty of disposable income and not much time to book a reservation in advance, then this will probably just about fit the bill, but it would be better value for money to get on the Eurostar and hit the nearest bistro when you get to the other side!

Absolute hidden gem in central London - does the best mix of salads for lunch - all super fresh and delicious - if I could go there everyday I would! Lovely staff and great value for money.

Lovely hidden gem. Friendly service, welcomed us and our children. Provided chalk for our kids to draw on the slate tables which was a novelty they loved. Excellent quality food - I had the choucroute which had a great selection of meat. Also one diner had a gluten intolerance and the team had a fantastic understanding of what this was and were very accommodating. Will happily go again.

Tuvimos una comida encantadora en este restaurante, que ofrece un menú fijo y estábamos satisfechos con todos los platos que elegimos. El servicio fue muy bueno y amable también.

Cenamos temprano en Cord. El menú estaba delicioso, incluyendo un vaso de burbujas, y excelente relación calidad-precio. El servicio fue atento con un ambiente encantador. Mi esposa tenía la tara de trucha, abadejo y una porción muy generosa de tarta tatin compartida entre dos comensales. Tomé la pasta de calabaza, confites de pata de pollo y postre de selva negra. Los chefs, trabajando a la vista de los comensales, fueron hábiles e inventivos en la presentación de los platos.

Imagínate, .. es un hermoso día, el sol está fuera, usted decide encontrar un restaurante exquisito para su cliente, y darse cuenta de que ha pasado un tiempo desde que tuvo una comida gloriosa en la terraza coq d argent, solo para tener su experiencia nublada por un servicio terrible. De hecho, aunque me gustaría añadir que el chef definitivamente conoce sus cosas, el servicio es simplemente terrible. Con tanto personal de camareros, uno se imaginaría que lograrían sacar bebidas antes de la comida, no dejarla 25 minutos antes de tomar un pedido, olvidar el vino, y ¿cuál es esta total tontería de compartir cubos de vino? Lo que significa que la tuya está al lado de otra mesa, todo perfectamente aceptable si el personal de camarera realmente te sirvió, lo que no hace, por lo que tu única opción es o bien vagar continuamente a la mesa de otra persona, o simplemente no poder beberlo. Preguntamos si podíamos tener uno junto al nuestro, pero aparentemente a pesar del precio de su menú, todos tenemos que compartir. Siguiente número... para los que hablamos francés, entiendo que la palabra "ramo" de langostinos significa más de 1. Aparentemente no, es 1 langostino. Así que cuando usted pide, el restaurante francés parece no adherirse al idioma francés. En general, no voy a llevar clientes de vuelta aquí. Ha ido terriblemente cuesta abajo y en estos días Londres tiene muchos mejores lugares para ofrecer. Qué pena.

Not great. Food took a while to arrive even though the restaurant was almost empty. steak was tepid so sent it back. French onion soup wasn't particularly hot either. One of our party's food was forgotten and came after everybody had finished. No chamomile tea (but lots of other flavours?). Teacup was dirty so swapped it. After all that, no apologies whatsoever and the waitress had the cheek to ask for a review. Well this is it.

Amazing food! Never tasted French like this before. Highly recommended!

Wonderful aged steaks impeccably served. Old style panelled dining room hidden from the crowded bars of the Ned Hotel. Definitely an “in” place with live jazz on a central stage. We tried the sharing tomahawk while the other guest had a fillet. Faultless. A carefully decanted Amarone Tommasi to accompany it. As good as it gets.

In general, good service and the food is good, I recommend a Macchiato coffee with an apple pie. It is a small place with few chairs.

¡Verdaderamente terrible! A nadie le interesaba que quisiéramos una mesa. Tuvimos que preguntar un par de veces para pedir cualquier cosa y el camarero realmente luchó para captar el pedido, teniendo que pasar por él más de una vez para asegurarse de que era correcto. La comida llegó (demasiado) rápido. Tuvimos que enviar un plato de vuelta ya que no estaba cocinado. Tuvimos que perseguir nuestras bebidas y nos dijeron que alguien estaba trabajando en ellas ahora, a pesar de poder ver el bar y podía ver claramente que no había nadie allí y no había bebidas. Muy pobre. No volverá.

Nos sentó enseguida. Tuvimos un niño de 5 meses con nosotros. La persona que nos sentó fue muy amable. Entonces desaparecieron - sin agua - sin camarero para tomar el orden. Esperamos más de una hora. ¡Molesto! No lo recomendaría y no volvería a ir.
