Absolute hidden gem in central London - does the best mix of salads for lunch - all super fresh and delicious - if I could go there everyday I would! Lovely staff and great value for money.

Extremely friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Gorgeous food and very well presented. The coffee was the best we had had that day. The cakes that were left looked absolutely delicious too. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you 🙏🏻

Good drinks and food, welcoming staff but too many people for the small place, no social distancing due to the lack of space. It would be better if people could stay at their table. They should find a system to circulate the air for the cats and customers wellbeing because it was diffucult to breath. The cats were cute...

Excellent specialty coffee. They also serve cakes and cookies and breakfast. The staff was nice and friendly. The place is very small, more appropriate to grab a coffee on the go.

While other Cocotte locations are usually quite good, this particular establishment lacks on the vision: the food was bland, our chicken tasted and looked like yesterday’s reheated batch, the chicken soup, while hearty, definitely had the taste of Maggi cubes, the air conditioning condensation was dripping on the plates on some of the tables, personnel was mopping the floor on a near-permanent basis and the entire restaurant had a feel of a run-down fastfood, absolutely not managed nor maintained up to Cocotte’s standards. Sadly, we ended up back home with a bout of explosive diarrhea! A costly affair, with our terribly disappointing late lunch costing over £90.-

Saint Jacques is a lovely restaurant. Staff were helpful and welcoming. It is not a tourist restaurant. I had two appetizers (grilled scallops and mushroom soup) that were excellent and plentiful for a dinner. The Crepes Suzette was fabulous! The noise level is low which allowed for us to have a quiet conversation.

Poor before we had even eaten. Taking my Mum to enjoy Beef Wellington, her favourite dish, I phoned ahead a few times to ensure one was available. Just before I arrived at the restaurant, they confirmed it was available. We sat down in an empty restaurant, rather inefficient staff. We were told there was no Beef Wellington, so I pointed out that one was put by. Then we were told they could make one, and it would take 40 mins, to which we said would that be 40 minutes or could it be longer ? On visiting the toilet I heard the chef say ‘if they wanted one, it might take 45 minutes’. Nobody wants to be considered a nuisance in a restaurant, so we decided to take our custom elsewhere. Having travelled all the way from Hampstead to enjoy Beef Wellington, my Mum’s favourite dish, we left & ate elsewhere. Sadly not beef Wellington.
