Desde el momento en que entras en el magnífico restaurante hasta los Petit Fours, cada plato fue brillante. Teníamos el menú escandinavo, que incluía langosta, mejillones, bacalao y venado. Cada plato fue servido caliente, hermoso presentado y por amables camareros. El postre fue nuestro plato destacado, pero cada plato fue excepcional. La universidad ha trabajado duro para producir estándares tan altos... El mejor lugar en el que hemos comido durante mucho tiempo... Sin duda volveremos para otra experiencia. . . . . .

Really quaint, comfortable and fun place with a great selection of wine and a decent menu. Felt like a local there as the staff was friendly and welcoming. Went on a slow Tuesday night and enjoyed the place very much. Had steak frites, great fries and a decent steak ( a bit thin and slightly under cooked…) All in all I liked it and will return!

Fui a Whitcombs a cenar temprano. Bonito lugar, limpio, servicio atento. La comida era fantástica. Muy bien. Elogios especiales para Leema que felizmente tomó un plato de vuelta para descascarillar las gambas simplemente para satisfacer una preferencia personal. El plato volvió descascarillado y totalmente rehecho. Servicio real de 5 estrellas en un hotel de 5 estrellas. Impresionante.

A truly wonderful place to eat and drink created by head chef Elliot Miller and his fantastic team. A varied, interesting, seasonal menu, with every dish cooked to perfection, all with interesting and incredibly well balanced flavours. The beef tartare, dill oysters and duck breast were stand out for us, but everything was so good it is hard to pick favourites! The Sommelier was very knowledgeable and friendly and helped us to pick a wonderful bottle that would hold up to all of our dishes. The front of house team were all extremely attentive and warm and we just had the best evening all round visiting Cabotte! I would highly recommend a visit!

The chef is unhinged and lacks talent. He likes to shout at the staff in front of customers and play techno music at rave volumes when he wants to go home. The restaurant does not clean prawns before serving them. The oysters are unfresh and disgusting. One of the worst restaurant experiences of all time

Vi beställde kaffe o en varsin macka. Fick vänta jättelänge trots få andra gäster. Mackorna (som skulle serveras varma) blev till slut serverade med ljummet kaffe. En av oss fick inte ens den macka som beställts. Det här stället kan jag inte rekommendera, hur svårt kan det vara att värma en färdig smörgås o göra lite kaffe. Vi beställde också lite vatten men det bemödade sig inte personalen om att ens komma ut med. Besvikna!

Lamento oír que este restaurante ha cerrado desde entonces. Tuvimos una velada fabulosa allí con los socios de negocios, y era comida verdaderamente deliciosa, y el servicio más atento. La atención al detalle, la combinación de sabores, el calendario de los cursos y la calidad general fueron excepcionales.

First (and last) visit, eminently forgettable food though to be fair, served efficiently and unobtrusively. Would that I could comment that “unobtrusive” was applied to fellow guests. Tables being set so close you have no option but to be bombarded with conversations from either (or both) sides). I’m not interested in how other folks spent their day or what stock is a dead cert. Finally, IMHO the wine list is pretentiously long. I appreciate that this is their raison d’être, but nobody needs (or has time to wade through) 60+ pages of wine offerings.

Just finishing another brilliant fortnight AGAIN in our second home been coming back for 20 years so no more to be said from the bottom to the top staff are brilliant no one is better than anyone else so relaxed,clean and friendly so give it a go

From the moment you arrive, the Connaught and all its history welcome you. The doormen and staff are the most welcoming, ready to help you and with the biggest smile. The facilities overall are excellent. The decoration of the restaurant deserves special mention. Now onto the main event, the food and the proposals of Darroze are always excellent. In these pictures you can see the spring menu. Albeit not taking dramatic risks, every plate hits a perfect note that will stay with you for days. Worth mentioning the pricing is very fair for the excellent quality provided, which is greatly appreciated. I recommend it to anyone and I will continue to visit.
