Came for a meal, booked in advance. First time we'd been there and love seafood restaurants. The food was good but unfortunately not mind blowing but felt the portions were not great and was a tad overpriced. Service was sporadic, had to ask for service a couple of times but they were very friendly. Nice atmosphere overall.

We had a booking for my husbands birthday and we even recieved a booking confirmation today and then we come all the way to London and find the restaurant closed. Unbelievable.

Despite confirming a booking on opentable for January 6th for a special event, we found that the restaurant was closed. Zero respect shown to potential clients.

The seafood and products are evidently fresh and premium, however, the portions were relatively limited. The atmosphere was great in the basement, moreover the selection of wines and beers were pretty good, and the service was outstanding, the owner/manager provides an almost personalised or bespoke treatment. 😊👍🏻

This was for a business lunch with a long time business partner. The owner was very charismatic and clearly a great lover of food and wine. His recommendations were spot on, and the choices that he had fresh were delicious. He was confident in the chef's capabilities, supervised him a bit, and the preparations were excellent, Even a bit tailored to the wine. Exceeded my expectations and I definitely recommend it. An unexpected and happy find.

Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ service: +1⭐️ We love the cold seafood platter, the oyster was very fresh and the crab is also delicious. We also enjoyed the squid in ink and the steam mussels. Highly recommend to get the platter, oysters and tapas, not so much on the hot dishes tho. If we only had the platter and tapas, I would have given the food 4 stars. We didn’t enjoy some of the hot dishes. We got the sea bass ravioli which was tasteless. I don’t know if the chef accidentally forgot to put sauce or what, there was no sauce. And the chef’s selection was also very plain and salty. Very generous on the seafood tho! The fish soup was average. The server was extremely attentive and nice. I gave an extra star because of her. She explained what was on the menu and changed our plates very often. Also, it took a long time for hot dishes to be cooked. Our dinner took 3 hours from start to finish. The seafood platter came super quick tho, so it might only be because we were sharing and they brought dishes one by one.

Firstly, best oysters. Great tasting food in a cozy and friendly atmosphere. Owner and the staff very friendly as if youre a regular. Will be back👍👍 and dont miss the champaigne🍾

Amazing little place. Had the deluxe platter, which was amazing and MASSIVE, could not even finish all of it. The owner is an absolute delight, you can see that he loves what he does. He made us feel truly at home. I would whole heartedly recommend it to anyone visiting London or living here. Ps. The platter is not a first date choice for sure. It is messy, in a good way of course.

I had one of the best seafood dinners I had in a long time. Unfortunately there is pretty much no service as the place is very short staffed. But still top quality seafood.

Eigentlich wollten wir Fish&Chips essen. Zufällig kamen wir an diesem Lokal vorbei. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten, gab es einen netten 2er Tisch auf der Terrasse. Excellentes Essen, sehr freundliches Personal.... es war ein sehr angenehmer Abend, den auch der plötzliche Wolkenbruch nicht schmälern konnte.

Loved the atmosphere. Nice oysters. Didn’t go for the main as it was super busy and I realised waiting time will be long. I will go back once it’s quieter as it is my neighbour restaurant. Bloody Mary was excellent. The owner and staff are very friendly, warm people.

Recently moved from South Kensington to Mayfair. This place has been the new go to fishmonger for me. Great service and fresh fish. However a bit disappoint with Valentine’s Day order this time. The sea urchin quality is not very consistent as in the photo. Got 2 lobsters for £75, the meat quality doesn’t taste very fresh, more like frozen lobster.

First the good. The appetizer of langoustines (langostinos) sautéed in garlic butter was wonderful! The main dish was good to very good but not wonderful. The oysters were good but not served with cocktail sauce and saltine crackers as I’m used to in the US. I get that cocktail sauce and saltines are apparently an American thing but for me, not having those two items detracted from the whole oyster experience. Overall, the food was good but not outstanding. The bad: We had to sit at the bar due to not having reserved a table in advance. The bar stools are VERY uncomfortable and lack foot rails so our legs got quite uncomfortable after about 15 minutes. The check/bill for two with a glass of champagne for one person was 143 British pounds. They brought out bread and butter without us requesting it shortly after we ordered our appetizer and they charge 4.95 for each basket of bread and butter so we were charged roughly 10 pounds for bread and butter (two orders). When we got the final bill, there was not only the usual 12.5% service charge but then another 20% added on top of the 12.5%. So apparently this establishment charges a 32.5% gratuity/“service charge” which, in my humble opinion is outrageous. Then when paying our bill, they required us to not only show identification to match the credit card (which I am fine with, actually pleased that they check to verify the card user) but then ALSO take a photo of the identification card. After some argument, I finally allowed this after covering all my personal info except my name and photo. In summary, the food is good to very good but not outstanding. The service charge/tip of 32.5% is (in my opinion) totally unacceptable/unwarranted and then insisting on taking a picture of my credit card and ID is beyond unacceptable. I will NOT go back!

a perfect find during our stay in the neighborhood. happened to walk by last night and came today for a mid-afternoon lunch. my mom and i split the wintertime chef special featuring shrimp, clams, muscles, bass and more. the butter and the fish were a wonderful mix. my french is awful, so i can’t name it, but i had some french oysters that were top notch. my daughter, who is not a fan of fish, had the vegetarian ravioli. it was incredibly savory and delicious. lastly, nic spent a great deal of time telling us about everything on the menu and gave us wonderful travel advice for the next leg of our trip to france. eat here. it is perfect.

My wife doesn't get crab legs very often; so when visiting London she did a search for "Best Crab Legs in London". La Petite Poissonnerie was the result. We were not disappointed. The front dining area is small and has a beach atmosphere. Even better was when we walked in the door a crazy man was walking around showing off his new blanket. This turned out to be the owner, and we immediately felt like we had made a new friend. Our server was Leah or Lea not sure of spelling, and both she and Nic talked about making dining an experience. They are all extremely knowledgeable ask for their advice and take it. You will not be disappointed. THIS PLACE IS AN EXPERIENCE. You need to visit. The food and staff are unequaled. I can't thank you all enough for making our visit incredibly special. We had Oysters and Scallop Sashimi (sp) for our starters, Crab Legs and the Chef's Recommendations for the main course, and a sake/sorbet combo to end our meal. All were excellent.

Service is on top of the game. Staff are very knowledgable and friendly. Restaurant has only few tables, advised to book in advance to secure the spot. Fresh sea food displayed in front of customers in a boat like stand. Had a craving for oyesters and discovered this place online. The selection of oyesters is divine and they were all super delicious. Will be coming back to taste more of their menu, especially main dishes. Highly reccomended to visit this little gem.

Go to fishmonger!! Mark is a true gent and can easily witness he’s passion for what he does, great selection of fresh fish daily. Not had the pleasure of dining at restaurant yet but can only imagine if it’s anything like the level of service, sure it will be amazing!!

Great selection of all types of fish and have found that their clams always perfect for vongole...with very few having to be discarded. Staff always very helpful.

Randomly chose this restaurant for lunch, it was fully booked but the charming Nicholas found us a table for our anniversary! Excellent food, meticulously and attentively produced (because of my allergies), fabulous wine selection (including Sake!) served with panache and charm. Thoroughly recommend this place! We found this little gem while walking last evening. After many years in London, I am confident to say that it's one of the best places in town if you want to eat fish. It's simply amazing, they cook extremely well. The staff is kind and competent, and you can tell they know everything about what they are cooking. Simply fantastic, we will come again. Plus, more than fair prices!

I had lunch here, had a the squid with and the sea bass ceviche as starters which were amazing. There are a variety of fresh fish that you can pick from and they certainly know how to prepare it deliciously. Oh while you are there have a chat with Nicholas, the owner he is a character

2 new people working there. they barely speak english and they do not accept to slice the fish in sashimi even though they used to. I asked for razorclam. the lady was so disgusted to touch them, she gave them to her colleague to wrap. she even stuck her tongue out as a sign of disgust. if the product disgusts her so much , why does she sell it? I think the management has changed. I will avoid now

Wonderful little gem on New Quebec Street. Nik, The owner, is fantastic. The Seabass ceviche was wonderful, and the cod and clams hot pot was simply amazing. Delightful selection of French wines as well to match.

We had a delicious meal at this friendly , charming , fishmonger/restaurant . You can either chose a fish from a large selection or opt for an off menu option. Being a freezing cold evening we chose a seabass cerviche and the highly recommended bouillabaisse, an excellent choice. We were shown the amount of fish going into the soup and thought it was probably a joke, it was not! We were presented with a huge bowl of the most delicious bouillabaisse, despite our valliant efforts we could not reach the bottom of the bowl.

Excellent seafood. Friendliest place. Located on New Quebec St, La Petite Poissonnerie is both a fishmonger and restaurant. I picked a Dover sole right off the display inside the main room that Nick, the chef and owner, suggested to cook in butter with mussels, shrimp and scallops. Perfect dish, great service and a very nice neighborhood restaurant feel. Oysters for starters were also delicious. I didn't have the bouillabaisse but it also looked delicious so I will try it next time. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu and the wines are very reasonable too. Small cosy fishmongers that serves great quality sashimi grade sashimis. It is a rare find in central London. Although they charge more than the fishmongers in Billings gate market, it is totally plausible. If you need quality salmon / tuna or any form of seafood. You found the right spot in the heart of Marble Arch.

Amazing oysters and lunch menus (we had Japanese curry tuna, salmon teriyaki with rice and seaweed salad) for a very reasonable price. Friendly and passionate cook!

２時くらいにランチのサーモン丼ぶり目当てで訪れました。席に案内され、先に飲み物を頼むよう催促され飲み物が来てから、メニューを見せてとお願いすると冷蔵庫から余り物のような穴子丼を２つ出され、他のメニューは全てない。と言われました。 既に飲み物を注文後だったので仕方なくキンキンに冷えた小さな穴子丼6￡くらい？を食べましたが、美味しい訳もなく。 最初にほぼ完売してると教えてくれれば店を出たのにと残念な気持ちになりました。 その後亭主のかたが、まかないのようなスープを１つ出してくれ、そちらは温かく本当に美味しかったです。もっと早めの時間帯で行けば美味しいものが食べられたのかもしれませんが、２度と行かないです。

Dishonest fishmonger - tried to sell us unfresh squid and labelled the disintegrating skin as 'normal' and we 'would not get any fresher anywhere else's. Also pricey.

Highly recommended if you are a serious fish eater who finds it hard to eat regular supermarket ones! Without exaggeration, my food experience in this country has been completely changed since I found this little shop. The shop staff are all well trained and know a lot about fish in general. My favourites are all kinds of local seasonal fish so I normally ask for their recommendation and buy two kinds of fish, including my favourite "black cod miso", a type of fish marinade with miso (Japanese fermented soya bean paste). They can even advise you how best you can cook the fish - so it's very much encouraging for me to challenge new kinds of fish, even the one I have never tried. I also love their Japanese Sushi / Sashimi lunchbox as well as Japanese deli packs. There's a Japanese staff on Thursday and she's offering various kinds of interesting Japanese small dishes. All those small plates make me feel sooooo at home!!! :)
