Uninspired food at quite elevated prices, felt like time travel - remembered how much cooking has improved. Stressed service, food came so quickly it can not possibly been prepared properly.

Fairly good French cuisine. All three courses solid, dessert the standout. Atmosphere was more formal than relaxed but a decent experience overall.

Server appeared preoccupied and jittery. We had to move tables after a glass was spilled and broke over our table. We understand that accidents happen but beyond the breakage there was still questionable service. Our dining experience was a few days before Christmas. Not a restaurant we would return to.

Booked a table at Bellamy’s for dinner as I heard it’s a great place. We had a wonderful experience here. The staff were lovely and our table was ready when we arrived. We had some lovely dishes - we tried their prawn cocktail, lobster soufflé, duck breast, beef tartare and two of their desserts. They were all great and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone visiting. The highlight for me was the lobster soufflé. Special thanks to Cosmin for making our dinner extra special and the rest of staff for paying attention to all the details. Can’t wait to go back once I’m back in London.

Shame on you Fired me for making complain against one of the chef’s? Behind closed doors 🚪 is a nightmare place to work. The chefs are above the law, they talk with everyone like a dogs. And let’s don’t forget , working without contract it’s illegal in UK 🇬🇧

Very friendly and accommodating booking; I must have booked one day later than intended - despite the restaurant being full, they made it work for us to have dinner as intended. Oysters were fresh and tasty, so was the main course (sea bass in foil), followed by crème brulle. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere - suitable for business dinner as much as for gatherings with friends.

Obviamente un restaurante pukka, pero un lunes casi vacío a la hora de comer, ¿por qué estaba intercalado entre una computadora que el gerente me golpeaba por la oreja y una mujer a mi izquierda en su teléfono todo el tiempo, cuando la mayor parte de la habitación estaba vacía? ¿Es porque no somos habituales? Estamos fuera de los pueblos y no faltan ideas, pero esto era misterioso .. y la comida era excelente, excepto que el hígado de terneros no viene con ninguna salsa, y se veía seco, así que tuve que rellenar para una salsa de filete para ir con él .. puedes ser tan de clase alta como quieras, pero aún así cometer errores como este y mi hijo con el que estaba teniendo un almuerzo especial no quería quejarse, y yo tampoco! Así que lo soportamos. En silencio. Pero, ¿por qué somos ingleses tan lentos en dar la cara? ¡Estoy molesto conmigo mismo!

Returned to Bellamy's for my birthday recently with children and a couple of friends. It was rather quiet and subdued when we arrived just after 7 and, in truth, we were a bit noisy. However, by the time we left the place had filled up and the atmosphere warmed up. My party all loved it - even though a bit non-plussed by the Bellamy's tradition of serving Galaxy Minstrels at the end of the meal. Exemplary service with genuine, professional, but unstuffy warmth and delicious food of incredible value If the prices aren't almost too "cheap", they certainly offer amazing value for money ( a meal in Whitstable costs the same with half the overheads)... Delicious roast grouse, steaks, starters of white bread, crab, terrine of goose liver, classic desserts The patron, Mr Rankin was hand to wish everyone bon appetite - the only people who still do that are very limited these days

Our go to restaurant . Luigi is the most welcome host. Service is impeccable. The menu is limited but all items are done well beautifully.

Bellamy’s is one our favourite restaurants in London, good food, friendly and helpful staff, wonderful ambience, most importantly there is no annoying loud music so friends can actually have a conversation over a meal!

A truly great place for some exquisite French food. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and recommendations were spot on. Caviar was absolutely delicious as were our mains. Veal and Cod both perfect. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

Perfection. Just what I wanted. This was recommended by a friend and it is now my #1 restaurant in London. Living in Los Angeles, this is exactly the London experience I had been looking for a had not found before. The patrons are very well mannered, service is excellent, the food excellent and the ambience delightful.

Flawless in every respect. This is an old school London dining experience, the sort of which is hard to come by these days. The food was classic and slipped down a treat alongside an exceptional wine list. The staff made my grandmothers birthday one to remember and the bill was a pleasant surprise - expensive but not at all extortionate given the Mayfair location and overall quality. The generous quantity of minstrel chocolates at the end made me smile. I look forward to visiting again to savour their ever evolving menu; Bellamy's is truly something special.

Simply wonderful. There are plenty of new wizzy concept restaurants in Mayfair, some of which are great. Sometimes however you want a restaurant that won’t fail. With really good food, service (outstanding) and a nice atmosphere all in one. Highly recommend if that is the evening you are looking for. A special thank you to the team who looked after my guest while I was stuck in traffic.

When my friend who lives in London recommended this long time establishment, I went online and looked at the menu. It was predominantly seafood entrées. That, I’m not a fan of. I like poultry and meats. I was happy to discover they had options of those as well. I opted for the veal and it really was quite exquisite! It’s very old school and welcoming tucked away or the person wouldn’t find it so easily. It’s charming and will definitely be a place I return and take friends.

It's our 3rd time to go to Bellamy's, as the previous visits, we had a great dining experience there. The service was great, staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was great, traditional French cuisine. We liked the the decor as well.

Real gem of French haute cuisine.Dover sole and Rhubarb crumble were delicious, tender,melting in the mouth,unforgettable! Beautiful venue , friendly and professional staff. Great value for money. Will come again.

Very disappointed overall, was happy to organise a family diner there but cocktail to start was really not good (Moscow mule), tartar steak not good either (nerves in meat, not tasty at all), pomme pont-neuf served with meat were hardly cooked and to finish deserts were equally disappointing. Oysters only were good there. As prices are on the high side 100£ pp mini, so definitely not worthy for this disappointing quality level. A French restaurant is not just a French name …

Lovely restaurant- apparently the queen's favourite - in Mayfair. The steak tartare was without a doubt the best I have ever had and was absolutely divine. Understated but sophisticated, staff are friendly, polite and attentive. Wondeful to see Foie gras still on the menu, served with baskets of freshly toasted bread it is a real treat with a glass of desert wine. Fixed price menu is very affordable, but the a la carte is where the best plates are.

Simple but exceptionally good food at excellent value

I have been going to Bellamy’s for many years and it’s gets better every time I go. The value, service and atmosphere are fantastic and it’s always wonderful to dine there.

Good atmosphere and good restaurant overall. I guess service could be a bit better and faster but generally everything went well. The food was also pretty good— not the best french I ve ever eaten but still deserves a praise nonetheless.

I have been coming to this restaurant sporadically over the last 10 years and went for lunch today after not being for a year or so. This is probably my favourite restaurant in London given the excellent food, value and atmosphere. The service is brilliant and the manager Luigi is always very hospitable and attentive. I hope the standards will remain for many years to come. An absolute gem and the perfect restaurant. No wonder it was the late Queen’s favourite!

Gavin Rankin's "Bellamy's" is a special treat. I have family in the hospitality industry in Britain--I know a good restaurant or hotel when I see one. I enjoyed the cuisine of Bellamy's twice in late-October 2023; once with cousins and solo the next evening (it is worth a return trip!). The dining room under the maestro-manager, Mr. Luigi, is great. Starters to entree and dessert were all terrific. Wait staff very professional and friendly. And prices are reasonable for Mayfair. Run, don't walk to this destination. Bravo!

I ordered the 2 course lunch menu. The cold tomato soup with prawn was nice and fresh. The veal main dish was also good. Service was attentive. They should make it clear they have a cover charge to cover the bread and butter. Overall a good choice for French food in the bond st area.

A Mayfair classic. I’ve been coming here for years and the staff take great care of me. A classic brasserie menu. Never disappoints. Don’t miss the chilled lobster soufflé with a glass of champagne to start!

Absolutely amazing dinner. Best sole I have ever eaten, we also had the steak tartare, entrecôte and omelette aux chanterelles. Great wine: Crozes Hermitage. Everything was delicious, the service was impeccable. Si vous êtes français, allez-y, c’est vraiment de la très bonne cuisine française dans un cadre feutré.

The set menu was excellent, and very good value for cooking if this quality in Chelsea. Great ambience too, with very good service. But the prices are not quite what they seem with the cover charge added, so don’t assume you will end up paying set menu price. Wine markup far too high - like most restaurants

I had the devon crab salad, followed by the dover sole; with a peach melba for pudding. Also had at the table were: brown shrimp croquettes, foie gras, picatta of vea, Msrina's chocolate cake, and a psssionfruit sorbet. Each course was exquisite in presentation and taste. a delightful portion size, too; neither nouvelle nor overwhelming. Not the cheapest place I've eaten in Mayfair but nor was it the most expensive. Everyone agreed the service was on point, although medium busy, we felt insulated from other tables' conversations. The Maitre d' was a pleasant fellow and happy to join our conversation upon invitation. A gem in Belgravia.

I like this restaurant , have dined here twice in last month , super attentive staff , lovely food well presented , i would love to give it 5 stars , but on both occasions dining, one lunch one supper , its nearly impossible to conduct any meaningful conversation with your table as often drowned out in the 'din' around you .. overbooking or just terrible acoustics . just very hard to engage with your fellow diners , and its not the case this restaurant is full of loud drunk people, it's just an arms race to be heard. The short: I don't think I have had a better experience at a restaurant. Ill start with the service as it was impeccable, incredibly friendly , attentive and importantly relaxed. I did not feel rushed that restaurants ofter suffer from. We started with a perfectly prepared martini at the bar, a enjoyable and highly recommend way to start your evening. On being seated (and chatting for a while mot feeling rushed) we ordered the iced lobster soufflé which was delightful light served with very thin Toasted bread which complemented it well. I also orders the house white which was a very reasonable price for how good it was. I then had the Steak Tartare, something I would not get often as it needs to be of a certain quality. It was beyond a doubt the best I have had. Perfectly prepared, If you where to ever wish to try steak tartare this is where to do it! I was recommended the garden salad to go with I which did complement it well and I would also recommend. To finish I had the fantastic marina's chocolate cake. It being my birthday they also severed it with an elegant happy birthday piped on the plate (which was very tasty) and a candle, which was very sweet and really made by day. I cannot recommend highly enough, I had a fantastic experience. The staff in paricually have my thanks for making it such an enjoyable evening, so thank you for making tonight so enjoyable!

From the moment you enter the door, this place is special. I was quickly shown to my table, presented with the menu, drinks ordered, water and bread brought to the table. Staff were very attentive throughout, overseen by the floor manager. Food was excellent quality. Very reasonably priced options for central Mayfair. The best restaurant I have been to, and I will be returning next time I am in London.

Dinner for two, mar23. First time visit, after being a long standing user of Wilton’s. Positives: service, atmosphere, house red (£29, very good ), other guests nice, good location/setting, fair prices. Negatives: interiors rather barren and bit run down, food real nursery level (beans , mash, meat in sauce), menu not that appealing.

This is the best restaurant in Mayfair run by the unmatched Gavin Rankin. The classic food is cooked to perfection. The steak tartare is the best in London. A superb wine list is fairly priced and the service impeccable under the supervision of the famous Luigi. A proper place for lunch dinner or a special occasion.

First time dining at Bellamy's and we did not leave disappointed. Nestled just off of Berkley Square, the restaurant serves mainly european cuisine with a beautiful classic bar upon entrance and then an elegant, understated, old-school dining room off to the left. We started off with cocktails at the bar before heading off for dinner in the dining room. As a party of 2, we ordered the whitebait and tuna sashimi to start which were both simple but delicious. We both ordered rare steaks, spinach and frites for mains, which were juicy and cooked perfectly. To finish off the meal we both ordered puddings, including a lovely crumble. We were also treated to some delicious wines from a great, extensive wine menu. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner at Bellamy's with delicious food, great wine, good service, and a buzzy, old school atmosphere. I look forward to visiting again.

Had a very lovely experience last night at “Bellamy’s”. The veal was incredibly delicious as was the ravioli, and the service itself was phenomenal.

My husband and I had previously been here for a quick lunch and had been very impressed. We decided to book for a family friends dinner and I’m very pleased we did. From the minute we walked in the door to when we left we had a really lovely evening. We had drinks in the bar first which was lovely. The service was excellent throughout the evening all of the staff were extremely attentive and thoughtful without being too much! The menu is small but there is more than enough to chose from and all of our food was delicious. There is absolutely nothing I would change about our evening, thank you all very much we will definitely be back !

The closest thing to Paris, that we've found in London. The food and ambience were exactly what we had hoped for. We found many of our favourite French dishes on the menu, which were perfectly prepared and presented. Very good choice of wines as well.

Perfect birthday lunch Everything about this restaurant is wonderful...even the very reasonable set lunch prices. The food is of the very highest quality (and not tiny Michelin- portion sizes), as is the service; today we had the luck to be served by the delightful Maria. She was clearly so proud of where she worked and is a credit to this fine restaurant. As you would expect of the location, the clientele is very well-heeled (not like wot I ain't) but the atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and informal; everyone will be made to feel most welcome. And the most important thing? My wife was treating me and she loved it too. Can't wait to go back soon

It's a friendly, tasteful and elegant space. The food was well-prepared and presented. Although we had the worst table in the house, we managed to carry on a conversation and closed the place. Comfortable yet elegant.

Bellamy’s lived up to our expectations for our first visit. The service was excellent and attentive. The food was delicious and attractive. My cep croquette starter was full of flavour and the steak tartare well seasoned. The prices were very reasonable for Mayfair. Only downside was that we had expected a quieter environment but a birthday celebration of about 20 put paid to that! However we were moved without fuss to a quieter table and peace restored! We will certainly visit again.

Delicious food marred only by poor dessert on the set menu. I had chicken liver salad for starter and veal kidneys for main, both were fantastic. Dessert was an insipid looking glass with jelly that I was told was grape. No decoration, no appeal, no taste. Don’t be put off by this, just have the 2 courses!

Bellamy's is a fantastic Mayfair gem with a typically understated elegance and rather excellent Brasserie style French cuisine. As much suited to dinner for one's wife's birthday as it is for a business lunch on a Wednesday. The Lobster souffle was very light and perfectly poised, and the Steak Tartare and veal piccata very well executed. The service was wonderfully attentive and we were made to feel very much part of the little club despite not having visited in many years.

The lobster starter was exquisite, the entrecōte of beef so tender, and the Tunisian Orange Almond sponge.....delicious. This is a really remarkable restaurant and I would urge anybody, in search of fine cuisine in the heart of London, to enjoy this fabulous restaurant. Gavin Rankin...

Went for lunch for the first time the other week and have been pondering on the experience. I remember the food as being good but not memorable and the front of house seemed to be rushing around as if another couple of staff were needed....

Was underwhelmed by the food, which was OK but not what you’d expect for the price. The service was fine. It was packed at lunchtime so obviously knows its market, which doesn’t appear to be me!
