Das "The greenhouse" liegt zwar etwas versteckt aber weiß in der produzierten Qualität wirklich zu beeindrucken. Sowohl das Service als auch das aktuelle Menu und die Weinauswahl ließen keine Wünsche übrig. Wir können dieses Lokal nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wollen sie einen tollen Abned gönnen - gehen sie hin!

Accueil très "British" tout en élégance, même si nous avons ressenti une petite pointe d'anxiété dans le regard du maître d’hôtel à la vue de la plus jeune de nos filles... Confortablement installés dans une salle à l'atmosphère feutrée, nous nous sommes laissés porter tout au long d'un service impeccable, enchaînant des plats savoureux et à la présentation magnifique. L'harmonie des textures et des goûts est parfaite, les produits d'une extraordinaire qualité, notamment un foie gras qui s'avère provenir d'une ferme située à quelques km de chez nous (un peu de chauvinisme ne peut pas nuire...) A noter également une viande magnifique servie spécialement pour notre fille et découpée spontanément par la serveuse, ainsi qu'un pigeon comme jamais nous n'en avions goûté, bref un délice intégral. On frôle la perfection du début à la fin du repas, et le sommelier n'est pas en reste, proposant un accord avec des vins des quatre coins du mondes, très original et parfaitement ajusté au menu. On ne voudrait pas que la soirée se termine, mais il faut bien finir pourtant, et la note nous rappelle que l'on est à Londres...

Hemos visitado durante muchos años, desafortunadamente después de 2 malas experiencias que estamos intentando en otro lugar. Cuando el chef cambió, las porciones se hicieron más pequeñas, lo que solía interponerse entre platos gratis, ahora están en el menú si quieres comerlas a un precio. Las porciones son inconsistentes, la carne wagu tiene un suplemento 75, la primera vez, dos tiras, la segunda vez una tira cortada en 4 trozos. Tenemos la sensación de ser "estafados". Puedes comer en un restaurante de 3 estrellas Michelin por el mismo precio.

Este es un restaurante para cuando quieres celebrar o tienes una razón especial para querer una comida especial. El servicio es perfecto (y no uso esa descripción a la ligera). Muy profesional a pesar de que muchos de los empleados son jóvenes. Hay dos opciones de comidas: 4 o 6 platos, pero ambos vienen con numerosos cursos pequeños adicionales. No pudimos terminar la versión de 4 platos, pero fue muy difícil no terminar cada plato. Delicioso.

小さな緑のガーデンに囲まれた隠れ家的レストラン。 4コースを頼みましたが、いずれも本当に美味しかった。 料理に合わせて赤 白のグラスワインをお願いしたが、特に白ワインは素晴らしいマッチングでビックリしました。 夜は満席にはなっていなかったが、雰囲気を考えると緑が感じられるランチの方がこのレストランの良さを感じられるのかもしれない。 デザートだけは少し甘すぎて僕達には少しヘビーでした。

We celebrated our Xmas works lunch, 8 people. The food was very nice on all accounts and the wine was exceptional, that said we were paying for some very nice bottles so you would expect no less. The criticism I have is the supplement costs attached to quite a few of the dishes, or certainly my starter and main. Whilst I appreciate fine tuna and wagyu beef are very much a treat, when paying considerable supplements in a restaurant which is high end anyway, I do expect a serving resembling a dish and not three minute pieces with ornate decorations, my main was very very expensive in deed as was my starter, had it not been the fact that our boss was paying then I certainly would have complained. There is no need to limit the size of dishes to such small quantities, I and many others found ourselves filing up on bread, which although very nice is totally pointless in going out for lunch. Whilst cost are crucial to any business there does come a point where you will lose more clients than you gain if you continue. The cheese was amazing, would I return ? possible not and I love fine dinning.

We had dinner at this amazing restaurant at the beginning of November 2018 but I still remember just how great the experience was. We took the tasting menu which was just out of this world, full of balanced flavours, variety and techniques. But hands down the biggest surprise was how great the sommelier was. I'm sorry I can't remember his name but he was a young French man with glasses and his passion, enthusiasm and love of his craft were unlike anything I've ever seen. Congratulations and I wish all the team of the Green House lot of success

Une superbe table ce deux étoiles... le seul bémol est le côté sombre de la salle mais la lumière est dans tous les plats. Nous avons pris le menu degustation a 125 livres et pour londres c'est un tres bon rapport qualité prix. J'ai ete subjugué par l'entrée crabe menthe... un joli pari que d'associer ces 2 ingrédients et cela fonctionne à merveille avec une délicatesse hors norme. L'agneau avec l'harissa m'a également plu et le dessert à la pêche avec juste la pêche et aucune sucrosite était une merveille. Bravo au sommelier qui est extrêmement professionnel et passionné. On s'est régalé avec le domaine David sadie en Afrique du Sud. Bouteille assez rare...

We had the tasting menu in the private room and truly, this is as close to perfection as a dining experience can ever get. Clearly the private room was a good idea for a family celebration, keeping us slightly separated from the busy dining room. The service was not just flawless but characterised by a natural kindness one rarely witness. The cuisine is a poem, and every course is worth one. Special mention to the yuzu infused scallop tartare with green tomato - makes your tastebuds so happy. I stop here, and do not want to hear a word about it being expensive - at maybe double the price of an average London dinner this is worth every penny and more. It gives you lifetime memories as a bonus.

A mid week dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the place was almost full of corporate diners. The place looks tired and the food not good enough. Tasting menus was interesting with mixed reviews from us. Even though we are well aware that the portions are small, we still left hungry. Service was good except for the smell of tobacco smoke on one of the head waiters. Disappointed.

Reservamos a través de SQUAREMEAL este restaurante, ya que experiencias este restaurante y otros 4 están sirviendo de carne de Japón, para HEDAGYU un tiempo limitado en Londres. Llegamos allí y para ser sincero, el ambiente era muy bueno, el servicio era bueno, el personal era muy atento, pero la calidad y especialmente la cantidad ERA MUY POBRE Y NOS COBRARON alrededor de £300 para 2 personas sin tener ningún licor! La carne (como lo llaman) fue de 1 x 2 pulgadas y supongo que les pesó 30 gramos. Yo nunca se lo recomiendo a nadie este restaurante! ! ! ! ! !

Everyone was nice and helpful 3) lunch tasting has the option to add half a bottle of wine... Get it!!! It's a steal!! Overall we loved everything and cannot wait to go back next time we are in London!

Nous étions à Londres en avril et nous avions entendu que certains restaurant Londoniens surpassaient certains étoilés parisiens....pour les gastronomes que nous sommes...on s'est dit " essayons.." ....eh ben wahouh ...Georgous....même notre fille de 8 ans a adoré ...Tout était bon ( je mets juste un bémol au dessert à la rhubarbe...et encore...) . Mais franchement tout était parfait, le service, la déco et alors la cuisine...wonderfull, comme dit dans le titre j'en salive encore..Certes prix haut de gamme mais au même rang que la cuisine ...

Discreetly located this lovely French restaurant is off the beaten track yet right near to the heart of things. From the minute the champagne aperitif was discuss you just knew it was going to be a great experience! The staff were charming and knowledgeable. The menu was creative yet based on amazing quality ingredients. The flavours were layered and exciting. We chose from the a la carte but there was a set menu for only £40. 2 Michelin Stars for £40!! No wonder the place was buzzing! With 32 different cheeses to choose from the meal ended as it began - perfectly.

I do not recall how we discovered the Green House, but we're glad that we did. We have dined as a couple, with business associates and have hosted a small board meeting, in their glass-enclosed "private room." We have dined there through two chefs, IIRC.One enters from the end of Hays Mews, into what appears to be a Japanese Garden, and then into a contemporary dining room.This visit found us with our foundation president (retired, but a board member), and it was her second visit.As per our usual, we went with the Chef's Seasonal Tasting Menu, and also the Sommelier's Pairing Menu. I can only recall twice, when this was not our choice, and one of those was for the board dinner, when we had a very nice, albeit fixed menu.We started with Champagne, while the staff and the kitchen began to work their magic.Dishes and wines just began appearing, as if from thin air. The service at Green House is almost transparent (Michelin Two-Star, at the very least), and I often wonder if they employ ghosts. If one looks up, the next dish appears, at precisely the correct time.While the Chef's Tasting Menus change, and usually on a seasonal basis, each, while different, has been very good to excellent. The presentations are also something to behold, and fortunately, the lighting over the table is adequate to appreciate the art work.The wine pairings have always been great, with seldom a mis-step. We have even had the sommelier bring a few wines, to get some feedback on a tricky dish. So far, I have only ordered my wines once, but have looked through the wonderful wine list. If the sommelier was not so good, I would love to play with that list, but then I know excellence, when I see (and taste) it.For an elegant, exciting and delicious meal, I highly recommend Green House - just go to the very end of Hays Mews (don't worry, it really is back there), and turn right, into that Asian Garden.

I love this 2 starred michelin restaurant. The staff are very helpful with lots of recommendations, the wine waiter was great. They have 2 tasting menu's both can have the pairing wines with. Plus A La Carte. We love to have the discovery menu as you don't know whats coming so makes it a gastronomic adventure! But quite a lot to get through. First time we have been on a Friday & it was very busy, & at times we felt a little rushed, but when we asked for the food to slow down, it was no problem. Would recommend & visit again, just wished it were a bit closer to home!

The room is the perfect balance of calm and activity and makes for an extremely pleasant dinner. The food is exceptional and truly deserves the two stars. The service is attentional and professional but not intrusive. The wine list is extensive with good choices at multiple price points. We had tasting menu with wines, which we were enjoying. Everything else was good, kinda tasted like green, you could find connecting theme between dishes. We did one change to the menu's, unfortunately waiter did mix my and guest's plates. While we were waiting our desserts, waiter brought the bill on the table without any of us asking it. That caused a scene, as our guest understood it as a sign that we should leave the restaurant. We were explained that it was miscommunication between their staff, and this was made up with some extra dessert and skipping service part in the bill. I would say that level of food was good, but there was something wrong with the service. In this kind of place you wait "perfect experience" but that day something was lacking of it. Fortunately the supervisor took good care of us after the mistakes, that made up quite a lot.

This exquisite gem of a restaurant nestles away in a quiet space, accessed through a calmingly tranquil garden. We were impressed by the comfortable vibe of being in a place where attention to every single detail was covered. The table settings were enhanced by individual sculptures, dainty but not intrusive works of art.The menu was astoundingly inventive, and when our courses arrived we were genuinely very impressed by the skill and artistry that it had taken to create them. No showy strangeness as is evident in some fashionable restaurants these days, no snail porridges, but simply the best possible ingredients at the peak of their condition and respectfully understood and treated to bring out their best qualities.This restaurant is exceptionally good. Just make sure you get an invitation from someone extremely rich! The prices are very expensive, but reflect the highest standards of cuisine.

En tant que française, je suis souvent déçue par les restaurants étoilés à l'étranger. Mais ici, pas de mauvaise surprise ! Des classiques bien sur (foi gras, homard, agneau...) mais avec à chaque fois une touche originale qui sublime le plat et nous surprend sans que l'on s'y attende. À noter aussi : la plus grande cave à vins de Grande Bretagne et un sommelier à la hauteur. Une petite déception cependant : tous les serveurs parlent français, ce qui n'aide pas au dépaysement.

Will find it difficult to put into words how magical this evening was. Walking through London's streets on a chilly November night; sparkling Christmas lights and a pre-dinner cocktail helped to set the scene. The restaurant itself is hidden away from the hustle and bustle. We chose against the tasting menu in the end, as it included foie gras; to which neither my husband and I are partial. Scallops, fish and pork were ordered instead, followed by a delicious chocolate dessert and a selection from a cheese trolley, which itself was the size of a table! Friendly, helpful and cheerful staff made us feel comfortable, but at the same time rather privileged. Smart/casual wear is perfectly fine by the way (always helps to know the dress code).

confortable dining room, sharp service and some very delicious plates. stand out dish was a raw scallop dish with green tomato gelee so fresh and delishes, well accomplished cooking. sweetbreads with lettuce veloute were also delicious and interesting. desserts were well executed but lacked flavour on some dishes.

Ein bisschen versteckt liegt dieses traumhafte Restaurant. Wir hatten zum Lunch reserviert, ich war casual gekleidet (Chino&New Balance Sneakers) , aber man fühlt sich sehr wohl in dem Restaurant, es ist edel, aber nicht steif. Der Service ist exzellent und unaufdringlich. Die Portionen sind eher klein, aber köstlich (z.B. Rohes Kartoffelnest in Trüffelessenz, Basilikummousse als Dessert), es gibt sehr gute Weine auch glasweise. Alles ist mit Liebe dekoriert und serviert, also ein besonderes Erlebnis. Man sitzt dort in aller Ruhe fernab des Trubels auf den Straßen. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung meinerseits (es gibt auch köstliches Brot mit Algenbutter und einen kleinen Gruß aus der Küche), alle Vorurteile über Englisches Essen werden hier widerlegt.

We had lunch for our wedding anniversary and tried the tasting menu. It was very good. The atmosphere was a bit cold and the service fine. The restaurant is lacking a "je ne sais quoin", not sure of this is the deco/atmosphere/lighting? Missing friendly nice atmosphere I suppose.
