The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving French food

We had a wonderful lunch today full traditional Sunday roast, highly recommend. Piping hot, all homemade, fabulous find.

We just had the most amazing dinner here - it was so good, I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu! We shared the crab won tong to start, then my friend had the chicken supreme for main, which was succulent and was served with a lovely potato fondant. I had the lamb rump, served medium rare, on a bed of babaganoush, and with a side of an enormous platter of tagine, unctuous with stewed lamb, which I shared with my friend. We didn't really have room for dessert, but with food this good, we didn't want to miss out, and my friend's crumble + ice-cream and my lemon meringue tart didn't disappoint. All washed down with a carafe of the house red, a full-bodied Merlot. Wow! Just wow!! Get there quick before everyone else finds it!

We arrived to a very warm welcome indeed from Gill (a former colleague of my partner David) to celebrate my 80th birthday with afternoon tea along with two good friends . We cannot praise the service, ambience and the food highly enough - the owner Val even popping her head round the doorway to ask if we were being treated well? We certainly were - this was to the standard of a top London hotel and what a bargain at £25, having a few years ago paid £10 for a coffee & scone on the terrace of Buckingham Palace! A very quirky instagrammable space for food and drink, however the lobster I ordered it wasn't much for the price

Visitamos aquí un sábado por la noche, ya que ha sido recientemente inaugurado. Me quedé muy impresionado con él, la camarera fue muy amable y eficiente. La comida llegó rápido y estaba muy bien preparado. Opté por el risotto y era precioso. Mi novia tiene la SODA burger y quedé impresionado con esto. En general, fue excelente y sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

Probé este restaurante recientemente, ya que acabo de mudarme a Battersea y sin duda volveré. Tuve la muy buena langosta bisque y perfectamente cocinado bastidor de cordero con un maridaje de vinos encantador que el gerente recomendó para la comida. En general fue una noche encantadora con comida brillante y un servicio amable! ¡Muy recomendable!

An excellent evening spent at Isabels, we had drinks in the bar, an excellent starter, beautiful main meals and delightful dessert followed by Irish coffee.

A really lovely place to eat. The food was excellent and the service was excellent. There was no rush to eat which was really nice. My friend and I both really enjoyed ourselves. Well done.

Was so good the first time we went, I booked again 2 weeks later. Lovely cosy restaurant oozing with charm. Brilliant service. And the food...beyond any superlative that I could muster. An a la carte and Set Menu offering a Soupe du jour, Starter du jour and Plat du jour. It's a good job we don't live locally as I'd be eating here every night:) Can't wait to go back.
