Such a selection of items at this shop. Thought it was mainly pastys but they make amazing sandwiches/baguettes to order so you can pick your fillings and are really fresh. Plenty of cakes to choose from too. The real icing on the cake though are the lovely friendly staff who are always cheerfu

What can I say. Arrived in Honiton a town i know well, but not my town of residence. On a cold January evening, just gone 6pm. Decided for ease, Fish & Chips would do. Entered their establishment, 3 screened counters, 2 staff & one customer. Ordered immediately to stand outside, as only one person allowed on at a time. Paid 10.50 for Fish, Chips & Sauce. The young girl served me, who was pleasant, while the own slumped over the till deep into her phone. Rude! They were over cooked, rubbery, had a strange taste as if the fat was old. Could not finish them, had to throw them away. For a proprietor who owns there own business, she had zero customer respect. Which is why they own & always will do, a sleazy chip shop on a sleazy street in a small town. Not a place to visit or even give them the grace of your hard earned money.

I was informed that my order would be ready in 10 minutes, but it actually took 30 minutes. Additionally, my order was incorrect.

Great traditional fish and chips! Lush squidgy and crispy chips, crispy battered hake! Lots of mixed reviews about pricing here, I didn’t think the prices were high considering you’re in a small seaside town which is entirely seasonal and you’re getting really fresh fish!! you should pay a premium! A large chips is fine between two hungry people, the portion sizes are really generous!

Chicken very dry and flavourless.

Had special fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls tonight. Do not eat there it went in the bin it was absolutely disgusting. Will never order from here again!!

These were not "Quality Fish & Chips". The chips were dry and overcooked. The fish was miniscule and the batter was thick, undercooked, and mostly raw. Would be hard to make it any worse. Disgusting!

I’ve not been for awhile but I found the counter staff to be friendly, good clean oil and a decent sized OAP portion of fish ‘n’ chips with a can of sprite for just over a tenner. The batter was lovely and thin on a nice piece of fresh fish and the chips were cooked well.
