McDonald's in Torridge

Served in the drive through by a lovely, warm young woman with gorgeous blonde hair and kind blue eyes. Wonderful service provided with a smile, really made my day. Keep up the good work!

It's a McDonald's, what can I tell you? Bang average food, cheap, convenient and sometimes hot.

I do enjoy a McDonald's, especially the cappuccinos. Lovely friendly staff, always nice and clean. Always a quick service.

McDonald's is a good fast food restaurant usually the food is cooked and given to you in under 15 mins and the food tastes quite good.

Really nicely put together, freshly hot food as far as a maccys go ... But always always busy probably to be fair with it's position opposite a main shopping center.... The staff always seem to be doing there best but usually to rushed to comment on service

I went in shortly after 8am on 31/12/24, order came to £15.96. The young lad serving at the counter that handed me my order had long fingernails with what looked like day's worth of visible filth under all of them. My entire order went in the bin, totally put me off. If you can't follow basic hygiene you shouldn't be handling people's food.

Worst customer service ever girl in charge was about 5 years old had no clue how to solve a issue that had arisen pointless having a manger like that

The manager has got no respect for her workers she's screaming across the building towards staff.despite her big ego she is clearly incompetent on her role of her job. She doesn't serve food in time and was left cold.

We're all unwell in the TuckerTimes household so the Mrs surprised us with a McDonalds, by surprised us, I mean McDonald's forgot the Happy Meal and we all know they'll blame Uber for it. So, as I would expect any parent to do, I forfeited my meal and gave it to my spawn, I was able to convince him that the chicken share box was a "special happy meal" but they don't have any toys. Even that box wasn't assembled properly. The straw was missing but they remembered the drink for the (un)happy meal. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 If this branch was a start up business it would fail. Time after time they get things wrong, send out cold food or even better overcook food.

The ladies that do the lobby(tables) are now also trained to do till, certain things like fries and drinks and even uber orders. So don't whinge if your table is not 100% clean and always clear up after yourself. There is no vat charged for eating in; that's why there are 3 bins for you to use. This employer has also cut hours due to N I. contributions raising. Be nice, be kind, be appreciated. Merry Christmas

Food okay, its mcdonalds what else do you expect

Visited in half term so it was very busy but food was quick and staff ok. Know what your getting which is good when visiting the area

Food was cold and a long time coming the lady supervisor didn't understand what an assistant dog was until shown the card that says it's a criminal offence under the disability act not to allow an assisting dog with its owner. We frequent McDonald's and have never received such a negative response.

Ordered breakfast at around 10:30. Delivery driver got there and presumably got turned away. This happened with five separate delivery drivers which ended us up at 12:30 with no food and no idea what was happening. Called McDonald’s who said it was a delivery problem not a McDonald’s problem and conveniently as soon as we put the phone down McDonald’s cancelled our order.

Had a takeaway the other day and they forgot my burger. No way to refund as they blamed Uber. I deleted the app, won't be using them again.

We ordered online, and when the food got here half of the order was missing, none of us got a drink when we all ordered one, 2 of us got large but the large chips had exactly the same of chips as the normal did so paid extra to get no extra. whenever I ring to explain what happened (yes not the first time I've had missing items) the staff couldn't give a s**t. which is probs why they work for a company that also doesn't give a s**t... we never be eating here again... trash...

Cheap, clean, and filling. That's all I need.

Popped in coffee and muffin ....all clean and tidy...a few families in and also some carers with OAP's that were bring taken out for the day. Lovely to see them enjoying it as much as us.

Food was tad colder than normal was very busy for time of day

Came in for some hot drinks as our car had broken down and we had been waiting for the RAC the lady that served me was lovely she spoke to the manager and delivered our drink free of charge thank you so much 💓

Absoulutely atrocious service here. Staff can be extremely rude, always messing around or standing around chatting, more often than not the order is wrong or they forget the sauces. Always takes ages to get my order too, awful place.

Second time now this has happened, ordered breakfast for delivery, they took payment straight away, yet cancelled order with 15 minutes left of breakfast (45 mins after I ordered) no explanation as to why, this also happened on the 10/8/24 also and i have still not received my refund of nearly £40 from order placed over 2 months ago .... phoned them and had a very rude young lady tell me it's all uber that deals with it, phoned uber, got told its mcdonalds that'll sort it, sent round in circles and still not had my money back. Bideford mcdonalds is by far the worst mcdonalds I have ever dealt with. Sort it out.... will not be using this establishment again.

Came in around 10:30 and was about 6 people in the restaurant , yet my order took 20 minutes,, furthermore to that if the staff weren’t messing around the entire time and touching each other inappropriately my food might have been faster although seeing members of staff nattering about customers and eating the food they serve is absolutely disgusting,, the food was cold the staff ..including the manager couldn’t care less about the behaviour of his employees or their Acton’s ,, would avoid eating here it’s like watching kids run a kitchen with the struggle to work definitely need a reconsideration on employing these staff, ps the manager loves the chips he was eating that I got served,

Our experience at this mcdonalds was not great it smelt like sick and our food tastes like cardboard the toilets were moderately clean though the handle was very sticky

Check your coffee cups as prone to give half measures. Not sure how this would affect profit margins so assume staff not calibrated the machine correctly.

We know what we're getting here, shitty food at average prices but it's quick and easy and it gives the youth somewhere to have a first job

Milkshake machine is always broken.... But food is good!

Had a take away from here, they brought the food to the car, said it was all in there, checked the burger, we were missing the chips, i went back in and said and they gave me the chips, no quibbling. Then when we left and I opened the grilled chicken and bacon salad, I had been given a crispy chicken. This isn't the 1st time that we have had food from here and it's been wrong or the milkshakes and mcflurry machine hasn't been working

Came here whilst on holiday for the week. The staff were very helpful and friendly, I can't fault Mc Donalds at all. However my experience has now been tarnished due to receiving a parking fine for using their car park! Despite being part of a complex where you can park, eat and do some shopping (I had also gone into Aldi for a few things) you'd better do it all within 90 minutes or be charged £60 for the pleasure!

Changed since I was a child. Quite busy.lots of 'hot food' shops along the harbour.

Very cold inside the building, We ordered table service and never got it went to the counter and it had been left there all in bags they went to put it on the tray cold refused it so they had to do the whole order again advenually arrived at our table half hour later, We then ordered 3 mc flurries 2 coffee one being latta sent two flat so had to again go to the counter and get it changed, Floor dirty tables not cleaned properly all in all not good will not be going there again.

Food came quickly and arrived hot not lukewarm like some McDonald's. Staff friendly and conveniently located next to our hotel.

Avoid - Visited on the 21st July just after 11am (ticket number 004), normally we don't have a issue, but this time the food took ages to arrive and clearly was split ( 8 mins after first wrap arrived in the bag) whilst they made other stuff. With other customers getting their food first, who ordered after us.. The big issue was what / how ever it was made wasn't done correctly as a few hrs later I suffered from extreme food position later that day... It had to have come from here as I didn't eat anything else that day. Come on Bideford get it sorted..

By far the worst McDonald's in the country. It's our local so have no other choice if we fancy the golden arches. The wait is always long, regardless of how we order (drive through, restaurant, click and Serve) Staff always rude, bored, indifferent and painfully slow. And again, without exception the order always wrong.

I'm sure there are staff here that care, but unfortunately their efforts are being ruined by a certain few, who are just infantile and rude. You know who you are, grow up. The last 3 visits I've made, have been ruined by staff more interesting in fooling around and preoccupied to care. Unfortunately this has a knock on effect, of slowing the service down, which is why it ranks as the slowest, mcdonalds, I've had the displeasure of visiting. I live in the town but from now on, I'd rather make the 20 mile round trip to Barnstaple, so I can get treated with some respect.

Food was good 😊. But there was a problem with order. We ordered other burgers and we get only vegan burgers. This happened 3 times. I am okay with that, but still i didn't get what I ordered 😞. Also I didn't check the order at that time. So I couldn't information that to the store staff.

Not open 24 hours disappointing will not return. Meant to be open 24 hours when we came told us they just threw all the food away and couldn’t serve us. Wasting food in this day should be a crime in itself as well as turning away hungry customers!

Waited 2 hours for food to be delivered through the app. Once it arrived, it was cold. If delivery is offered, it should meet expectations.

One of the not so good McDonald's. The screen for the orders wasn't working & the staff didn't shout with confidence so the customers could hear.

I ordered meals and non of my fries came and said they can’t deliver them back and last time they forgot my selects not happy and it’s all the time next time I’m coming up and getting them if they don’t come

DO NOT EAT HERE. We orderd on the app with bay parking mcdonald's took our order and money just for the "manager" to come say to us we have closed this was at 9.45pm due to "technical issues" we have tried to get a refund though the app but this isn't possible. Shame on Mcdonald's.

Good place to people watch and have a coffee

I rarely go to McDonalds but when I do the food here is always hot and well made. Its worth the trip from Barnstaple because its better than the McDonalds there. I normally order on the app and then just collect or drive through. I last ordered late at night on the drive through and the food was good.

Slowest mcdonalds iv been to for service. Every time I go there be it busy or no one in front of me on drive through it takes forever to get served. And I'd say 8 out 10 times you ask for a mcflurry the machine is not working. Worst iv been too.

Missed half the meal which we paid for and when asked for the food they said no and some punk who was scared to do his job got anrgy and irrate when i said i wanted to take it further, accused me of treatening him and hung up. cold food, no burger. stole my money, didnt care when told and then staff doesnt know how to keep there cool.

Ordered the large the big&cheesy and bacon they sent me 6 chicken nuggets instead they told me to go on the app for refund and there they boot is saying to call uber eats? Why I have to call uber eats when you're the wrong one?. Another strike on mcdonalds bideford big mac without the bun 😂😂😂

I am disgusted with McDonald’s tonight. I had ordered food for delivery and only two items came and my drinks that leaves two of us without food and all McDonald’s could say was I will give you a refund on the missing items they couldn’t send out a delivery driver, they said they don’t have the money or time, it is Disgusting I am fuming the milkshakes that I ordered was not even drinkable and the Chicken nuggets were cold I don’t know what is going on with McDonald’s, but it has gone downhill a lot. Do not recommend.

The delivery time is a joke. The order was cancelled after an hour and 10 minutes of waiting because the driver couldn’t complete their delivery. This is the second time this has happened. Terrible customer service. Definitely the worst McDonald’s in the area.

I had a chicken and bacon salad here and it was nice. The carrots had a bit of a weird taste to them, so I didn't eat them, but the rest of it was okay.. this restaurant was quite popular, not much seating available when we arrived and a little wait for food, but it was nice, would recommend this restaurant.

The food was standard McDonalds, which the kids love and always wolf down. One of my boys won a free Mcflurry and the other younger boy couldn't understand why he hadn't won anything. This upset him. The front of house lady, Sarah, saw this and went out of her way to cheer him up with unwanted happy meal gifts and stickers she had collected fom past promotions. This kind gesture absolutely made his day and turned a grumpy four year old into the happiest boy there. Thank you Sarah!!

Far too small a site for people to visit; the roof overhang, when raining directs the run off water right into the car if going through the drive thru; the burgers we were served had seen better days and not fresh or appetising at all...... Over all...... Not the best out there 😔

This place can never seem to get a order right

Ordered my meal at the drive through and halloumi fries were missing walk back into restaurant told staff given a bag went back to car and the bag had chips in it. Wouldn't recommend.

For the 4th time this month no mcflurrys. Hot chocolate that tastes like brown water. Also forgot half the order. Sort it out, this used to be one of the best mcdonalds and is now useless.

The is the best local Mc Donald’s. It’s usually clean, food is high quality and service is pretty good. The restaurant has got my order wrong a hand full of times but helpful employees sorted it out. All the employees seem friendly as well. If your in the area I recommend coming to this Mc Donald’s than the other ones.

Drive through experience 19/02/24 .....Every time we use this Mcdonalds we are either waiting 5 mins for an order (usually because one item isn't sitting under the warming system e.g double cheeseburger ) resulting in the other items all being cold...or we just order a standard Bigmac meal and again chips are barely edible because they are cold. Last night after receiving my order ...again having to wait ages.... I actually decided to drive back around and complain (the first time I have ever done this) because I was so annoyed at yet again the chips being cold...the burger wasn't much better! The milkshake machine is almost never working (surely it cannot be a mechanical problem again...more like they cannot be bothered to have to clean it) Although the staff are always polite and friendly there is a clear lack of management ...its like a teenage disco in there at times...a lot of staff ...yes... but all doing what? Not cooking thats for sure!!! The whole outlet is basically being run by kids!!

Ordered food when there was a handful of customers in the place. Waited over 45 minutes, in the end had to say to a manager who was very rude. Stormed off made our order which when we got home it was completely wrong and at best the food was warm. This has got to be the worse experience of a McDonald’s I have ever had. Never again

Shocking, ordered a Mc Donalds delivery only to get a text message over a hour and 15 minutes later to say that my order had been cancelled. Ring Mc Donalds to complain only to be told all the UberEATS drivers had gone back home. Why let me order then and take over an hour to cancel. To make things worse my refund will take between 5 and 15 days and no mention of the 5000 points I used on order. Absolute muppets and very poor management to let that happen. Will never use the delivery service again.

Only had as a quick feed for me and to take to my mate in Bude. As usual it's a dry burger and fry's that I don't know what's made of. Service was really good and friendly though
