Breakfast menu was all served hot and fresh. Service very quickly clean restaurant.

Came here whilst on holiday for the week. The staff were very helpful and friendly, I can't fault Mc Donalds at all. However my experience has now been tarnished due to receiving a parking fine for using their car park! Despite being part of a complex where you can park, eat and do some shopping (I had also gone into Aldi for a few things) you'd better do it all within 90 minutes or be charged £60 for the pleasure!

Changed since I was a child. Quite busy.lots of 'hot food' shops along the harbour.

Very cold inside the building, We ordered table service and never got it went to the counter and it had been left there all in bags they went to put it on the tray cold refused it so they had to do the whole order again advenually arrived at our table half hour later, We then ordered 3 mc flurries 2 coffee one being latta sent two flat so had to again go to the counter and get it changed, Floor dirty tables not cleaned properly all in all not good will not be going there again.

Food came quickly and arrived hot not lukewarm like some McDonald's. Staff friendly and conveniently located next to our hotel.

Avoid - Visited on the 21st July just after 11am (ticket number 004), normally we don't have a issue, but this time the food took ages to arrive and clearly was split ( 8 mins after first wrap arrived in the bag) whilst they made other stuff. With other customers getting their food first, who ordered after us.. The big issue was what / how ever it was made wasn't done correctly as a few hrs later I suffered from extreme food position later that day... It had to have come from here as I didn't eat anything else that day. Come on Bideford get it sorted..

By far the worst McDonald's in the country. It's our local so have no other choice if we fancy the golden arches. The wait is always long, regardless of how we order (drive through, restaurant, click and Serve) Staff always rude, bored, indifferent and painfully slow. And again, without exception the order always wrong.

I'm sure there are staff here that care, but unfortunately their efforts are being ruined by a certain few, who are just infantile and rude. You know who you are, grow up. The last 3 visits I've made, have been ruined by staff more interesting in fooling around and preoccupied to care. Unfortunately this has a knock on effect, of slowing the service down, which is why it ranks as the slowest, mcdonalds, I've had the displeasure of visiting. I live in the town but from now on, I'd rather make the 20 mile round trip to Barnstaple, so I can get treated with some respect.

Utterly delinquent, incompetent and rude staff. Just laughed at me and my family with crying baby as wed waited 20 mins int he drive through queue only to be lied to an humiliated. Horrible people

Food was OK, however, it was cold because four members of staff were far more interested in a conversation about their boyfriend's tiktok account while my order went cold in front of them 🤣

Food was good 😊. But there was a problem with order. We ordered other burgers and we get only vegan burgers. This happened 3 times. I am okay with that, but still i didn't get what I ordered 😞. Also I didn't check the order at that time. So I couldn't information that to the store staff.

The restaurant was very clean. Service was excellent. The staff were very polite and helpful. Food was hot and fresh. Thank you for a good experience

Not open 24 hours disappointing will not return. Meant to be open 24 hours when we came told us they just threw all the food away and couldn’t serve us. Wasting food in this day should be a crime in itself as well as turning away hungry customers!

Waited 2 hours for food to be delivered through the app. Once it arrived, it was cold. If delivery is offered, it should meet expectations.

One of the not so good McDonald's. The screen for the orders wasn't working & the staff didn't shout with confidence so the customers could hear.

I ordered meals and non of my fries came and said they can’t deliver them back and last time they forgot my selects not happy and it’s all the time next time I’m coming up and getting them if they don’t come

DO NOT EAT HERE. We orderd on the app with bay parking mcdonald's took our order and money just for the "manager" to come say to us we have closed this was at 9.45pm due to "technical issues" we have tried to get a refund though the app but this isn't possible. Shame on Mcdonald's.

Good place to people watch and have a coffee

I rarely go to McDonalds but when I do the food here is always hot and well made. Its worth the trip from Barnstaple because its better than the McDonalds there. I normally order on the app and then just collect or drive through. I last ordered late at night on the drive through and the food was good.

Slowest mcdonalds iv been to for service. Every time I go there be it busy or no one in front of me on drive through it takes forever to get served. And I'd say 8 out 10 times you ask for a mcflurry the machine is not working. Worst iv been too.

Missed half the meal which we paid for and when asked for the food they said no and some punk who was scared to do his job got anrgy and irrate when i said i wanted to take it further, accused me of treatening him and hung up. cold food, no burger. stole my money, didnt care when told and then staff doesnt know how to keep there cool.

Ordered the large the big&cheesy and bacon they sent me 6 chicken nuggets instead they told me to go on the app for refund and there they boot is saying to call uber eats? Why I have to call uber eats when you're the wrong one?. Another strike on mcdonalds bideford big mac without the bun 😂😂😂

I am disgusted with McDonald’s tonight. I had ordered food for delivery and only two items came and my drinks that leaves two of us without food and all McDonald’s could say was I will give you a refund on the missing items they couldn’t send out a delivery driver, they said they don’t have the money or time, it is Disgusting I am fuming the milkshakes that I ordered was not even drinkable and the Chicken nuggets were cold I don’t know what is going on with McDonald’s, but it has gone downhill a lot. Do not recommend.

The chips was hot but the nuggets was like left out for ages and was room temp and got my order wrong the past 4 times I was there idiots

The delivery time is a joke. The order was cancelled after an hour and 10 minutes of waiting because the driver couldn’t complete their delivery. This is the second time this has happened. Terrible customer service. Definitely the worst McDonald’s in the area.

Chips very anaemic and soft all three lots were the same

I had a chicken and bacon salad here and it was nice. The carrots had a bit of a weird taste to them, so I didn't eat them, but the rest of it was okay.. this restaurant was quite popular, not much seating available when we arrived and a little wait for food, but it was nice, would recommend this restaurant.

The food was standard McDonalds, which the kids love and always wolf down. One of my boys won a free Mcflurry and the other younger boy couldn't understand why he hadn't won anything. This upset him. The front of house lady, Sarah, saw this and went out of her way to cheer him up with unwanted happy meal gifts and stickers she had collected fom past promotions. This kind gesture absolutely made his day and turned a grumpy four year old into the happiest boy there. Thank you Sarah!!

Far too small a site for people to visit; the roof overhang, when raining directs the run off water right into the car if going through the drive thru; the burgers we were served had seen better days and not fresh or appetising at all...... Over all...... Not the best out there 😔

This place can never seem to get a order right

Ordered my meal at the drive through and halloumi fries were missing walk back into restaurant told staff given a bag went back to car and the bag had chips in it. Wouldn't recommend.

For the 4th time this month no mcflurrys. Hot chocolate that tastes like brown water. Also forgot half the order. Sort it out, this used to be one of the best mcdonalds and is now useless.

The is the best local Mc Donald’s. It’s usually clean, food is high quality and service is pretty good. The restaurant has got my order wrong a hand full of times but helpful employees sorted it out. All the employees seem friendly as well. If your in the area I recommend coming to this Mc Donald’s than the other ones.

Drive through experience 19/02/24 .....Every time we use this Mcdonalds we are either waiting 5 mins for an order (usually because one item isn't sitting under the warming system e.g double cheeseburger ) resulting in the other items all being cold...or we just order a standard Bigmac meal and again chips are barely edible because they are cold. Last night after receiving my order ...again having to wait ages.... I actually decided to drive back around and complain (the first time I have ever done this) because I was so annoyed at yet again the chips being cold...the burger wasn't much better! The milkshake machine is almost never working (surely it cannot be a mechanical problem again...more like they cannot be bothered to have to clean it) Although the staff are always polite and friendly there is a clear lack of management ...its like a teenage disco in there at times...a lot of staff ...yes... but all doing what? Not cooking thats for sure!!! The whole outlet is basically being run by kids!!

Table service is good The food is good and you have good view of the food being prepared.

Ordered food when there was a handful of customers in the place. Waited over 45 minutes, in the end had to say to a manager who was very rude. Stormed off made our order which when we got home it was completely wrong and at best the food was warm. This has got to be the worse experience of a McDonald’s I have ever had. Never again

So we orders chicken nuggets and a burger to deliver at 6:30 and it’s now 9:15 and no food was ever delivered not trusting this again

Shocking, ordered a Mc Donalds delivery only to get a text message over a hour and 15 minutes later to say that my order had been cancelled. Ring Mc Donalds to complain only to be told all the UberEATS drivers had gone back home. Why let me order then and take over an hour to cancel. To make things worse my refund will take between 5 and 15 days and no mention of the 5000 points I used on order. Absolute muppets and very poor management to let that happen. Will never use the delivery service again.

I moved to bideford 2 yrs ago and the store was fine but slowly gone down hill, mistakes with drive through orders, forgotten items, incorrect items. The milkshakes and McFlurrys are always missing from the menu due to broken equipment. The service at drive through is hit and miss, they can but nice but also not helpful and sometimes abrupt. It’s very rare that there is not some kind of issue at this store whether it be with orders, lack of menu items and staff. McFlurry issue has been months and milk shakes also. I’m not sure what kind of service you feel you should give your customers but my own experience has been poor at best lately and no longer use this site. I spend my money else where now

Nice local McDonald's, few minor mistakes on the order which were easily corrected

What you expect from a fast food outlet, fast food. Can be busy at times. Staff are alway polite, friendly and helpfull, exactly how it should be. Check your takeaway though as mistakes can be made, but are always on the ball to correct.

Always seems to take a long time before your order is ready at this restaurant compared to other McDonald's we have visited around the country.

Really bad service here they forgot half of my order then when i queried it i was treated like a food thief they asked me to search my bag for the missing items and it took 3 of them to sort it out they were quite rude to be honest i wont be going back there thats for sure !!!!

The service was quick and fast and there was no wait for the drive thru. The food was warm and overall it was inexpensive.

OMG that was one of the worst McD’s we’ve been in. So messy! Food all over tables and the floor, bins overflowing and lots of staff behind the counter chatting. Manager came out of kitchen a couple of times and just wandered around aimlessly. Someone needs to sort this venue out.

Would like to give a huge shout out to sherilee ( hopefully I have your name right) she was absolutely fantastic and caring when I went to Bideford McDonald's with my mum who has vascular dementia, people are quick to complain but I have huge praise for this young lady ...thank you

don't use uber eats or the delivery don't go here. they dgaf if the muddle your order manager's answer was 'we're busy' considering it's a nightmare to get a refund they should probably considering getting things right in the first place 6 times we've had half our order missing not bothering anymore. if they're too busy to get orders right goodness knows what corners they're cutting

first off there was some brown bits on the box of my big mac and the lettuce was rotting . awful

I am so incredibly grateful for the staff members tonight (06/08/23). You guys saved me. I went in the store thinking it was open, and ordered a hot choc. Although they were closed they gave me the hot chocolate which i drunk outside. As i was on my own in just shorts and a vest top at midnight, 2 staff members double checked I was okay. Thank you to the man who did so alongside the lovely girl who also bought me a hot chocolate and a brownie for when I was finished. She told me I could call/knock and go and sit inside if I wanted as they were all in there if I needed them. I honestly can’t thank you guys enough, it means the world and you truly did save me.

Lovely staff. Excellent fast service. Restaurant was clean and well stocked. Had a large (very amended) order but it arrived quickly and was all correct.

Never leave reviews but Alex was brilliant (and a great upseller too, bought extra cheese 😂) made my partner laugh so much she feels like she’s going to faint (she’s driving, wish me luck)

Absolutely disgusting and undrinkable coffee!!! haven't been in for a while as the coffee has been rank over a long period of time. Tried it again today and it is even worse. All the North Devon Macdonald's seem to have rank coffee. All owned by the same franchisee and all rank so shouldn't be surprised our local hasn't improved

It's a quick serve Diner, okay if you like basic burgers. Staff friendly enough.

Terrible service and attitude. Huge ques outside as only one drive through working. Happily sat waiting then when I got to the window to pay tried making light of the half hour wait (no exaggeration) with the lady at the window saying “I guess it’s busy, the que goes down the road and people are turning round” only for her to reply “yea, drive to the next window please” and not even an apology for the wait. Next window no nothing about sorry for the delay and when I asked for ketchup to go with the kids meal he said “Yea mate, they are 10p each now if you want one” Great food terrible service and attitude.

Went tonight had to wait to order. Sat at the first window to pay for ages and no one come so drove to second window to be asked if I had payed like duh. Then told to drive around again and pay and that items i had order were not available like i was a 10 year old. No one seems to care if you order or not cant be bothered to serve customers or take money. So just said no thanks and left.

love this place, food is always hot and served to you pretty quick, they always have new things on the menu and there are plenty children and vegetarian friendly options:) only one star off as there are quite often lots of items missing from your order but can be easily sorted by letting staff know

I used the drive thru and found that the service was good with friendly staff. The food could’ve been packed better as one portion of fries was half emptied into the bag. The only thing that lets this McDonald’s down is the small number of parking spaces.
