Such a selection of items at this shop. Thought it was mainly pastys but they make amazing sandwiches/baguettes to order so you can pick your fillings and are really fresh. Plenty of cakes to choose from too. The real icing on the cake though are the lovely friendly staff who are always cheerfu

The ladies who work here are so nice! Meant to leave a review a couple weeks ago but it completely slipped my mind until I thought about how much I wanted the food again. Breakfast bap and baguette were delicious, service really nice, the coffee was also good and is what made us decide to go back and get food. Desserts delightful and the women working there seemed to really take pride in their work. Will be going back

Two women were serving when I came in with my family. One was young and under the supervision of a more senior woman. The senior woman had already closed the lunch bar by the time we entered at half 2, and proffered to reopen for us, but subsequently prepared us a sandwich while make very obvious digs at how inconvenienced she was by the spreading of butter and the removal of pre-sliced bread from it's packaging. She recieved a Deliveroo order while preparing this very inconveniencing sandwich, and made remarks that disparaged the person who ordered the meal, and had a go at the delivery man who had come to collect the order when the order had only just been received. Fair enough, that's a pain, but doesn't warrant swearing in front of customers, eye rolls, and tuts. We all felt so uncomfortable by her unprofessionalism, and it's a waste of our hard earned money when you interact with customer facing employees and end up building a better rapport with the sandwiches. Also felt bad for her subordinate, who looked uncomfortable and is clearly not being exposed to a professional working environment at her age. Food itself? Ok.

On the way to the Dolphin needed a snack and discovered that the short lived Subway had been deftly changed to yet another branch of the Oggy Oggy chain, but although there seemed to be a pasty hot counter towards the back the front window and the counter inside the door was stacked with a lot of creamy cake stuff so I switched my focus to a pinked top vanilla slice. About £2.50 or so. Not cheap.
