Sabeez in Plymouth

Jus got a burger with lemon and herd dressing fries and a drink.....the burger was massive...the fries freshly cooked...10/10...

Total price for food was £26, this included 2 measly pieces of chicken no salad no chips an no dip 4 pieces of halloumi 3 churros for £6 A milkshake Honestly so disappointed, the chicken was nice but ridiculousy priced. When I called to query I was asked what the problem was!! Won’t order again save your money and go nandos (which I never thought I would ever say)

Place for grilled chicken very close to a Portuguese version is on sabeez food is always delicious and the waiting times are not bad at all we as a family have food from here almost every week and sometimes twice a week and never been disappointed ps: the portion of chips on platters could be more generous thanks

I always thought Nandos was best place for grilled chicken, but after eating at this restaurant, it is atleast 2 times better than Nandos, especially the lemon herb chicken. Also the peri peri rice was unbelievable. The price and value is very good and cheap and worth it, especially the full plater. I will always all come here and I recommend everyone to go to here.

This is my go to place for wings , i order on uber eats and it always comes piping hot despite me living a few miles away. . The chicken falls off the bone and it’s so succulent and the toppings are delicious . I’d probably eat here 4 times a week if i could. Fudge cake is also very nice and good choice of dips. The Crunchie Milkshake is better than most places it actually tastes of cruncie. Couldn’t give this place more praise ! love being a regular customer.

TOP TOP TOP SPOT Best wings in plymouth hands down Their spicy rice is unbelievable much better than most of the known chains rice I.e nandos and Las iguanas. Piri wedges are outstanding and probably the best potato dish in plymouth! (Besides spicy spuds obvs) Only negative reviews are on service and not food so don't be put off 5 star scran

Loved the food. Meat was freshly cooked. I had the 1/2 chicken flavoured to hot, and it was great. I really enjoyed the coleslaw. Definitely recommend.

AVOID at all costs, if you want delivery!!! As they will expect you to go and pick it up, if they haven't any drivers. I don't drive, and had to go in there, and get them to do my order, all over again. In the end, was over an Hour & half to get my Food. Customer service has gone downhill. Never used to be like that. There phone manner is awful. I will definately consider going elsewhere, as been a loyal customer for over 2 years now.

I tried the chicken wrap, it's not worth 7 pounds. Also they took 15 minutes for a single wrap. Taste wise it's just ok. But the cooking time and the value for money 👎. I only tried the chicken & beef wrap. I don't know about the rest.

Best Peri Peri chicken in Plymouth and always friendly service!

Just placed order through the Sabeez App and they forgot the sauces we paid for and when we called they said we can come collect the sauces but offered NOTHING to compensate us for their mistake. Shocking. We have to drive another 20 min there & 20 min back and no apology nothing. Shocking.

Best takeaway in Plymouth hands down.

Tried the Sabeez Platter and it was great for 2-4 people (depending how hungry you are!). Love their hot flavoured chicken (not dry at all) and their spicy rice and peri peri fries as sides 🤤 Best tip would be to eat-in so it’s just off the grill and so delicious!

The place was amazing and there was this Arab guy who made sure we were okay the whole time and treated us amazingly from the start to finish. Having him there definitely helps the restaurant

Very disappointed. As a long term farily regular customer this was below par. Chips cold and smaller portion than usual. Size of wings tiny... 3 of these wings is like 1 normal wing, basically no salad in wrap, chicken in wrap dry as hell and no seasoning at all which is usually really full of flavour and tasty. I would give it one more last try as its always been good in the past but the price for this quality/quantity is a no go for me if this is how it is moving forward....

Chicken is tender , ambience is superb plus Rosie one of the staffs there is one of a kind. Two thumbs up

Feel cheated that they don't tell you the vat isn't included until you pay. Food was ok but didnt include avocado as advertised. Not worth the £8.39 (tax included) for a regular chicken wrap. Please change the menus so that people are not being lied to

My favorite takeaway at the moment! Absolutely delicious! We order a whole honey BBQ chicken with a selection of sides and its fantastic. We normally go for some pita breads, halloumi, corn on the cob, and a few dips. My only complaint if any would be that its a bit expensive, I understand costs are going up for some things but they charge 99p for a small pot of dip which is very high. The other sides are also quite expensive especially the sweet potato and the corn on the cob. The chicken though... WOW! Tender, flavorsome, and delicious. It goes great in a pita with some haloumi, but just as delicious to eat on its own. Never been into the restaurant, only ever had delivery but from my experience so far I would highly recommend!

Decent, food was good, prices advertised on paper menus, screens and laminated menus apparently didn't include VAT. I suspect they just wanted to increase prices and didn't want to pay for new menus. Either way you feel cheated at the till. Otherwise, I was happy with the meal itself.

Worst customer service ever. Rude. They don't realise customers worth. I'm in food industry myself in fast food business. Very bad. Food ain't all that either.

I don't know why they sell burrito when it's nothing like a burrito. The mince is actually a beef burger chopped to strips, no guacamole, no salsa no sauce and no beans. Its literally a wrap with burger some salad and biriani rice but named it as a burrito what a joke. Very disappointed

Very expensive, not the quality I expect for the price. Be warned... ALL PRICES EXCLUDE VAT. The wraps they use appear to be cheap supermarket wraps. I paid £19 for two burritos 🌯 and a can of coke, that was takeaway/collection. The food is OK, but not worth the price. I checked deliveroo and nandos, Nandos via deliveroo is CHEAPER!!!! So check their website and compare prices yourself. Anyone who reviews this as "great prices" is probably a fake review.

UPDATE: Despite their good quality chicken, as of 1 month ago they have decided to increase all prices by stating all menus items EXCLUDE VAT. Very disingenous way of conducting business with customers not realising the subtle change in price as menus state "prices subject to VAT". Disappointing behaviour given so much promise. Original review: Very tasty chicken, usually moist and fresh. Peri fries are best. Variable side portion sizes, not consistent. Opening times hit and miss.

First time eating there, would definitely go again. Plus lots more spice/flavour choices than nandos.

Drove in to town to order food 20 minutes before closure. The sign still says open. Walked in and lady at the reception said it's closed despite being 22:40.

Ordered take out for me and my wife ordered the wings platter wings for so tender well done to them on the wings ! Personally I am not a fan of the piri piri mayonnaise but it’s ok. My wife ordered the Sabeez Double Decker burger half beef half chicken the beef was a little burnt but overall filling meal she said. 15-20 minute wait for take away Overall Worth it !!

I just Oder the food today from this company. The food came very burnt. I called them to see if I can have another Oder or they can refund me money, but, First: the lady who was talking to on the food she was very rude and didn’t event want to listening to me complaints. And then she talk me that, they can not refund my oder because they don’t have drivers. I told them the can send driver at any time because that was the only money I have to oder food and way for today but the lady was still rude. Please manager if you can do something for this situation it will be nice.

Just ordered from this first time ever what a joke this is... Got the chicken flavours wrong Not garlic and herb it was flaming hot. Garlic bread was burnt. Straight in the bin this went will never ever order from these again
