It’s shocking the prices are terrible and the portions and shocking a small chips has about 20 something in them won’t be going back

Decided to go to milnthorpe chippy after not being in for years as fancied a change and the food was delicious. The price wasn’t too much with good portion sizes, the staff were very helpful and polite and also chatted to me and my younger sister which made the wait better. The customer service was excellent and the young girl who served me was very polite and friendly. I would definitely go again as my experience was excellent.

Excellent food outstanding customer service . Kings off peri peri chicken , juicy tender succulent burgers mouth watering . perfectly cooked tender pizza’s.

On arrival asked if the food was fresh fresh the lady informed us yes it was she then informed us it would take a couple of minutes for chips I thought it was quick . When the chips came we left the majority and asked how fresh chips could taste so bad . Where we was informed they cook them before put them in a uncovered bucket under the counter and then put them back In when complained apparently every chippy does it which is not true and not true . I saw the big basket off chips when walked in and thought they was the ones she had thru out how wrong was we .

Fantastic food always cooked fresh as you order, clay chicken tikka is smoky and full of flavour and on fresh garlic nans.

Excellent quality fish and chips for £9.40. This might seem expensive but it is the going-rate these days and cheaper than some. The quantity was large and presented in a nice-looking box instead of just wrapped in paper. I was surprised that the only methods of payment were either cash or bank transfer (no cards) and that explained exactly what the clients in front of me were doing with their phones! I was reluctant to follow suit so just handed the assistant a tenner for speed despite being stuck with a rather useless 60p returned to my pocket. Clearly the owner has had trouble with cards and as he runs a business security of payment is a first priority so I am not going to deduct a point for a perfectly understandable ruling on payment. The premises also looked spotlessly clean. Thoroughly deserving of a five star recommendation.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from manager Declan, bought 2 burgers cheeseburger had no cheese,no salsa no gherkins travelled 5 miles to go back and tell them and I said that I would like something else instead as was put off by the plain burger and he bluntly with an attitude said no, now firsty at 4.20am in the morning as a customer who's hungry doesn't need a manager to be so rude and not understanding how hard is it making a burger and putting cheese and sala on it, you make the mistake and punish the customer who is a regular at this branch. Advise people to check your food before leaving otherwise this branch is of no help and manger bluntly rude. Never again me or my family

Have to say I have had Wonton Char suii noodle soup from many chippies and restaurants across Merseyside and further afield but this was shockingly bad.This should be a clear broth with wanton thin noodles,cha sui,pad chop wand spring onion as aminimum.Instead it was a red thick floppy soup with thick noodles and char ski was virtually non existent,it was accompanied by a thick vile chilli sauce....it went in the bin.Special curry was very poor as well.The people who give this place good reviews must have very low standards ...never again!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent food and coffee and some nice sandwiches and deserts. Staff always pleasant and helpful especially with Greggs App. Everytime we visit Ambleside we use Greggs and its down to the good counter staff. Keep up the good work.

Millie’s cookies are of a dreadful size. I payed £1.59 for a Jaffa Cookie here at the Trafford centre and received a cookie half the size of my palm. Ridiculous size for the cookie considering the price. A very bad experience I will not be coming again.

I was a bit worried having read the previous reviews but it was great. The portions are huge: a large fish and chips is fine for 2 people. Friendly service, fish and chips freshly cooked, all very good. I can’t understand the previous poor reviews

Decided to treat myself to a bavarian slice from Pund Bakery as hadn't had one for a long time. Oh my goodness, I won't ever be having one again from there ! What has happened to them ! Nothing like they use to be. A lot smaller, soggy flaky pastry, tangy jam and solid custard that tasted like it had been made with water ! Where is the lovely creamy creme pat gone and the crispy flaky pastry ? It was not good and after two bites it went in the bin. Disappointed. There Bavarian slices use to be so lovely and tasty.

Got a mixed kebab and a chicken donner and kofte kebab...absolutely brill...they are massive...took two sittings to eat it...the meat is well cooked and tender ...proper Turkish style food. Not been for about 15 years.it was good then but excellent now .deffo our new go to takeaway

menu options change every time we revisit bit limited choice on the basic meal deals but service was very good reasonable clean
