While exploring the pubs along and around Victoria Road West in Thornton Cleveleys we decided to drop into this Pound Bakery and what a great visit. Your typical Pound Bakery, spotlessly clean, lots of goodies on view ,an inviting glass fronted serving bar showcases the pastries on offer ,my twin brother Stephen and I track and traced and then we chose a couple of steak bakes each ,served steaming hot ,we tucked into our steak bakes outside which were absolutely delicious, so tasty and just what we needed to soak up the beer in the pubs we planned to visit. This Pound Bakery is very easy to locate along Victoria Road West. Opening hours are;Monday to Saturday, Open from 8.30am.Sunday, Open from 10.30am.A wonderful Pound Bakery outlet, most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area .

PoundBakery is one in a chain of bakeries dotted throughout the UK that specialise in really cheap savoury products and cakes and hot coffees and teas and was established in Bolton in 2010.This is my first visit to PoundBakery and we where surprised at the choice of savouries on offer from sausage rolls to pasties and pies and many other savoury items and drinks.On entry we gave our track and trace details and took our turn in the queue'we ordered a couple of steak bakes at one pound each.The steak bakes were superb and as mentioned above extremely well priced.This is the first PoundBakery we have been but it won't be the last as the savouries were excellent and the staff very friendly and is very easy to find from Nutter road bus stop it's a minute walk.(This is my first review of PoundBakery).Opening Hours. I know it only cost £1 but the meat and potato pie was very greasy and not appealing to eat.. Wish I had tried the sandwiches

The quality of this product is now very poor , the filling has a plastic taste, After being these for a long time the quality was excellent,Not nice to eat now , so won't buy again some look like they are days old ,the fact the iced top had curled up and was dried out should have been a warning , Wish I had taken a photo of them in the shop.I get them for my partner and daughter.

Can't beat their Bavarian cakes! They should get the £1 cafe going like the one in Blackpool, it would be a bit in Cleveleys

The staff are lovely and you don’t always get them in other cities but this town had members of staff who was honest and really friendly!

Not as good as used to be.prices gone up and quality gone down.meat and potato pies should be called potato pie only. Bring back Greggs or burtons

get a couple of cheese and onion pastries every time I'm in cleveleys and they are always hot. good staff, quick service even when they are really busy

For one pound you can get two pies or large Tasty pasties for a pound, all very Tasty,and a good range of sandwiches,and cakes

I do not know how they can be so cheap yet tatse so good, i cant go past here without going in for a sausage roll

great prices for good quality sandwiches, cakes and pies. why pay more when its so cheap and good. give it a try and great offers on buying 2.

Always worth a look , great pasties for the money. Something to munch on when you are on the go on the high st. A cheap do for the kids if you have a large family

New girl on the Counter today (18/07/2018) at Pound Bakery in Cleveleys.Getting all the orders wrong and mixed up., which is not good if people are suffering from allergies, etc. Seemed to be too much carry on in her head, not listening to customers orders, and staring into space half the time!Witnessed her give out two orders that were wrong and not what people asked for.Used to be a great place this, wonder why the Customer Service has gone so poor??The food is actually OK from this shop, but they are terribly lacking in Customer Service Skills and the ability to do the job!

the bavarian slices from here are quite simply the best, we get some every time we return to the fylde coast.

Its a pound bakery what more can i say.........its always busy, if you want a quick snack/lunch..well you cant grumble for a quid

Just to say that the sandwiches and salad bowls are fantastic value at £1 dont know how they can make them let alone sell them at this price. Fantastic value

Love these outlets for the simply delicious savouries. So bad for you but so good with a great price, come on what can you get for a pound these days.

It's great. Not perhaps the best of the best but incredible value. Cakes are superb and pies are all good.

Savoury or sweet your choice, Quick service, Very good value, both the savoury and sweet options are of good quality.

Good selection of hot and cold delights for lunch plus it's reasonable considering down the road wants £4.55 a sandwich. Will return as visiting on holiday.

Chicken pasty, jumbo steak pasty and steak pies all delicious. There's much more filling, particularly in the chicken pasty, than more expensive bakeries on the same road.

I think the Pound Bakery sell a really good product and you cannot beat them on value. My Grand kids love the sausage rolls, my wife goes for chicken slices and I am a Cornish pasty person. I have never had a bad one and I call in about once a week.

the food is basic, but what can you expect for the price? the fresh sandwiches are the best value for money and its nice to see some vegetarian options. the staff seem friendly and smiley.

Although I would not class the products sold as outstanding, they are, nevertheless, good quality and value for the price paid.
