Mr Chips in Sefton

My first experience ordering from Mr. Chips Chippy exceeded expectations. The food arrived piping hot, showcasing the freshness and care put into the preparation. The salt and pepper chicken was delightfully soft, and the chips were not only lovely but maintained the perfect temperature. Trying it for a change, I stumbled upon my new favorite sweet and sour sauce, adding a flavorful twist to the meal. This won't be my last order; I'm definitely coming back for more. A tasty and satisfying choice for those seeking a change in their takeaway routine!

Been coming here for 13 years, never again. I got served greasy, brown warmed up chips only to be told they were 'part cooked, never warmed up chips'. Someone should tell them that blanched chips take longer than 60 seconds in the oil to cook

Zero food handling hygiene Will never come here again just watched a girl who clearly has a cold wiping her nose on her hand then handling a burger and a bun, no gloves no tongs totally wrong.

First time vist for many years - More Chips than anyone could eat but not edible, greasy & warmed up tasted awful - binned. Fish greasy & stuck to paper Wife's cheese omelette was really greasy with same inedible chips binned. Won't be visiting again 😕

Absolutely brilliant, portions are great, I love a pizza me so get on the americano (boss) always a good one. Better than pizza plus, majorly

ordered kebab and chips, usually very fussy with my kebabs but was told good things about this place so decided to give it a try and wasn’t disappointed

Doner and Chips is my favourite here. Really recommend anyone to try it. Staff are also always friendly.

Great food, lovely friendly staff on the phone when taking down the order for delivery. Even the delivery drivers are lovely. Salt and pepper chicken is a favourite in our house as is sweet and sour king prawn. Portions are massive, I always get my Friday night tea and then Saturday morning breaking of of them. Top chippy

The worst meals we've ever had. Abysmal food, unpalatable, insipid and absolutely tasteless. Awful, truly awful. I cannot fully describe just how bland these meals were. Gloopy "un"savoury cake that you had to have a drink with just so you could swallow it and the batter was soft. Overcooked orange looking Salt and pepper chicken wings without any salt and pepper flavouring. The chicken was hard and dry and the meat was dark. Singapore chow mein is meant to be spicy but it was just a tasteless, pale looking chow mein. Just muck, the lot of it.

Friendly down to earth, helpful staff. Food AlwAys tasty. Deliveries always quick and food warm. Only thing is it only takes cash 😕 Still highly rate it though

Absolutely disgusting the noodles were overcooked and sloppy - the chicken from the sweet n sour chicken was so thin it was mostly batter and the chicken was so chewy you couldn't eat it the fried rice that I paid extra for had so much soy sauce on it that there was no taste of fried rice at all £16.70 down the drain and we will never go there again 🤢🤢🤢

Horrible people nasty as hell got all my meals wrong then swore at me over the phone no one go to this chippy the women in there have ciggie breaks all the time and don’t wash there hands needs to be shut down STAY AWAY EVERYONE dicusting

You can’t go wrong with this chippy, best food I’ve ever had. Place is spotless, staff are friendly & the food is excellent, I wouldn’t order from anywhere else.

Love this place every single thing in there is spot on best salt and pepper chicken wings anywhere. There is always enough staff that you don't have to wait ages best chippy for miles.

I love this chippy. I’ve lived around the area for over twenty years and I’ve never had anything but lovely food from here. Delivery and collection used for all the family and a very reasonable price.

Best chips around I do like potatoes a lot a mean a lot but Mr Chips. Do the best chips around even better than the English chippys that have been going since the 50’s,

Ordered Chinese meal, which was ok, and two chicken kebabs. The kebabs were basically grey chicken with mushrooms and a few slimy onions. One tray of salad between two and the pitta was wrapped separately. Straight in the bin, tasted awful. Plus we waited over two hours for delivery.

Mr Chips is the best chippy in the area. By far. Staff are friendly and the food is excellent. The fish is amazing, and the Chinese menu is varied and always tastes great.

Had a menu posted through the door from Mr Chips a couple of weeks ago and decided to give it a try. The food was absolutely gorgeous. Will be popping in there later for more. Really looking forward to it

Tried this chippy for the first time tonight it definitely wont be the last!!! My wife said it was the best takaway she'd had for years and my son who is very fussy said the same!! No charge for delivery and arrived when they said BRILL!!

Our local chippy. Tried lots of things on the menu and never been disappointed. The chicken kebab or Sweet and Sour chicken are my favourites. Big portions so normally last me two meals. Lovely staff as well.

Menu is extensive, quick friendly service, portion size huge. Found staff very helpful to a pensioner who was in the shop patient and kind. Well done Mr Chips 😀😀😀😀😳

Staff in here are really friendly but unfortunately the food is awful, even plain old chips are just not nice. Pity really because it used to be one of the nicest Chippies around.

Great local chippy nice extensive menu, love the battered onion rings and service and the staff all spot on.

Best chippy in the world Seriously Best chips ever, best curry sauce ever, best scallops ever, best fried rice ever. Get all these at the same time, its god damn delicious and cheap. Best place in the world <3 :D

Mi hijo vive cerca, así que, cuando estaba de visita, nos decidimos por un té de "fish and chips"! Eran un poco demasiado grasiento para mí, pero he pasado casi dos años en América del Norte y estoy ya no se utiliza para patatas fritas británicas. Que sabía muy bien y todos los demás disfrutamos de ellos. Las porciones son grandes y aquellos que habían pescado dijo que era excelente.

We ordered kebas and we received them and they were stone cold and we rang up and they blamed it on the sauce and salad. So we asked for our money back and the lady on the phone was really rude about it. NEVER GO THERE AGAIN IT'S TERRIBLE AND WE WONT BE RECOMENDING MR CHIPS TO ANYONE.

Great takeaway and great friendly staff and delivery staff. Lovely food!! Best chip shop around by miles. Try the fish, it will not disappoint!!

This is the worst chip shop I have ever ate from the food is vile and I have nothing positive at all to say about this place.

We order a banquet for 2 people sometimes order an extra meal this feeds my family of 4 adults no problem always lovely food delivered to ur door with in 45 mins
