Joarr Hot Food Emporium in Sefton

I ordered a bacon and egg on toast the other day and got charged £5.00 I waited for the food to come then asked for my change the lady behind the counter said this is the price no menu’s available to tell you this. Appsolultly a rip off I won’t be going there again.

food came at 12:31pm, ordered it at 10:30pm. when it came the pizza base was literally raw and the toppings slid right off. the cheese on the chips smelt funny and has made me feel ill, and all the food was cold. the meatballs on the pizza were the ones you get from corner shops and the pepperoni had the texture of my dogs tongue. honestly let down, needed a last minute meal for my family and it came way way too late for my young children. ashamed and disappointed

Really poor quality food, scrag ends of meat used.

Got a sausage and egg from here and it was bad not sure what the evening food is like but avoid the breakfast stuff.

I ordered a range of deserts from this place last night including chocolate cake , cheese cake , 2 giant cookies and a meringue pie all were not expected , the chocolate cake was moldy and soggy and smelt funny I had one bite of it and it’s was absolutely disgusting I would not recommend also the cheese cake was not cheese cake it was watery smelt off with the cheese being more sickly and the smell was pungent I’ve received food poising from this ‘cheese cake’ the biscuit base was also very soggy and crumbly . The so called giant cookies were rock hard not safe to eat and they to also smelt horrible the final desert was the meringue pie that was tiny and was not edible it looked and smelt disgusting , I do not understand why this company haven’t been inspected by the food health organisation it will be as I will be getting in contact with them , it’s extortion how this company can expect you to pay a minimum of £15 for this rubbish amount of disgusting food I demand to have a refund as I’ve been food poisoned but this monstrosity unbelievable you should be ashamed

Couldn’t believe the poor quality ,food was poor . Been a few times it’s terrible, one bite of a kabab and that was it… The dog enjoyed it but he would. Never go to the place again very disappointed.

Ordered 2 regular kebabs, 1 donner 1 chicken. Somehow £9 from menu sheet came to £15.50. It was absolutely disgusting, never again, certainly not the meat I asked for. Would not give it the dog. Revolting 🤮

Very sorry to say but I bought a couple of kebabs today and it's just not to my liking, little chunks of meat fried up with salad on naan just isn't what I was expecting. Customer service was great, a bit overpriced. Sorry guys won't be coming back.

Went in for a beer and pie which is up in the window for £5.00, to be told it was a 3 year old sign and no longer a deal they offer but still in the window! I questioned what I could have to just sit outside and have a drink with food to be told he wasn’t sure because there wasn’t a button on the till for food and beer with no other suggestions, I left confused with no food or beer. Won’t be going back

Delicious 😋. First try of joarr emporium and we'll impressed. Large portions, fresh and chicken had a lovely seasoning. Will definitely order again and try more from menu

Paid 4.50 for a “cheese and onion baguette” got a warm baguette with 4 slices of burger cheese and a fist full of onions thrown on the top.. quality of the food was poor considering the price charged..

Food is about average for a kebab shop if you like that sort of thing. Absolutely spotless in regards to cleanliness. Avoid the fried chicken, dry almost inedible . Side note the owners don't even eat their own food.

Food was disgusting, was freezing cold when it turned up kebab meat was rock hard pizza was sloppy chicken on kebab also was undercooked and slimey, THIS PLACE IS VILE DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

We called in for a brew and was surprised to find this food emporium was not on the google map, we had some chips and gravy just to see if they would serve something that was not listed, but they do everything you would need and they also deliver, the staff we spoke to were very pleasant and helpfull, they even have a secluded area outside where you can eat in this great weather another pluss is they are lisenced to sell alcohol and even deliver drink but you must provide ID on delivery, they deliver from 11AM to 11PM every day, the kitchen is behind the counter and you can see everything being made all i could say is it is spotless, ,,,Paddy,,,

Just ordered from here the food was amazing not sure what all the bad reviews our from as all my family and friends order from here regular its a shame more people like yo complain then put on a giid review.Like all restaurants the odd mistake does happen give it another try be glad you did .

I ordered 3 lamb kebabs on naan bread. I was told the meat would be beef not lamb. I agreed. The hot sauce I requested was bland and watery and soaked the packet flatbread (not naan bread as requested) that the kebab was served in. The beef was OK but little or no marinade or seasoning so very bland. There was no naan bread as per the order and I was not told I would not be getting naan bread. First and last time that I will be buying from this place. Very disappointed. Cannot recommend this place.

All pizza’s arrived burned and tough, the crust was like a brick. When I called up to complain he blamed it on the cheese and said he would call me back when he had spoken to the manager, still waiting on a call. Disgusting that they think they can send food out like that considering how much you pay for pizza. Wouldn’t recommend ordering from here.

When I tell people i get takeaway from this place, I get many mixed reviews and some not very good at all. But I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience. The food arrives on time (if not 10-15 mins before estimate) and is always piping hot and well seasoned, full of flavour! They even can deliver a load of other stuff, including sweets, crisps and alcohol - which is a bonus if you and the other half are having a quite evening in and don't want to venture out! Keep up the good work, and we will certainly it keep coming back and spreading the good word!

30 mins mate, woman on the phone was vile and the foods horrible, terrible service on the phone to mingin

have tried here a couple of times to give them the benefit of doubt, constantly get the order wrong missing things off! small portions and not the best!! wont be going again, not sure how they are still open??

The pizzza, the delivery, the french fries, the staff etc. is always wonderful. We love this place and do recommend it to all our friends. Yum!

What I find very concerning is that I ordered food from King Kababs on deliveroo and this is the address. There is so much wrong with this. I wouldn't have even followed this up but the food was a joke. Everything tasted just a little off and as you can see in the picture substandard. £4.50 for this? (Did include fries but not good enough.

Great kebabs - good value for money.

Absolutely vile. First time we ordered from here. Ordered a breakfast and asked for them both to be well done. Lady was rude on the phone like I was putting her out. When it arrived, it was no where near well-done. It was the most disgusting breakfast I have ever had. Sausages were under cooked, bacon practically raw and toast was soggy from the amount of cheap butter it was drowning in. Whole thing was swimming in grease. Me, my husband and our dog came down with food poisoning. Please do not order from this place as your meal will be quickly followed by a second course of the Campylobacter smothered in salmonella. The place should be shut down. On reading the review below, if the chef is sticking his fingers in peoples food to check the temperature then clearly that disgusting unhygienic creature is knowingly contaminating half the population of Southport with his infectious diseases. Do not eat here!

Not gonna lie the calzone I was served was flavourless, no seasoning just cheese chicken and tomato sauce, being honest, the worst calzone ive ever had. To top things off the cheesy chips are some regular fries with shop bought mingin grated cheese out of a pack and I wanted to throw up I'm not joking

I am absolutely disgusted with the crap that has just came through my door. a vile excuse of a breakfast im reporting you. what I asked for: a large breakfast with a pot of tomato ketchup spaghetti bolognese with loads of cheese what I recieved: sausage egg and beans in one box (obviously was a mess) pasta and mince meat

Had a kebab and the chicken was chewy. Left slot of it but unfortunately the next day was throwing up and felt terrible! Will not use again!!

My daughter ordered a variety of meals off the menu to be delivered, including hunter''s chicken, cheese and ham panini with salad, curry and chips and a mexican style pizza. The United's chicken was fine with the bacon, but chips with that meal as well as the curry and chips, were actually French fries, not norma! cut chips, and were hard and stodgy. The curry sauce had congealed into a paste. The panini with salad did not come with any salad and when my daughter rang they said it would be sent out; after half an hour she rang back to ask again about the salad and was passed to a second person talking in gibberish, insisting the salad was in the panini, which it was not and was frankly was rude and arrogant. Don't use this place unless you want second rate food and service all complimented with a dash of screw you attitude.

Ordered a very simple order yet they managed to get it wrong and left some things off my order then took a hour to bring the rest of the food

Just had the takeaway breakfast and steak chips and peas meal. The breakfast is the worst I’ve ever had rock hard bacon rubbery hard eggs (I turned one upside down and it was a disgusting crispy mess) I’ll post photos. Steak meal.....steak was sent to the insinorator and chips were rubbery and over cooked they even tasted as if they’d been reheated in a microwave. Never ever again yuk! As you can see from the photos the whole lot went straight in the bin.

We often go in for their £10 pizza deal as it is excellent value and their pizzas are great. Our problem is since they opened a bar to serve alcohol. The last three occasions we've been in, usually around 7pm there have been a group of drunk men. It started with a couple but has grown since, they often stand around the doorway, making comments that lead me to believe they are either drunk or normally very rude. I know the staff try to get them to go outside but then that's not good for the area either. It's got so bad we've decided to phone order in future and get them to deliver even though we don't live far because we hate going in there now. Such a shame because this was our favourite place to go for takeaway.

This place is terrible dont go the staff are rood stare at you eating, No customer service skills at all, Shout at the children an they talk in there language ( Turkish) which i found very rood an laughing making you feel uncomfortable!!!!!! As for the food its disgusting dont have the food on menus to offer allways sold out or need to restock . On being in there today with my grandchildren we ordered pizzas! Kebabs an was a treat the whole order was wrong! Not to say wudnt even give it to my dog, The salad was all old an brown! To say the chips was ok is the only thing this place got going for it. Yobs hang around and sell alcohol (probably to under age kids too) The chef dipped his finger in the beans to check if they are hot an then went on to serve them (vile) donnor meat cold ....Work is taking place banging an dust an was open an serving people, charge 50p for the toilet. DO NOT GO HERE strongly advise this is the 2nd time we have had bad experiences. The GUY who is about 30 needs some manners an customer training. Sack him Carnt even get a simple order right.

I have been here several times now. The food has always been spot on. The kebabs are made with best quality meat. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

The fact they change the cook almost all the time really does not help them. Fact is think it must be a management issue. As first few times I came was really nice guy who cooks very well for a cafe. Then I've been in and there's new chefs. Well they never understand what u say or even give u want u asked for. This is just out of order when it's a takeaway as u never check till u get home! Engages me I say bring back old chef and let him just run the place...... I really don't need a 10 min convo about 1 bloody butty!!!!

Whilst this "Kebab Burger and Pizza" place has a wide variety on the menu (much of which I have tried and enjoyed) my favourite is the "Sunday Roast" and almost every Sunday I call in on my way back from town to pick up my Sunday Dinner.

A lazy Saturday evening treat for thw family. We ordered the mixed kebab for the wife and I, huge portions and very well cooked meats. The kids had pizzas and garlic bread. All very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Altogether a great experience!

This fast food, sit down facility only opened recently and I have driven by several times. Looks good, has a 5 Star Hygiene rating and just looks inviting. First visit last night for the weekly treat of a kebab - excellent!! Well cooked, good chilli sauce, good variety of salad with the excellent chicken kebab - chips well cooked!!
