I was a bit worried having read the previous reviews but it was great. The portions are huge: a large fish and chips is fine for 2 people. Friendly service, fish and chips freshly cooked, all very good. I can’t understand the previous poor reviews

Pudding chips last night £5 amount of chips very little no peas or gravy small tray of chips is better buy will not use again

Not the best fish & chips I've ever had, but probably the most expensive - £8 for haddock & chips! When I compare it with my regular chippy, well there's just no competition! The batter was soggy & the chips full of black bits. Fish itself was tasty, but at that price I would expect it to be. My regular chippy, on St Anne's Rd, Blackpool, beats it hands down. Price £3.95 for haddock & chips, crispy batter - delicious chips, much, much better. Considering all the hype & good reviews on Senior's I was very disappointed. Won't bother again.

Popped in at lunch when driving past had fish and chips fab quality white flaky cod and fab mushy food

most of the staff need an attitude change and the food might as well be out of bin. wasnt worth waiting for and not worth the price

Went in to get chips they was obviously left overs from the day before totally inedible and cold will not be going in there again

we had a nice fish ligtly battered and small chips with a curry sauce. really enjoyed it keep it flowing top marks kurt

Nothing special. Staff aren’t very friendly. Prices can vary and can sometimes be expensive for what you get. We live across the road from it and when we got it home it was cold and needed warming up.

Needing something to warm me up on my way to the match I called in for some chips. Pleased to be able to pay my £1.70 by contactless transaction I quickly grabbed my polystyrene tray of chips and rushed out to get to the match on time. To be honest they weren’t particularly hot and they were very well cooked to the point of overcooked. Afterwards I wondered if they were the cream of the crop, or just what was left at the bottom of the serving tray before the next batch went in. I’ll certainly do more quality control if I call in here again.

visited here twice now in the last months due to notts county playing away at Fylde.Shall return when the match is re-arranged.i reckon these are some of the best chips i have ever had on my travels following Notts.very friendly staff.long may you reign.

Fab little place.friendly staff,food fried to order. Chips are golden like they're homemade. Half portions for the smaller appetite what's not to like

Went to this establishment on Friday (fish Friday in my family) and had the best fish I’ve had in a long time.

Super quick, yet still fresh, service which helped when I had 2 starving children at home waiting. Me and my husband prefer lightly battered fish and this was amazing upon request. Visited due to a leaflet being out through our door and it was worth the visit. Told on ordering that they do delivery - even better.

Was knowingly served with what I could only describe as bad brown re-cooked potato ends. (Before being served the small portion of bad chips observed an acknowledgement between staff member and proprietor)On discovery of the bad portion of chips I re-turned.As I entered the "chippy" with chips in hand and before I had time to even speak the proprietor obviously recognised me as the recent customer and screamed out loudly in my face.Fearing a confrontation I explained about the bad quality of portion of chips and then left.

Called in here when we first moved to the area and so glad we did, the food is spot on. Fish light and crisp is fried to order and chips prepared on site are delicious.usual traditional menu available.They have struggled with staff but seem to have got this sorted.

We always use this chip shop when we are in the area.The food is excellent and the staff friendly and efficient. The prices are very good and portion sizes generous. We would recommend this chippy. It is take away food you cannot eat on the premises.

have been a couple of times now when it was supposed to be open according to their opening times and it was closed. Even been when they 'closed' 8 minutes before time and owner pulled faces through the window at us. Either charging too much or have won the lottery. Recently been served by far too many kids that dont know what a portion is, are rude, cant fry fish to save their lives, dont care while owner is away in camper van.

Batter to thick,fish over done and greasy.the chips had seen better days and the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing,messing a customers order up and then mine till I corrected them. Really disappointed. If you want a decent chippy don't go there

Visited one night after work, service was good and staff were friendly. When I got home and opened the food it all looked extremely over cooked. The fish was very dark and the chips too, were very dark. I have them a go and they were tasty, the fish was excellent. It’s a shame it all looked so over cooked as it was really nice.

Fancied spicy chips and curry for lunch today and spotted this chippy when passing.

Maybe an off day, oil dark and sticky, chips dark on outside not cooked properly inside think oil was too hot. Left us feeling a bit sick. Happily accepted my forged banknote though so will return

Top quality fish and chips with the fish freshly cooked to order. Good mushy peas as well. Usual choice of Holland's pies and puddings

Used this place all my life and there is no better chippy. Second to none. It has basically been the same for the 33 years I've known it. Nothing had changed. Lovely people, amazing food.

A little gem of a chippy good old fashioned British fish n chips. Nice and clean and friendly staff. Excellent value for money
