Atmosphere not very welcoming.food very sloppy and badly made up subs

Service a bit slow but I think the person was new.

Garlic bread was cold didn’t give me my crisps wrong bread and wrong cookies

Barely any steak on sandwich. Wrong packet of crisps and wrong drink.

REALLY slow service. The young trainee was serving on her own and the shift leader was doing something on a clipboard in the BOH area AT LUNCHTIME! Rude shift leader who rolled her eyes and sighed whenever a new customer joined the queue despite the fact she was doing absolutely nothing to help. There were four customers in front of me and it took 25 minutes for me to get one sandwich. Avoid at all costs. Especially if you're on your lunch break!

Young girl serving very friendly & good value coffee & tea those are the positives. Negatives tables & floor littered with crumbs . Was Obvious hadn’t been swept or mopped for days. Toilet was smelly , dust on the sink , overflowing bin . This isn’t one days mess! Management obviously no pride in their business.

Went in on Sunday. Table and floor not clean. Toppings on sandwich chucked onto it. Staff unfriendly and kept asking me to repeat myself on multiple occasions unattentive, didn’t want to be there, not pleasant experience. Gave me a sugar drink even though I asked for non sugar. Refillable drink machine broken. Needs doing up abit. Bad paint. Not clean.

Order regularly for my dinner at work, great customer service when they dont have things in stock etc happy to exchange! Amy is a star for remembering my order, also another young girl who i dont know her name! Would recommend! Also the sauces dont go un noticed you little legends!

I rarely leave 1 star reviews, but on this occasion, it definitely deserves 1, but only because I can't leave 0! Not my first visit here, but it has now been my last one to this outlet for now. Called here before 1830, expecting to be able to get a toasted Subway sandwich, but no.... 'sorry can't toast anything as the toaster will be off for cleaning'.... the opening hours are until 1900..... suffice to say, I'll give another business my hard earned money. Do not advertise something you are not willing to provide! A sure fire way to lose trade, and you just have! Combined with my previous visits that have been met with 'oh, we've not got X, Y, Z so can't make that, and the empty crisp shelves, a lack of cookies and bottled drinks all add up to this being the worst Subway ever! AVOID and buy a better sandwich elsewhere.

Really dissapointed. I haven't had subway in a while so thought, why not! It was a complete mess when it arrived, the food was outside of the bread and was really soggy. My partners steak didn't smell nor taste good at all! It was very "fishy". Tried to contact the place a couple of times but no answer. Overall a terrible experience and definitely a waste of £30

Btw I am a regular, friendly staff, good atmosphere, highly recommend their specials, nice sandwiches and reasonable prices, especially the meal deals, a good visit.

Spent £28 on 2 sandwiches and they were disgusting! My partners steak sandwich smelt like fish and tasted so wrong. They were both cold, a complete mess, I couldn't believe the state. Tried to get the order fixed but was told no. Not happy

When I got my sandwich, I ordered one cheese and ham toasted. When it arrived, it was cold, no cheese, and not toasted. A bit disappointing but was still good. Please check what’s inside the orders properly and how customers want it. Thank you.

Changed there time for delivery 3 times gave us the wrong muffin said Cadbury caramel got an oreo one ordered a meal everything came apart from the drink I ordered when asking about it was just told there would be a refund within a few days only issue is its the wrong email and I can't change that either 🙄

I'd give it less than one star. Had me waiting around while the young lad flirted and played with the knife to a younger customer. Gave me half a coffee which I asked to fill up for my dad since it was a half cup. My dad went in later as it tastes disgusting and the other colleague just shouted "what's wrong with it now" to my dad despite never seeing my dad with me. Whilst waiting for the coffee after what felt like ages they got a just eat order. The other colleague said to the young lad he was too busy to help (despite store being empty) and the young lad said it doesn't matter they can wait as long as want. I would have left the store before ordering if my dad wasnt desperate for a caffeine fix as the nearest Nero were closed. Never had as bad customer service in my life. Considering the reviews I don't understand how they're still employed.

The service at this Subway is appalling. I was served by a teenager who didn’t want to be there. He was rude, difficult and generally unhelpful. Also, no gluten free bread available or some sauces. There was no apology for this, just a shrug of the shoulders. Very disappointing.

Sandwiches weren’t toasted, Crinkle wedgies were missing, hash browns were cold, nachos were cold, tango was replaced with an unrefrigerated Pepsi. Rang up store and was told nothing they could do as they were busy. Terrible food quality and service, want a full refund.

He gave us free cookies for not having meat balls. But gave us wrong Crisps wrong cookies. No sauce on the sandwiches. Just really gross and dry. Unfortunate because the guy on the phone was really kind. Just really bad food lol

Very disappointed. They need to stop hiring teenagers who really don't care about the service they give. The young person who served me was so miserable and rude. I ordered a meatball footlong and the meatballs were rock hard. They were burnt. I explained that to the staff after i had a few bits out of it and all he said was i apologies about that. I should of got a refund but it seems that for that staff member a sorry was enought for giving an horrible sandwich that i couldn't finish. That was the worst Subway I've been in my life. When i went in, the 2 young staff members were smoking cigarettes right in front of the door. The tables were dirty inside. Absolutely ridiculous.

Came in for a drink and V (assistant manager) went above & beyond & explained the rewards system to me & how to claim my rewards, very friendly and welcoming.

Went in for two sandwiches, the young guy with glasses is very rude and does not know how to talk to customers or even how to do his job. The store is disgusting and in need of a good clean. Tutted when asked to make a sandwich, which is literally his job. When asked for a foot long he asked my partner if he wanted it throwing at him. When asked for sweetcorn he said he could not add it to the sandwich for god knows what reason. Drowned the sandwich in ketchup. At this point I refused to pay for the sandwich, as it wasn’t what I wanted and the service was appalling. Will not be entering this store again. Will attach the only picture I managed to take but I promise you the rest of the place was no better and witnessed him contaminate the veg with meats.

Missing cookie and sandwich squashed it was inedible and requested refund and didn’t get one absolutely appalling.

Have only ever had 1 previous subway meal until today, and last visit was about 15 years ago. Decided to give it another go. To be honest, I wish I hadn’t. Overpriced, dirty and questionable customer service. If you like being called ‘Love’, ‘Darlin’ or ‘Boss’, then this the place for you. If you’re looking for clean toilets, then perhaps consider somewhere else. If you want value for money, then consider Tesco Meal Deal from across the road instead. Thanks for confirming the decision why I’ve avoided eating Subway in the last 15 years. No return custom from me I’m afraid. Plenty of other decent dining options on St Anne’s to choose before ever entering Subway in my opinion.

Very disappointed. Staff are pretty bad, unorganised and generally poor. Elder guy just shouts and calls all female customers "darling". Other two younger guys just cant be bothered. It was lunchtime ao obviously busy but they would all complain and say "why are more people here?". I get it but think it dont say it. Tables, were all dirty and there was no effort to clean in the 30mins or so i was there. Just poor

The service here is absolutely appalling. My teenage grandson went in to buy a wrap, when he was asked what he wanted, he was made to repeat it several times because the young man behind the counter did not care, then, when he finally heard his order, the man called my grandson a psychopath because he wanted it toasted. After that, he asked if my grandson would like it as a meal deal, trying to be polite my grandson said “yes, if that’s okay” to which the man replied “if that’s okay? I wouldn’t ask you if it wasn’t okay?” Then he went on a smoke break, and when he returned, he served a customer without washing his hands and I didn’t see him wearing gloves either. On top of this, the place was rather dirty, and the staff seemed to think so too, because they made it apparent that the place needed cleaning. Overall, appalling service and not a pleasant experience. I will not be returning.

What a absolute shock. Got 2 footling meals and ended up with 1 sub coming with no meat or cheese just veg and sauce. £15 for PICKLES OLIVES AND JALAPEÑOS ON BREAD? Seriously? Called the shop and they don’t have a clue what a joke.

I got nachos that were cold with the smallest bit of cheese and a wrap that was also freezing cold with just salad in no meat. Ridiculous worst £20 I’ve ever spent won’t ever be ordering from here again.

Smallest wrap I’ve ever had, missing cheese and salad. Not the usual subway standard. Sent chicken instead of hash browns and an Oreo muffin instead of a caramel muffin (unfortunately I don’t like Oreo’s). Disappointing, won’t be ordering again.

Some strange balding bearded man absolutely shouting at his staff and being angry towards the customers, refusing to give service and shouting you rather than asking what someone wanted. Saying he’s done making people food and they can serve themselves. Made us walk out

Just went in and was served by an older guy and a younger guy, felt really uncomfortable and like i wasnt wanted there, just felt really awkward, started with ordering my sub and i asked for wheat bread and instead of getting what i wanted he asked if i wanted honey and oat bread, which i understand is a minor convenience but it just felt like he wasnt listening, they didnt have any American cheese so instead he put the smallest amount of shredded cheese on, then when it came to putting salad on i asked for lettuce and sweetcorn and the older guy said no and then put it on, it just made me feel uncomfortable as i really didnt expect sarcasm at the counter, then the younger guy was sat on the counter and throwing paper around, the store was empty and then a schoolboy came in and asked what he could get for 5 pounds and he said to him "im not going to go through the whole menu i dont have time" i just felt really bad for the schoolboy considering there was no one else in there, i couldn't imagine the boys embarrassment, i didnt want the boy to feel like he was anything less because he didnt have enough money, because i know what it feels like to be movked for not having as much as everyone else, it was reslly sad to see so i gave him some of my own money, just felt like the staff was just messing around and rude, the place was really dirty which i really didnt expect considering that lytham is quite a high profile area, im not usually one to complain as you can see the great review i gave to subway kirkham, but the way they treated customers really didnt sit well with me, especially the way the treated school children, really not impressed.

One girl and boy obnoxiously rude. Finished her shift at 4pm and went “f**k this s*it then” in front of every customer there. Swearing and didn’t smile once during talking. Asked her multiple questions and she looked like she’d rather die than answer.

Me and my partner decided to try the local subway as we're new to the area, sadly it's ended in disaster, we ordered the Italian B.M.T to share we had cheese and toasted but something tasted strange, sweaty ham? A few hours after eating I was sick and stuck to the toilet my partner was also very ill. We will not be returning this is so disappointing as we really like subway.

Ain’t happy. Customer service was poor. Man doing the food he was really low talking and I’m like what.. what.. He was frowning a lot, and the one serving didn’t seem to care about the job at all. Poor slop on your sandwich no quality at all. Won’t be back

A really disappointing visit! It’s sad to see that the staff don’t get on. The only time they communicated was when the person in charge told the younger person to clean the tables and didn’t say please. This lack of manners was displayed in their attitude towards the sandwiches. Talk about overfilling. It meant that the bread broke apart. Also, when a person states, ‘a little bit of…’ you don’t cover the sandwich is sauce. This makes it wet, soggy and taste only of the sauce. You are left with no alternative but to wash your hand and sadly the toilet was disgusting!!! Try cleaning them occasionally otherwise you shouldn’t be open! Finally, the emergency pull cord in the toilet is there for a reason - if a disabled person needs help. It’s supposed to reach to the ground in case they fall. It has been cut up high. Does no one understand customer care, good manners or good hygiene? Maybe try a refresher course!

Myself and two friends went to this branch for a quick lunch today and had to stand and wait in a long queue. It appeared that there was only one member of staff, and the poor lad was rushed off his feet trying to serve everyone, but hats off to him he was still calm and friendly. Didn't even look like there was a Manager on hand to help. Shocking that he was having to do everything on his own!! That lad should be paid double for having to cope by himself!

Has to be the filthiest subway I have every been in. The tables were dirty hadn't had a clean in ages and the toilet was a disgrace. In the end we had our meal on the local benches outside.

Good place, but for a Subway that has tons of stuff, it had no hashbrowns. I walked from Blackpool to this Subway and all I wanted (and could afford) were hashbrowns and they didn't have any. Waste of time going there. At least it had friendly workers.

Absolutely terrible… there are two stores in St Annes and they are both as bad as each other. Lethargic, disinterested service, incapable of following instruction as they are always too busy doing ANYTHING other than making sandwiches… Cold food when it should be hot, warm when it should be cold… stale bread… I could write a book on just how rubbish it is. Such a shame too… as I LOVE Subway… just neither of the stores in the town where I live! Oh… and if you complain… and suggest you won’t return, their response is to cancel your loyalty card! NEVER AGAIN

Was going to enjoy something different hadn’t into a subway before now Ok ham and cheese can’t really go wrong with that so that was ok Next we want a salad sandwich and there it went tits up how can a chain of shops not have eggs / tomatoes Cole slaw Not a good experience at all Ate in by the window it was the only clean one , there were old bread crumbs in the windowsill Will not be going again if that’s the standard

It's a good place with nice staff. I like the tall lad that has tattoos on his arms. I think he is called Ben, he was really respectful and had a great attitude. I'll definitely recommend the place becouse of him. Good job to everyone else as well.

Typical chain restaurant/fast food staff that can’t be arsed to be there. I arrived at 20:40, they close at 21:00. I was reminded they stop serving at 20:45….. helpful. Then a young man who really didn’t want to be there took £20 off me for what was meant to be subway sandwiches. My fault really for being stupid enough to bother going there. What should I of expected really. I know they are franchises but they should be managed better.

Well done Subway. The person behind the counter dropped the knife on the floor but thought it okay to pick it up and cut my bread with it. Wanted salad but he then proceeded to put brown lettuce on my sandwich and didnt think there was anything wrong. Avoid at all costs.

It’s hard to describe how bad this place is, I ordered via just-eat from here some time ago and it was a total unmitigated disaster, I figured it may have just been their delivery ‘arm’ that wasn’t working and stopped by recently in the ‘restaurant’ and it’s… we’ll, it’s just a complete nightmare of a place, to be honest. Like the other reviews say, it’s a dirty, cold, unwelcoming place where staff appear to not know what’s going on and literally everything about it is bad. Everything. For further evidence - look up the reviews on Just-Eat as well. Subway need to shut this franchise down or get a new franchisee.

Ordered through uber eats today and when I received my order it was absolutely freezing and meatballs tasted uncooked. When I rang them they tried to say its because it wasn't 'toasted'. It was that bad both meals went straight in the bin. I would not recommend to ANYONE!

What is going on with this place? Always short staffed. ONE person on at 12 45pm? Really? Should be at least 3. Always run out of stock. No meatballs chicken tikka or tuna at 4pm? Sauces Always run out too. Such a shame as the food quality has upped its game again....

Absolutely shocking place. Decided to call in here today to grab lunch with the children before heading down to sit on the seafront. Mouldy rotting cucumbers in my salad disgusting. None of the salad items appear to be fresh and with soggy spinach and tomatoes that were slimy. Won't be visiting this subway again in a hurry as it is so disappointing. We've eaten from subways all over the country and this has to be by far the worst

I go in 2 or 3 times a week for a dheli salad.usually very good ..but I got one today box was half full took it back girl said portions are smaller now ..won't be going back.....I since decided to go back in and see the manager who was very apologetic she offered me my money back or another salad I took the salad lovely ...thanks

I went into this subway, on Monday 1/11/21. The tables was dirty and food deposits. I went to sit at a table near the window and noticed the floor had food waste and the table was sticky. I told the male staff behind the counter and he did not seem bothered I walk out of the building and lucky I had hand gel to clean my hands.

The shop was open but no customers in, most of the tables were dirty, the floor was filthy, the glass on the display fridges was filthy, the bin was overflowing and this was before lunchtime and there were no customers in. The shop was also freezing cold and the music was blaring through the speakers. Awful place, the worst Subway I’ve ever been in!

My girlfriend works as the manager and even she says it's the filthiest place she has worked and wouldn't eat from them now she works for them.

went in yesterday, (01/09/21) was served the young girls around lunch time and the service was great, they was very polite and patient with me while i was deciding what to have on my sandwich , everything looked fresh and stocked up, and they wasn’t shy with adding the salads or meets! amazing team work keep up with the good work and the friendliness! will be coming back :)

I visited on 1st September and bought two salads and they were the smallest salads in the world.I have never in my life seen a portion size so small and salad doesn’t even cost much. I paid £4+ For a salad that small was like day light robbery. The portion size was too small for my 2 year old toddler. Avoid this place if you actual want to eat anything.

Came in today for the 2nd time ive been this month. 1st time was unclean but lovely staff and served quickly and friendly. Today was different 1/09/21 2 young girls look miserable, not friendly without manners. Not offered a bag. My daughter who is 12 Watson polite saying please and thankyou and the girls was just ignorant and rude which isnot a good example. Absolutely filthy with food and wrappers all over the floor and even on the chairs and tables so deffo wouldnt sit to eat in there. Wasn't busy so no excuse really. Worst subway I've been and half the things had run out so couldn't order half of what we wanted. Will nit visit this subway again.

Unclean, wouldn't expect this with covid., overflowing bins, very grubby. Staff not interested, stayed out back chatting while tables went uncleaned. Serving food prep area had leftover food on it. It wasn't like it was busy either. Won't return, it's gone down hill. Needs a deep clean.

Very disappointing visit. Only one of our party managed to order what they wanted. There was no nacho chicken, no TLC, no seeded bread and apparently no wraps. However, as we sat outside eating, one of the staff made herself a wrap and ate it...

Ordered one 12" sandwhich and got charged for 2. nothing was in stock, making sandwiches without gloves, no receipt to check. staff incompetent and no apology from the server for getting overcharged. When i came back in to get refunded the server who made the...
