We’ve just had Fish Chips & peas and they were absolutely delicious. The haddock was awesome! Crispy batter and not a hint of grease.

I frequented this chippy since the sixties when it was balls. even, sadly through the fire, but not any more since it is become a seniors.

Have been going for years but on this occasion my husbands birthday, we were the first in and the chips looked as if they had been reheated from the night before dried up and hard, very disappointed

Bought medium fish & chips last Friday lunch time and they were very good. Went again this evening (5-10pm) ordered the same, when i got home the batter on the fish was not cooked lond enough. The fish was soggy and chips were overdone and bitty.

Pleasant staff and good food. Value for money. Many offers during the week and little or no queues. Easy parking most of the time.

Monday evening is rare to find a chip shop open yet Seniors is open and so is the restaurant side.

This is a small town fish and chips restaurant with its parking lot.

tried on different occasions over last 18mths seen various members of new staff, never busy but they refuse to listen when people tell them why. Chips are constantly warmed up from lunch time ot that have been pre fried then just thrown back in for less than a minute to warm them up, they dont taste like fresh chips, they dont cook batter long enough and by the time you unwrap grease is running off and has gone all soggy.

All the fish is cooked fresh, good sized portions, but can get very busy, so be prepared to queue for a while.

Seniors gets talked about a lot so we had to go and try it. Not disappointed - huge fish, nicely battered, and good chips.

For many years this fish and chip shop was run by a couple and was one of the best in the town. However since Seniors took over I have only visited twice and both times have been disappointing and resulted in a vow not to return - this time it's definite! I ordered large chips and the portion size was pathetic- think they need to look at what their competitors offer. Fish OK but side dishes (peas, gravy) were poor and lacked any great flavour. Back to travelling twice as far next time rather than eat from Seniors which is on my doorstep.

Called today on the off chance.Very clean,very friendly and the "Combo Fish" meal was a very affordable delight.Service was also delightful.

The best places to fine great fish and chips is by the seaside ,this shop did not let me down .piping hot well cooked chips with fresh fish cooked to perfection.nice staff with a welcome smile .all good

Nice but expensive makes it a treat rather than an everyday meal. Staff friendly and helpful and parking is ok

Two small cod and chips on a Tuesday , lunch and evening £5 . Bargain and very nice. Well done Seniors 5 quid for two nice portions of fish and chips , great chippy.

Brilliant staff, some good special offers and great food. Their batter is beautifully fine and crisp and my Mum won’t let me go anywhere else.

Good quick service in busy place. Liked choice of sizes of all products. Good quality well cooked cod and chips and liked both curry sauce options

When I got it home, which is about two minutes away in the car, the fish lay as though it had died in the box. What there was of the batter was almost translucent and the bottom was stuck to the paper. I assume this was what is euphemistically called 'light' batter. The fish itself was underdone and not very hot and I was not asked whether I wanted light batter. All in all a disappointing visit.

Went in tonight to get tea for the family and couldn't fault it! The staff were friendly and speedy and the food was great! Tried the fish and pudding with chips peas and gravy on the side all fantastic and didn't break the bank! :D

Lovely fish and chips. The haddock was chunky and I requested light batter, which was just perfect. The chips were cooked to perfection and service was friendly, attentive and a nice smile. I have eaten at all Seniors chip shops on the Fylde Coast over the years, this was my first visit to St. Davids Road and I wasn't disappointed. Highly recommended.

I went in for fish and chips with my partner and little girl last Tuesday - the food was lovely and staff really welcoming - they made an effort to ensure we had everything we needed and wanted, nothing was too much! Made a real effort to chatter away with my 1 year who would wave and shout "iya" every time someone passed. Will be returning for a meal for sure. Well priced too! Yum yum yum!

Called in last Friday 30th of June, had a long day out in Blackpool and on way home. Two young ladies running the place and they were so nice and friendly. Wife and I chose fish and chips, I had Cod she had Haddock nice to have the choice and batter perfect on both. Will definitely be going back.
