Ordered on Wigan eats, accepted order, took payment. Cancelled order, with no reason. Had to phone to find out why. They said out of there delivery radius, no mention of this on the website, else I wouldn’t of wasted my time. No apology, weren’t bothered. I literally live in the next town. Happy to spend my money somewhere else. Terrible customer service. Use a take away that appreciates your custom not this place. First time using them, great impression they’ve made. Would not recommend.

Gregg's is Gregg's but this branch is 25% more expensive than any other branch, as is the shop in petrol station. The airline £1 for 6 mins?? And it's filthy, go here if desperate! But if you can go elsewhere?

All staff that slow you are stood waiting while they think about what they are getting. Get up and go got up and gone. No personality or customer service

I was astounded at how rude and abrupt the lady who served me was today. Every time we go into this shop the staff are rude. The first couple of times I let it go as you never know what people are going through in their lives but it has just happened so many times now, it is infuriating how you are treated when you are being perfectly civil and polite. I am appalled that they get away with it when clearly from other reviews, many people have had similar experiences and nothing is done about it.

If the chippy owners read this review my advice would be stop the Just eats and Deliveroo and get back to being a decent chippy with a friendly walk in service. Used to be great but recent meal was a disappointment with greasy fish and chips. Too much variety on menu plus rammed out with large delivery orders so consequently stressed out staff, bad atmosphere and disappointing basics.

A potato and meat patie and a sausage roll both with, in my opinion, literally the smallest traces of meat. Overpriced bland in flavour, simply terrible food t a relatively high cost.

I don't often write reviews like this but like to give credit where it's due. Went in to Greggs in the Big Asda in Wigan. Only wanted a sausage roll. During the transaction I was greeted with a warm, friendly welcome and a big smile from Ryan. He answered my question about the allergens in the sausages used for the sausage rolls with patience and clarity. He also complimented my favourite sports team because of my hat bearing their logo. When delivering the sausage roll to me, he transferred it swiftly but delicately in a manner that would benefit the Team GB relay squads at the Olympics. I have written to Joanna Adams (CEO of UK Athletics) to suggest taking Ryan to Paris as a coach but part of me wants him to remain at Greggs, where he serves as an example of everything their staff should aspire to be. I left the store feeling reinvigorated in a way seldom achieved by a sausage roll purchase and would recommend anyone to try it if they ever need cheering up.

Ordered breakfast at 10.35 via the app, sat in a drive thru queue for half a hour as a lane was closed and when I gave my code I was refused my order as it had passed 11am, some kid on the window who had not a clue then tried to get me to order food I didn’t want from the menu, a complete waste of my time and petrol , I will not be returning, avoid like the plague
