Just used the Drive Thru after an exhausting night at work to cheer my morning up with a mighty Mcdonalds breakfast muffin meal. Let me be blunt, it was absolutely disgusting with no care in the world given, Full of grease, floppy undercooked hash brown, no milk or sugar in the bag for my tea or my partners coffee!! This business may be global and earn billions but as a local I can wholeheartedly tell you that unless you change your attitudes we will all never return. That makes a big enough financial dent over a few years to that Mcdonalds….”Get a GRIP” Just been into this store WOW the difference of eating in!!! Staff pleasant the food was piping hot, we had a double qtr pound cheese burger meal……..5 stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 so much better than drive thru and delivery.

food is always of a good standard but i’d say the speed is a bit of an issue, every time i go there’s a long wait and staff always appear to be strolling around with little care. last time i went people were complaining about a half an hour wait and ended up leaving without any food. as a fast food worker myself i know it’s hard but my issue is with the lack of care for the customer experience.

Not halal but i love their strawberry milkshake and fries with their special sweet and sour sauce

The food here is often cold and staff members cannot even be bothered to include BASIC requirements such as sauces and straws for my drink! The staff are lazy and talk as if they really cannot be bothered, never once have I seen any of them serve food with a smile, if anything many have an attitude problem, and the atmosphere is terrible. The restaurant is often filled with undesirables and badly behaved teenagers which make us too intimidated to even get out of our vehicle and then we have to use the slow paced drive through and put up with miserable staff with an attitude problem. Most definitely the worst McDonalds in the country!

I wanted to order 6 chicken strips and then got rid of them so I HAD to order a NEW thing. I ordered a SMALL thing that took 30 minutes to prepare while the family that ordered 2 20 Nuggets an ice latte and a mc flurry to 10 I’m furious. The food was frost like and the drink gave me the ick.there where screaming children that where throwing a variation of sauses at me. The only good thing about that meal was laylas jokes. NEVER going again

I've had multiple issues in recent times. Same problem each time whereby an order created and completed on the McD app does not effectively 'complete' resulting in an error code on the app with instructions to report to the counter with the code. Seems the issue is with the restaurant not being able to accept payments via the app. Has been ongoing for a week now and has been experienced by myself, another family member and a work colleague. Clearly something wrong but it's taking a while for them to 'fix' it. In meantime I'll be taking my business to Gower St.

A bit slow not because of a shortage of staff just because of the number of orders.

15 mins wait parked up for the simpliest double cheeseburger and mayo chicken. And cheeseburgers cold

App didn't work. Counter staff made mistakes.'fast food' took over 25 minutes to prepare and it was wrong so we had to wait longer whilst they corrected mistakes. Not impressed

Hands down, the worst McDonald's 'restaurant' I have ever experienced in the world! Food ALWAYS cold, staff are so slow and walk around like Zombies and never smile. I've seen rats around the building and the Management team fail to inform when something is out of stock, only until you've started queuing at the drive through (in my experience, ice cream), then a staff member will tell you once you've ordered that they don't have it (or rather, can't be bothered to clean it at the end of the shift) but then by that point you can't actually exit because there's cars both in front and behind (service so slow makes it not a quick exit either!) Can't really substitute ice-cream. I would happily drive that extra couple of miles to avoid this awful experience at Morris Street! Food quality and staff performance almost always filters down from Management... I'm no Alan Sugar, but new Management required I think!

I had a wonderful server I think she was called Kelsey on Friday afternoon on the window I was very satisfied with my service this was a wonderful experience and I will be coming back because the food was lovely and the service

The slowest service know to man. Over 45 minutes in the drive through to then watch three cars come by me and order before me. To top it all off they got the order wrong, zero brain cells

Lovely, competent staff, a very clean McDonald's.

It is evident that McDonald's on Morris St. is overwhelmed. My first issue arose at the drive-thru. After placing my order, I proceeded to the first window where the staff merely glanced at me through the window. While I understand she was occupied, a simple acknowledgment of my presence would have been appreciated. Assuming she wasn't addressing my order, I moved to the next window, where the staff read back multiple orders but missed mine. Upon providing my order, I was informed I hadn’t paid, which I confirmed and explained why. The staff suggested taking my card to the previous window for payment, but I declined, concerned about payment accuracy. Opting to order inside using the self-service kiosk, even that resulted in errors. I had to return to the restaurant to collect the remainder of my order they overlooked. This experience left me disappointed and questioning whether the staff require retraining or if McDonald's needs to reassess their prioritization. Additionally, I believe there's room for improvement in conducting themselves with more professionalism.

How is this place still allowed to trade. ALWAYS missing items, ALWAYS freezing cold and I have witnessed them bagging orders and leaving them on the side for in excess of 25 minutes!

Chips are always white every time you visit is it so hard leaving them to cook 5 minutes longer? would not recommend this if you're a chip fan.

Nice building but always Kaotic. Drive thru takes ages. Going inside doesn't help. Really small counter, dominated by Uber, service slips as a result. Boards showing numbers but not the ones ordered. Staff just shout out number not on the screens.

Shocking drive through. Waiting 15mins in drive through. Instead of making the driver pull over and deal with other customers they make you wait. Its not rocket science

The food was horrible all cold dry, no taste all I was feeling from food was salat en alot of onions. My drink was literally split everywhere on my living room . Make my soo angry. Never eat again McDonald’s. Not worth the money to pay for it. Mozzarella stick was cold. Don't feel cheese just bread crumb, all bad. Horrible exercise.

If I could leave 0* I would !! Went through the drive through, Pulled up to the ordering spot and though they were quick to answer they made me feel rushed. When I arrived at the window the staff member serving was a blonde lad who looked miserable and had the attitude of a dying wasp. Clearly didn’t want to be there. My fries were cold and not salted. Asked for sauces and never got them in my bag.

Really slow service. Evertime you go through the drive thru they tell you to park and wait. When ordering inside it can take a while to get served if you don't use the touch screens, parking outside on main road is full of Uber drivers parked up, can be hard to get out as narrow road.

Used the drive-through. Bought a shake & burger. There were lots of cars in the car park. Service was the same as anywhere else. I do have to admit I'm a sucker for a MacD strawberry shake! Same tasting burger as every other MacD's, warm but not hot & not cold either. Although the burgers could do with being a lot hotter than they are! Nothing exciting or special. Handy when I'm in a pinch.

Went to drive through thinking it would be quick. Nobody else around so ordered straight away. Only ordered two big Mac meals at around 12.15. Was asked to park up and await our order. When we did get our food the fries were cold.

After years of ordering from this place, finally, salted fries. This place constantly misses an item from my orders or ignores alterations to the order, for example no pickles, extra pickles, no bacon etc.

Used the drive through it was busy had to park up, but know it is a busy restaurant, food delivered to the car quickly by a wonderful young lady, how was backwards and forwards working hard even when it hailed, sorry didn't get her name (think it started with N), always had a smile.

Always a nice place to visit. Staff are all friendly inside the restaurant and through the drive through. Stairs are a nightmare though if you have a 2 year old and a tray of food . So we usually go through the drive through.

Order was wrong as the table but the lad sorted it out first time. Food was hot even though place was rammed. Deserves a review

Banana milkshake taste of nothing.

i hadnt been to a mcdonalds since i was a kid over 16 years ago or so at a drive through with my parents. i went to this one inside recently and its pretty handy. you order off a touch screen and your order comes up, i like that, it saves the awkward standing at a counter wondering what you should get and taking ages holding a que up feeling rushed and gets rid of any possible social anxiety, its a good system. and the food was done and sent out pretty fast. the food tasted good, the usual mcdonalds food and taste you expect, nothing to complain about there. will probably go again sometime.

I am OUTRAGED! This is our local Mc Donald’s, I take my order in the drive through and all it is, is a medium wrap meal with chips and a coke. I pay for the meal which was £4.99 and I got told to go into a drive through bay. I’m sat there expecting my order, 10 minutes later still nothing has come yet!!! I see a male worker handing out Mc Donald’s bags in the car park but he was walking really slow, as if he didn’t even want to do his job!!! So lazy. Eventually I went inside to see when I get my order, the manager was there saying they had a lot of orders to the side and I’ll receive mine soon. 20 minutes later I finally receive the order!!! It was clearly busy there but gosh it was so understaffed. Get more staff, or maybe less lazy staff who can actually pick up their feet??? I get home and my food is cold, my BBQ wrap only had two pieces of chicken in it, no lettuce ,mayo and all the other ingredients. I feel SCAMMED!!! I almost went back to ask for a refund. Overall awful service and food, all that wait for nothing!! I am disgusted with this place. It should be closed down if anything.

Served by kids with no manners who thought they were at a social event. No social skills or manners on the intercom. Held up whilst one member of staff chatted to the car in front and clearly knew them. Dancing in the window, obviously listening to music. Bad advertisement all round. I’m off to KFC.

Decent food, but the service is terrible, very long wait time and then got my food wrong. I understand they get very busy at times, but it appears some staff just don't look interested in what they are doing. ☹️

Food was same old McDonald cold served food

This newer McDonald's is located in a weird part of Wigan, surrounded by tower blocks and hidden in a housing estate. A two storey construction, with a lift for wheelchairs and people unable to use staircases, it's modern and clean. The staff were friendly and happy and my order was not messed up. A better than average McDonald's.

Food never turned up from uber. Manager wasn't helpful. Said basically it was ubers problem. Had an issue on uber before and the resteraunt in question sent meals out. So maccies are trying to scam people. I got no straws, no sauces, no dips to sharing boxes. Food was stone cold. Awful experience. Never again. Platt bridge is not like that. Got wait 7-10 days for a refund and my sons had no food. Ridiculous customer service. Atleast uber are honest

It took 7 people taking 13 minutes to make a black coffee. Seriously. And that was only after I chased them on it. Dine on orders have bottom priority after the drive thru and the dozens of scruffy deliveroo riders, so don’t expect quick service if dining in

Was alright but felt uncomfortable waiting in line while some teenager was getting finger blasted in the corner. This is probably just all of wigan though

My first Mcdonalds in ages and Im in nomnush to return. The Service was incredibly slowly. When I finally got the food it was cold partly because it sat on the counter while the staff had a chat between themselves. The double "big" Mac should be banned under the trades description act, it is tiny. If this is the standard of McDonald's now you can keep it. Truly rubbish.

Same old story Cannot! Cannot understand why they would put cold fries in a carton and then serve it to me. Yes, I could have complained and waited for fresh ones but then my chicken would have been cold. Quality control is obviously ignored when it comes to the food they serve!

Ordered sriracha wrap. The cucumber inside was dried so much, don't know how many days old was. Had to bin it. Wrap wasn't bad, just on the end of it I end it up with a mouthful of onions. I know mcdonalds is a fast food and expectations shouldn't be as a dining in a five star restaurant. But for what mcdonalds is charging for frozen burgers, would be nice at least the little bit of fresh food served to be fresh.

Always busy, not really clean. The tables are dirty and you have to wait a long time for the order. Something there change, before was nice and cool.

used the drive thru today and only ordered 2 x double bacon cheeseburgers, a mayo chicken and medium fries. Asked what mcflurrys have you got to the rude reply of none!!! Which i then hesitated as to see which cold drink i could get to be met with 'move to the next window'. Defo wont be going back here! also had to park up to wait for three burgers

Today i got a sweet chilly wrap and found a tomato on it, when it’s not meant to have any tomato’s on it in the first place. I was extremely upset as i have a severe allergy to fresh tomatoes and can’t stand the smell in general. Their service was okay but i don’t think i’ll be going back there because of this. I am aware that they didn’t know i had this allergy but the tomato wasn’t meant to be there anyways.
