Ince Balti in Wigan

DONT GET HOIKED IN BY THE SPECIAL OFFERS!!! Ordered chicken tika masalla and lamb bhuna, the chicken tika massala was spicey hot, I'm litterally talking madras spicey and didnt remotely look or taste like any chicken tika masala iv ever tasted. the kids took one taste and where crying there eyes out. The bhuna was revolting, I can only describe it as a fatty oily brown liquid. We basically all ate chips and rice for tea and now having to nip to the corner shop and see what I can rustle up. Should have checked google first. How can a place even be rated 3.7 with so many bad reviews.

Lo siento, pero la comida que conseguimos fue impactante, no es de extrañar que lo vendan a mitad de precio. Tenemos niños, pollo, comida tikka, entonces el pollo era como un hueso duro, ladrillos secos, horrible no recomendaría.

Soggy popadoms in a million pieces and all the food crammed into one bag.nan bread undercooked,not what i expected considering i order from here quite often.

All the food except the naans were cold. have been here many times and never had a problem before. The naga was not very spicy this time, but the Jalfrezi was super spicy which was nice.

our madras was water and spicy only. no flavour what's so ever. chips were fries and stale, cheese and garlic naan was undercooked, very doughy.

Motivos terribles, evitaría! No es de extrañar que tenga que dar 40% de descuento en un pedido de £ 10. ¿Quizás si fueras una buena persona con comida decente podrías cobrar el precio completo?

On the whole was disappointed with the food . The chicken was quite small and in my mind overcooked and dry . The sauce tasted very bland with no flavour of spice . The salad garnish to go with starter was just some limp iceberg lettuce .

Absolutely awful, both curries cold, had to microwave them! Onion badges were like Tesco's, naan was good and the lady who delivered it was lovely, shame about the bad food

Avoid, food not fresh at all plus mixed my order, zero stars. No response to calling the restaurant to complain, zero stars. AVOID!

Incredible and unbelievably quick delivery!

¡Esta fue con mucho la peor experiencia de servicio al cliente de la historia! Ordenado a través de solo comer con un tiempo de espera estimado de 40 minutos. Pasó este tiempo y solicité información de dónde estaba el pedido, luego se movió el tiempo estimado de entrega... esperamos 1 hora y 40 minutos! ! Llegó el pedido y le faltaron artículos, llamé a la tienda y hablé con un hombre que inicialmente fue muy agradable. Aconsejó que tomaría una hora adicional para conseguir los artículos que faltan para nosotros. Me pregunté por qué llevaría tanto tiempo y él respondió “es un viernes por la noche que tienes que entender”. Le expliqué que habíamos esperado mucho tiempo y que no era mi culpa que los artículos no estuvieran embalados, ya que podríamos ser compensados por el error. Inmediatamente me dijeron “¿qué quieres que haga solo tomar 2 órdenes para ordenarte?” a lo que me quedé atónito respondiendo “no es mi culpa, ¿por qué se tomó la orden si estabas demasiado ocupado?” Luego me dijeron “FU*K OFF eres muy muy grosero” y el teléfono se colocó abajo. Servicio vil, comida apenas caliente! ¡EVITA ESTE LUGAR!

I wouldn't recommend I'm afraid. Food items missing from order, poppadoms beyond soggy curry sauce watery and all over everything in the takeaway bag. Masala not mixed powdery and watery. :( sorry but not very good at all for me.

Ordered rice with the Meat Box and got chips, no sauces were with the delivery and got 2 random cans of pop not what was ordered

Cold. Rubber poppadoms. Hard naan bread. Currys and other dishes taste average. Wouldn't not pay standard prices they are restaurant/premium prices. If it wasn't for the big offers you wouldn't pay it no way. Plenty of other in Wigan far better and fairly priced.

Can't fault it arrived bang on time had a munch box was delicious loads of food ordered Nan seperate was delicious one of the best nans iv had just wish was bigger

Absolutely disgusting, felt nauseated all through,after waiting over a hour, had to call them severally to know when they will deliver, my kids hated the food, none of us could eat it as received. They need to shut this foodplace down. Food very blank, no iota of taste, wasted money. I will never ever buy from here again.

Our box was missing the salad and sauce, instead there was a massive naan bread underneath about 4lb heap of red Donner, next to another couple of pounds of lovely chips and onion bhajis. Both of the currys were incredibly delicious, namely Rogan Josh and Tikka Masala. Both very flavoursome and pleasantly fragrant. The order came in about 15 minutes, for real, that's massively impressive! Keep up the great work, I'll deffo be ordering again!

it was my mates birthday, and we ordered a secret takeaway as a surprise. we left it in the notes if they could make it a bit special. and they did. food was amazing. portions were good. and delivery driver was fab. sout out to her. would highly recommend.

Prompt delivery, piping hot & delicious food. The only thing letting it down is the chips. Slightly over cooked and a little too crispy.

watery curry, donner meat was thick and rubbery and chips were cold and rock hard definitely won't be ordering from here again

Great service as usual Only downside was getting 2 cans of pop in place of the 1.5 litre bottle that should come with the meal .

Chips Must of been cooked about 12 times they was solid, cold curry very watery!

Food come so fast, some of it wasn't even cooked and the stuff that was cooked was cold and burnt so it must have been on the side for some time. Also, when I messaged the page, they said that it takes less than 10 minutes to make a curry and that's why it took 25 mins to get to my door. I found the whole conversation concerning and was not shocked when I found out that it has a 1 star hygiene rating, as the food was the lowest standard I've ever seen.

The rice was barely half a portion, the bhaji was cold and bone dry, the curry was swimming in grease/oil. The lamb tikka meat was nice but on the chewy side and the peshwari naan bread was nice

Was cold when delivered but was so hungry we ate it but won't be ordering again. Was very disappointed as was looking forward to it

No flavour to any of the curries which was a shame when they're £12 each. Chili garlic massala only really tasted of tomato, sadly. I think theyre afraid of properly adding spices to the food and that seems to be true of many curry takeaways in Wigan. Kebab was decent even though they forgot the wings in the box. Naan breads and bhaji were nice as well as the chicken tikka. Will probably give the curries a miss but may go back for a kebab in future.

Useful little takeaway for when you get stuck halfway down (or up) the Wigan flight because you run out of daylight hours. Some unusual and interesting dishes on the menu.

Food cold, container with the main meal half full, naan barely cooked. Very gutted. Main dish has a lovely taste, but rubbish overall.

On time. Food very nice, tried chicken dhansak for the first time and was delicious.

We love Ince Balti but unfortunately this time and last time our order was wrong. We ordered one of the box meals- they didn't send rice or poppadums and I think they sent pop by accident. Because it's down as one item 'box meal' when you order it's hard to get a refund from Just Eat because only certain parts of the order are wrong. Disappointing.

I thought I would try somewhere different as there was only one of us ordering this time and not enough to meet my usual curry houses minimum order. The order arrived on time, and the delivery driver was pleasant. Chips were cold upon arrival and all stuck to the container. Curry was bland, literally tasted of nothing, even with copious amounts of salt. Very strange. I can only compare it to when eating any food with a cold/flu, and your taste buds don't seem to work. I asked for a cheese naan bread, I received a normal Naan bread with a bit of cheese on top, a bit of a joke, really and not what you receive from anywhere else when ordering the same thing. I am thoroughly disappointed, I wish I had read the reviews before ordering as they were funnily enough, strikingly similar to my review. I would not recommend, and I certainly will not be ordering from here again. I will stick to my usual, bindi of aspull.

Food from here is very bland, small portions too for the price you pay. The chicken pakora starters were 95% batter, 5% chicken so definitely not worth having. We both had rice, one was full the other had half the amount in. Only good thing I can say is delivery was fairly quick. Won't be using again.

Food was disgusting. Sauce watery, tubs less than half full, poppadoms soft, chapatis like rubber, hardly any cheese on the cheese naan. Everything went in the bin. Disgusting!! Bought as a birthday treat! Full price paid for every plate starters, mains and extras.... Will be giving it a miss in future. Would have rather waited for delivery and got fresh food not old food. :-(

Worst mixed kebab I've ever wouldn't even attempt to eat if it looked like road kill the fat was dripping from it. felt like if I had eaten it I might end up ringing an ambulance to be resuscitated with a clogged artery. Avoid £17.50 in the bin .

Delivery on time and driver was lovely but the food was not good. Luke warm and we’ve both been unwell a couple of hours later.

The food taste amazing the potion sizes are so good for the price but unfortunately my food was drowned in oil I put it on my plate and the whole bottom of my plate is covered in oil and so many soggy chips the food is banging nevertheless

The chips have been over cooked and are rack hard they were also cold, the onion bhaji were also over cooked and too hard to eat

Asked for a tarka daal and got some sort of curry sauce with a pineapple ring in it, meat box came with 3 pieces of each lamb and chicken tikka and just mainly donner meat and 2 little finger sized seekh kebabs, second time I've asked for the naan bread to be garlic and I'd pay extra for it to be just ignored, used to be such a good Indian now it's going downhill, such a shame

Got to be the worst vegetable korma ever! Frozen mixed vegetables with a few dodgy looking potoes,in sweet water,,no richness or seasoning flavour at all,,absolutely shocking

Food portions very good size. Delivery very quick but unfortunately the curries was very bland in taste not much taste to it at all and rice was just white boiled rice not pilau rice no taste ro the rice at all. Other than that it was fine though .

Food was on the whole pretty good. Bombay Potatoes appeared to be from a tin and could have done with cooking for longer. The major let down was the poppadoms weren't there, which is the one thing we do look forward to. Would certainly try here again as the discount offer made it attractive. Hopefully the next attempt will rectify the issues

I hate to complain but I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed with my meal. The curries were tastless, watered down and bland. The chapati was sent in plastic tupperware so it was soggy snd steamed to an inch of its life. The onion pilau rice was also bland with almost raw onion. The papadums were undercooked, rock hard and very oily. Bhaji were okay but rather tastless also. Ordered 5 pieces of tikka chicken, this was dull. Zero spice or seasoning in everything. I've had better microwave meals. I'm sorry to leave this review as I called them to advise them and they were nice enough and offered to remake it but honestly I just wanted a refund. I didn't eat any of my meal, even with the 30% discount I was let down. Off to make some toast as I'm starving!

Been searching for a good curry for a while and I've finally found it. You've got a new regular customer

I ordered last week a cheeky tikka box they forgot put the 4x chicken pieces in the box rang up was told they would put extra in next time.. ordered tonight and dilute me reminding them to put the tikka pieces in they only put 2 tiny pieces of chicken in! Won’t be ordering again 👎🏻 delivery driver was lovely and helpful as always
