Delicious fish and chips. Beautiful white flakes of cod and a melt in the mouth piece of rock salmon. Staff very friendly. Didn't pre-order but waiting time was minimal. I will be back. Best fish and chips in Mersea.

We decided to eat here after reading the reviews. It’s a good quick bite. But we found the burgers need more seasoning as they lacked flavour and there was too much sauce on the fries.

In Colchester I heard the coffee was great . ....... it was not. Flat White - tasted like cheap filter. Terrible. Really terrible.

Can't beat this place for value for money , the portions are massive . Staff were really friendly and it was really busy when we visited . We will be returning .

Pretty sure recently changed hands. Chips almost inedible. Suspect cheap oil and not cooed long enough. Cod ok but oil again spoilt it. Never again
