The Flag Burger in Colchester

We decided to eat here after reading the reviews. It’s a good quick bite. But we found the burgers need more seasoning as they lacked flavour and there was too much sauce on the fries.

My partner and I had the Couples Dine In deal which at £25 is sensational value for what you get (2 burgers, 2 sides and 2 desserts). I had the South Korean Burger which was one of the best chicken burgers I've ever had, the flavours in the sauces were absolutely mouthwatering. My partner had the Italian Burger and she absolutely loved that but unfortunately I didn't get to try any as she loved it so much. We had sides of Loaded Fries and Loaded Mac and Cheese which were also amazing and so filling. Even the Chocolate Brownie for dessert was really good and the raspberry sauce they included with it really complemented the flavour. Would 100% order again to either eat in or takeaway - I can't wait to go back!

We ordered a couple of burgers as take-away and sadly forgot to take photos for a review, but they were magnificent. I got 'The Japanese' burger and it has to be one of the best burgers I've eaten. (although as a disclaimer, I did order it without wasabi so I may not have got the full experience). The katsu mayo and the nori seaweed went really well with the theme and the whole thing was juicy, perfectly cooked and delicious. My husband got 'The Flag' burger, which was delicious. The actual flavours didn't particularly stand out from other burgers, but the quality was excellent. I'd recommend this place and I'd especially recommend ordering one of the uniquely flavoured burgers. I'm going to try the Korean and the Indian next!

We ordered from Colchester Eats app. The food was delivered on time. A great couples deal for £25.00. All of our food was hot and tasted great! We will recommend and order from there again.

What can I say I had the English burger.it was the best burger I’ve ever had and I’ve had some burgers lol . Loaded fries again was amazing I can’t wait to re order

Whether you're an omnivore or a vegan these are the best burgers around and the fties are outstanding too. My daughter can't get through the week without their loaded fries any more! Personally, I favour the falafel burger but there are plenty of delicious options. And delivery is possible in the local area for a fee.

I reckon i have eaten at most decent burger places in Colchester and this place, hands down, beats them all. The burgers are simply out of this world. Have tried 3 different burgers and all have been awesome. The loaded fries are a must aswell. Will be going back there on the regular.

This takeaway is incredible, I’ve had a few of these and the burgers are an absolute taste sensation, and so filling! The fries and loaded fries are so crispy and fresh and we even tried the brownie tonight. You really must try it, even if some of the specials sound a bit ‘out there’ I can honestly say give it a go, it will absolutely surprise you. The app is easy to use and delivery time was quick and covid secure. Thanks guys

Tonight was my fourth visit to The Flag Burger. Having missed the opening week special - “The Indian” I was not going to make the same mistake twice and I was not disappointed. A taste sensation!!! This should be on the menu permanently. Keep up the great work Flag crew!!👍👏😎

Been a few times recently, each time better than the last. The Indian flag burger should be a permanent fixture, as should the British. So good. Great loaded fries/mac and cheese too! Deep fried pickles are a must.

Best burger in Colchester. Little girl loved the mac and cheese. I had the special Indian burger and doubled up and it was really good. My other half enjoyed the Chinese style burger. Flavours and style for both were very unique and really good. Will definitely be coming back for more. Oh and you defo need to get the loaded fries and battered pickles!! We visited and had a takeaway for four people. All our burgers were delicious. The macaroni cheese was amazing, my sons slider was apparently way, way better than a McDonald’s and all made by hand, with care and it shows! You’ve never had a burger- until you’ve had one from the flag!

Great burgers had 4 different weekly specials over the past few weeks every time excellent high quality ingredients, mac and cheese and loaded fries are lovely best burgers around by far!
