Sorry to say that the food wasn’t up to the usual high standards, the fish batter was really soggy rather than the usual crispy and the chips were very small, not one longer than an inch and a half.

What can I say we ordered the food 18:10 arrive at 20:10 colder as been cooked an hour early.On top of that wrong food. Considering if I ever gonna order from them again. I know what they’re gonna say is the delivery company yeah we all know that story. Then change the delivery company I’ll make your own deliveries if you wanna keep the regular customers.

I normally give Oh My Cod 5 stars, but this order they ignored my order notes, and so the salad was uneatable. The fish however was excellent.

My order was actually over 50 minutes later than I had requested for. When it did arrive it was nice and hot and still tasted as good as it normally does.

ended up having to go and re order as was not delivered to our house . Owner did not have a problem with this.

Food wasnt very warm. But its cold outside and was delivered by bike so maybe thats why. Food was good, just cold. Would be good if there was option for them to add salt and vinegar to cheesy chips.

Ordered and waited an hour and no delivery driver was assigned. I went to the shop myself and collected my order. Was not provided with an apology and no refund for the inconvenience. Food was bad.

1st of all driver didn't say he was on route to me, then as for food it was not even warm. salad was warm too and last was a very small portion of chicken doner. not happy

Unfortunately the chips were very dry and the fish (Rock) was more batter than fish and soggy in places.

the chips were ok, warm but looked over done, the wrap could of done with more chicken and sauce. an over all 7/10

Dare say the food was good. Though didn’t get an opportunity as accidentally ordered via Justeat as collection, though meant to have delivered. Within seconds I tried to rectify though was told you can’t change order. So if it it takes seconds to ignore a legitimate order I would suggest they honestly don’t give a f##k about a household that has used Oh My COD for over 10 years. Such a shame

kids meal had more chips in than the large chips. and battered mushrooms looked like they were battered on a night out not in a fryer

I happily do a 12 mile round trip to get my fish and chips from here, because it's that good! Staff are always happy and friendly, and the food is top class.

Order never arrived. Contact number doesn't work. No idea what's happened but no option to cancel as it's saying it's arrived now. It's 2 hours 20 minutes since the order. Absolute joke. Won't be ordering again from here

The batter on the fish wasn't cooked, it was all soft and sticky.

Delivery time changed 5 times! Ordered at 5.09pm arrived at 7.19pm. Arrived cold! OH MY COD was my favourite F&C restaurant. Never again!

Only complaint is the Stamp card discount was ignored. Lovely bit of fish and chips tho. Xx

Driver sent me a message, informing me he had left my food somewhere and for me to find it.

We love OMC, always use them for chippy or kebab. Usually we collect but delivery was good. Chips are always super tasty and all food cooked perfectly

Apart from being late, 2nd order running, the food was fine and hot.

We ordered through just eat. It said it would be with us at 1.30 then 2 then 2.30 then 3 then 3.30. It’s just not good enough.

I live in Mersea I would rather travel and buy from oh my cod As The Portions of chips are double to what I Get living on the island. The food is always fresh staff always friendly and they are not stingy

Order was made 16:32 and delivered at 1807 food was cold all of it like it been sitting for a while always order of these but this time it was shocking no number to contact them ver disappointing to be honest

delivery person was great and very friendly, but get fed up with the app. tells you a delivery time but every time you check to see how things are going the time has risen by 5 minutes, so why give a delivery time if your not going to stick to it

Excellent food delivered quickly

There must have been an error with the mapping as our dinner went to the other side of town and sat in one place on the map for 15 mins or more. I made a complaint. The driver then turned up but map still showed him as being a long way away. He was very upset when I told him I’d complained because he’d brought the food straight from the restaurant, which was proved when I opened it. Also I have tried to rescind my complaint as this driver had been here before and is a nice person. So sorry

start that again quality of the food was brilliant. I had to go down the road as the time was getting later or later a driver wasn’t available and when there was one available by that time I picked it up myself the driver should not be getting the money for this delivery as he did not deliver it, I have the money back on the delivery please.

The food was excellent as always but it was just a bit annoying that my order arrived so late considering I'd asked for the delivery to be one hour from when I ordered it. I would still order from Oh My Cod.

Ordered online then 40 minutes after the order was accepted received a message to say the order had been cancelled with no explanation, now have to wait a few days for refund to come through, if you can't fulfill the order them don't accept it !!!!!!

Can't beat this place for value for money , the portions are massive . Staff were really friendly and it was really busy when we visited . We will be returning .

I ordered at 5.14pm & it said estimated delivery 6.05-6.15pm.But it didn't arrive,I tried to call the restaurant but number listed doesn't work?. Tried calling just eat but message told me customers can't call?.8.15pm food delivered!.

Dont think they read my notes on my actual order as I requested certain things for a reason which was annoying and then I didn’t enjoy my food as much.

Fresh fish, always cooked to order and chips taste nice. Fish & chips are served in boxes and they have a really nice curry sauce. The large portion of fish is very generous. I always get my fish & chips from here.

Always collected in person here, never a bad experience. Lovely, lovely staff and always treated well. Food has always been great, hot and delicious.

Very disappointed, chips were great .. but .... battered sausage was not fresh and rubbery and my £10 cod had so much batter that although the fish was cooked the batter was inedible and raw inside ...

Delivery stated 18 37 delivered 18.40 perhaps i should just give one star.

Really enjoyed my order, batter was really crisp! Delivered just within the delivery window given, not bad for a Friday evening.

Food was great & very tasty. It was delivered early, which was a surprise & we were out, but all OK.

I take it they microwave the peas, or not in my case. Stone cold. Won't be ordering again.
