best kebab I have had in ages..the sauce was great..delivered hot..nice freshly cooked..great value for money..delivered on time

Changed my mind on takeaways! The quality of the food was brilliant The chicken wasn’t fatty, the kebab meat wasn’t gristly, the flavours were just perfect! My partner scoffed his food so quick I didn’t even get to taste his but he said it was beautiful! Cheesy chips were lush! (Maybe a little more cheese but I’m a cheese obsessed lol) but the right amount for the normal person to order! The chicken/donner mix kebab could of had a little bit more chicken in but here it’s quality over quantity! Over all we’re really impressed! Will be returning!

LATE. TOOK OVER TWO HOURS TO ARRIVE. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. KEPT HANGING UP. Rung a few times to chase. Got fobbed off. Kept hanging up. Granted my partner was getting angry, but I was calm and collected but they were very muggy and hung up, again!

Very bad quality, rude, lazy, dirty, we have ordered and took very long time in arriving, the chips were bad quality also they sent what they want not even giving us a refund. They always get very rude when female call and complain, or they hung up. This business should close, for the price they charge better order from nandos.

Ordered 3 kebabs, not much sauce, and the chargrill marks on the chicken were really burnt which did affect the taste unfortunately. No jalepenos on the small amount of salad. Maybe they were having an off day.

I ordered one kebab and a milkshake at 18:15, the latest delivery time was 19:25, I only just got a text saying it was on its way a couple of mins after this, I then waited a further 20 mins with still no food. I rang them to ask where it was and they barely let me say a word before asking where I live and told me it won’t be long and it’s late because of traffic and things. This was now nearly 8pm at night and was only meant to be a short journey which when I checked on google maps had no traffic. I therefore decided to try and call back to complain as this was not good enough, I tried multiple times and they didn’t pick up any of my calls despite it ringing. I finally got my food 1hr 45 mins later on a Thursday evening. I will not be ordering from them again purely due to the way they dealt with this.

Their back door is wide open and you can see raw meat kept in a cardboard box on the floor. The staff are rude and will try to over-charge you. I'm a local that lives less than a minutes walk from them and I (along with all the other locals) refuse to use them. Anyone who uses the takeaway gets unwell. The worst is that they will try to overcharge you on your order. Rude, unfriendly staff who serve unsafe food. The manager is argumentative and will shout at customers.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the "owner" and staff, I waited an extra 3 hours for my food than was told when I called to ask I had the phone put down on me 4 times, I asked to speak to the manager or owner 3 of those times and was told I was not allowed to. I finally got through to the owner at which point he told me to "F**k off" repeatedly and was shouted at. Do not order from this place unless you feel like being messed about and insulted

Burnt chicken, very salty salad, cold chips. Very disappointed, this fast food is a theft and it should be closed or fined.

Ordered a kebab & some chips. Told it would take 40 mins. It was finally delivered nearly 3 hours later & stone cold. I’m glad because it saved me from eating it. It stank & looked like roadkill. Not for me. Never again

Ordered takeout from here a few times. Very hit and miss but recently our food has been delivered over 30 minutes late, the driver doesn’t apologise just says ‘not my problem’ and a forced apology from the guy on the phone. Stone cold food, no offer of refund or replacement. Terrible with customer service, need so much improvement!

We have tried pizza from many takeaways in Colchester, but this has now become our go to. Large pizza collected for £9 is great value!

Doner Meat a Chips was just a grease fest the chips which lie underneath where inedible because of the grease and oil dripping from them. The Chicken Shish kebab was burnt to a crisp it was like charcoal in pitta. The Margarita Pizza was a tasteless, bland tomato less, grease slick that’s my pizza loving son wouldn’t even eat. So forget be careful if ordering, and good luck.

There is one thing you should not take your chances with and that is chicken. I ate the chicken fillet burger half way through when I noticed the ridiculous extent on how pink (even purple) it was. RAW! This is unacceptable. PLEASE check if the chicken is cooked before you serve it to people. I am now left scared because I ate half of it and angry because this should have never happened. Money in the bin - AVOID.

Found this restaurant on Just Eat and have used them several times since. I opt for delivery for convenience. I have never been disappointed, food is always good, piping hot and delivery is prompt and always sooner than expected. Staff are always friendly. Highly recommended.

Ordered a take away from grill bros for 6 people. It came quicker than expected and was a great value for money. The food was good especially the cheese nachos

No tengo ninguna queja, era muy tarde y me apetecía un bocadillo tarde. Llegó 20 minutos temprano, lo que es el sueño de todo el mundo. El batido era encantador; el pastel era absolutamente delicioso. Lo único que se me ocurre es que el queso a mi chips de queso no era completamente derretida, pero eso no es gran cosa. :)

The platter was significantly smaller than previous orders & 1/3 less chips. Was already cooling by the time it arrived. Also none of the advertised dips were delivered. Edible but far below the standard I'd have expected from them. Disappointed.

The cheesy steak cut chips are by far the best chips you can buy in Colchester! The lamb burger was great, warm, no hard or nasty bits, full of flavour but my onion rings where missing though. I had the brioche bun which was a welcomed change. The cookies where still warm and gooey in the middle and the milkshake was still cold and thick. Best takeaway we have had In a long time and will be our regular takeaway for sure from now on. Thank you.

Food was terrible, chips and onion rings undercooked and soggy and the burger was pink when I took a bite of it. Delivery was very slow, driver asked for directions and I gave them clearly but he ended up somewhere completely different. I threw most of it away, complete waste of money. Shameful quality!

Usually this place does the best cheesy chips but tonight the chips resembled cardboard and were cold so couldn't melt the cheese.. pretty gross really. But the delivery was nice and quick.

Teniendo en cuenta que habíamos pasado un considerable 20 libras en la comida para llevar, que era sólo para dos personas que estaba optimista. A la llegada se hizo evidente que había una escapara del pudín en todas las otras cajas debido al limón y hierbas pollo deshuesada siendo ahogados en su contenedor en el pudín. También goteaba de pudín de la bolsa sobre la alfombra. La ensalada parecía vieja y floja y además estaba climatizada por el resto de las casillas. Carne donna era correoso y sosa. Patatas fritas duras. No pedir cualquier ensalada y terminamos con dos ensaladas y no deseados en el Kebab ensalada. Pedí un Dr Pepper y una coca-cola y terminamos con dos de Pepsi. conductor de entrega era agradable, lo cual era la única parte de la comida para llevar que disfruté! Sin duda no será pedir de nuevo y no se lo recomendaría a nadie.

first time ordering from here - we had lamb ribs, lamb chops, piri chicken, double burger, chips and lamb samosas and i can honestly say this is the one of the best takeaways ive had from around here - the lamb chops had good amount of meat on and very full in flavour, the piri chicken was very nice and just shredded apart - the delivery man was very nice and apologised about the bag being wet - really satisfied with the food and service will order again

The doner meat was hard and the east london style doesnt include a few pieces of onions and peppers. It is fried with onions tomatoes and coriander. The kofte kebabs were just meat...no spices no flavour. I would not order again.

Took forever to come but it was early and barely anywhere else was open so that was expected. The falafel wrap waa nice, but a little dry. Not as good as Roosters. Cheesy chips were so cheesy they made life worth living.

Food would be better if wrapped up in paper. As my order was not very hot being in an open paper bag only in polythene packaging. Which was a shame as I did not really each much of the meal :(

First time ordering with you for delivery tonight! Thought I'd take a chance on a different takeaway in Colchester! And I'm sorry to say but this will be my last! Chips where undercooked! The paper had stuck to chips underneath! They did have cheese on but that doesn't mean I want to eat soggy paper!! The chicken wings where full of grease and had no flavour! Chicken burger was over cooked! And the mixed salad looked like it been cut up and put together by a child! ( no care / & no dressing ) I'm not one to moan / complain! But I wasn't impressed at all! Dont waste your money 💰 Disappointed big time!! 😔

Deliver was over 30 minutes late, so we had to wait almost two hours for our meal. All food was so hot that even the simplest hamburger was not edible to my kid. First and unfortunately last order from this place.

The food was around half an hour later than the desired delivery date. The quality of the food was awful and some was burnt and made the majority of the food inedible. Definitely will not be using this place again.

Whilst the burgers were tasty, the salad fresh and the chips excellent, both of us requested no cheese in our burgers and unfortunately we both had cheese in our burgers. This was very disappointing and will probably mean that we do not buy from this restaurant again.

Forgot my drink, and ignored me for the first 5 mins of me standing there then still had to wait another 5mins which took it up to 35mins after i ordered. Food was ok but the ribs only half decent amount of meat on them

La única palabra que puede resumir mi orden es "deprimente". Pedí un especial parrillada mixta 1 y fue bastante horrible. Pedí un menú que fue entregado a través de mi puerta. Las fotos se veía bonito y en la presentación de el flyer era profesional. Cuando recibí mi pedido no me impresionó en absoluto. Recibí una bandeja de hojalata de carne marrón, aunque utilizado el término "carne" a la ligera. Las únicas cosas que pude averiguar que estaba comiendo eran las alas de pollo. Todo lo demás era grasos, mal sazonada grissle. Las patatas fritas eran insípidas y la caja era simplemente un desperdicio ensalada. Como para el pan naan, que estaban secos y un poco duras, pero el sabor no era demasiado malo. No pedir de nuevo aquí. Prefiero comer gato diarrea directo desde el origen.

Possibly one of the worst takeaways i have used. It firstly took almost 2 hours to have our food delivered. The kebab was burnt and tasted like rubber while the chicken wings had pink meat.

Order came exactly as we wanted and delivery was shorter than expected. Burgers were excellent but chips were a bit soggy and disappointing.

Cheesy chips were wrapped in greaseproof paper and takeaway didn't follow delivery note specifically asking for "JUST ONLY LETTUCE AND MAYONNAISE WITH THE HOT PERI PERI CHICKEN BURGER"

I ordered a chicken wrap with no salad and it came no surprise 90% salad. I get to my strawberry smoothie and it looked like foamy water and it tasted as bad as it sounds and then there is the fries that were incredibly undercooked, considering that serivce when they were 30 mins late on a delivery with cold food handed to me, and also didnt follow instructions gave to them so they dont wake everyone in my house, just ring the doorbell and woke everyone up. awful takeaway dont order from here.

I don't even want to think about what we ordered tasted like eating dry curry powder. So greasy and tough.

Although they didn't have 2 items I ordered they refunded me as paid on card and we're very apologetic and polite about it. Will be ordering again as food was great!

The tower pounder burger is without question, the biggest and the best burger in Colchester. The jerk chicken, or jerk chicken wings are also very tasty. Haven't had a bad meal from this place.

They did not provide the offer that was on the Just eat web site. We then had to chase them when food still hadn't arrived after 1 hour. When the food arrived after 1 hour and 30 minutes it wasn't very good quality.

Really good but delivery got set back by 30 minutes and arrived 15 minutes after that. So left waiting a long time. Apart from that all good

Great as usual except that the chicken wings had cooled enough for the sauce to solidify slightly so they weren't particularly nice. They forgot to send dessert but brought it to me around 20 minutes later with a bottle of drink by way of an apology.

Milkshake was vile. Was all watery down the bottom and then just this nasty thick, dry foam on top. Definitely didn't taste like reeses either. Food was fine. Could have been quite nice if the meat in the burger hadn't been so dry and tasteless. That was from their 'gourmet' burger range too.

Surprised how many poor reviews this place is getting at the moment, all each to their own and individual opinions I guess. I've never had issues here personally and the food today was fresh and on time. Good chicken and a decent burger, better quality than what a lot of places serve up.
