The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Fast food food

We actually had our fish and chips delivered by this branch of Seniors Fish & Chips and were very disappointed by the chips. A couple of weeks ago, Seniors sent out an email shot to its customers explaining that they were now using a different variety of potato which would mean that, in future, the chips would be pale in colour but would be equal to those that customers would previously have experienced.. it is true that the chips were indeed very pale, but they were also limp and flabby and not particularly hot. The fish that we ordered - haddock for me and cod for my husband - were absolutely fine, but the chips were a total let down and we are not inclined to order them again, which means, of course, that we won’t be ordering any fish either. This is a pity because we have enjoyed both eating in and receiving home deliveries from Seniors for around 20 years, but we will be looking elsewhere in the future for our fish and chip fix.

would like to cook chicken like this, tastes lovely, chips good to with peri salt. we got wings to which were really nice, need to get recipes from Nando's.

Absolutely terrible. On arrival we noticed how the hot counter was filled with food, all looking like they’d been cooked hours ago and yet we were the only customers in the shop at approximately 2pm. We decided to order 1x fish & chips and 1x sausage and chips. The chips were very pale in colour, so soggy that they were stuck together, warmish and clearly had been sitting there for quite a while. The sausage was nearly inedible, our daughter complained that it was very hard to chew and this again had clearly been cooked a while prior to our visit as it was dry. The fish was ok once it had been removed from the thick and soggy inside batter. Can honestly say it’s the worst chippy I’ve ever been to. We gave them the benefit of the doubt when we could see the chips being put in the tray but honestly, we should have cancelled our order and gone somewhere else. Don’t waste your money.

Haddock was a good size and fried perfectly. Good chip portion, again fried well, without surplus oil. Chose to eat in. Pleasant and efficient service. No hesitation to recommend and will definitely visit again.

It was ok. But for the price I was expecting more. Small portions, and just expensive for what we got. Fish was fairly fresh, and the chips wasn’t bad

We are good customers but Cold delivery pizza Asked for a replacement they did deliver. Poor customer service Not good bad experience customer service terrible I took a temperature of our tepid Luke warm pizza! Would make us ill if we ate it!

Today we had fish and chips for 28 tenants at our lunch club in Ardrigh fold glengormley.. Food delivered on time and was absolutely beautiful.. Everyone enjoyed their lunch 😋😋 so thank you to all the staff even the delivery drivers at captains table.. Sandra scheme coordinator

Visited with my son for lunch and was not impressed at all. We were asked to sit down whilst tables were cleared by the manager although there were at least 5 empty tables that were ready. After a while we decided to sit at a table for two and none of the waitresses or manager approached us to ask what we wanted to order. We then asked if we could go for the Buffett to which the manager said “yeah”! We asked for drinks and the manager pointed us in the direction of the drinks machine! The pizza was lukewarm, very chewy and tasteless and the various salad creams were not labelled and area around them were messy. I would not visit this restaurant again and customer service is zero so not recommended.

So sad. This used to be a great fish and chip shop but now (new management ?) the batter is soggy, the fish not white and poor quality, the prices have gone up. This was definitely our last visit.

Ate twice from here during a recent family stay in Penclawdd. We had a young baby so having a takeaway walking distance from our air bnb was a godsend. Menu isn’t extensive ( no kebabs ) but what they do , they do very well. Service quick and portions very generous. Fish and chips, cheese rissoles and mince beef pie all highly recommended.

ordered from there for the first and last time, placed a order for large chips, fish in batter and onion rings placed the order via just eat, arrived on time, nice and hot, opened the fish it looked amazing, nice golden brown, tasted a little bland, no real taste too it, but I really enjoyed it, however wish I could say that same for the rest of the meal, chips overcooked on the verge of being burnt, and the onion rings where soggy and dripping with greece so much so I just threw them out, onion rings are supposed too be crispy not fill your mouth with greece, the photos they have on the just eat website makes their chips look loverly, but from what I received my granddaughter could have cooked them better portion size of the chips was supposed too be large, I had what I would consider a medium at best and thats being generous. this order cost me £18+ with the delivery, just eat charge and bag charge

Changed massively! Four Hygiene dropped too 3! What a shame but it’s time to move on! From 3 times per week to none. I’d go elsewhere if I was you

Waited an hour and a half for a deliver placed at 17:30. Food arrived luke warm & no drinks delivered. Kids meal includes a drink but no replacement delivered. Delivery driver didn’t care as he wasn’t given drinks by the store. Ring the store to be told they’ve run out of drinks and 50p can be refunded via card ‘if I’d like?’ Where is the courteousness of just supplying another drink as replacement as that was the order? Or, why not ring the customer to ask for an alternative as you don’t have what has been ordered? Not great service or a great way to retain customers if you cannot fulfil orders correctly

Look, none of us want to be back in the office. I know this means you are busy, & serving the coffees is not much fun, but any chance there could be a little less gloom in the room? Lunchtime is also busy, but if I wanted someone stroppy shouting numbers at me I'd go to McDonald's. The food is great but please please can everyone cheer up a bit. This isn't a one off - other regulars I see just smile and make jokes at the lack of customer service.
