The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Fast food food

One of the best chippy’s in Liverpool, As a regular I’m actually ashamed I haven’t given them a review until now. 5 stars!

Segunda visita a esta tienda de pescado y patatas fritas y la comida fue sin duda una mejora desde mi primera experiencia. El eglefino y el bacalao era increíble, las patatas fritas eran muy agradables también, no grasosa en comparación con otros lugares. También tenía un pastel de pescado que era muy sabroso. Gracias propietario de Sea Salt por tomar en cuenta mis comentarios anteriores.

Ordered a chicken fillet burger meal, (£5) chicken was wet as if it has been fattened up with water, you need to have a word with whoever supplies you the chicken, never had something like this before, chips were not cooked all the way through, tasted a bit raw, the shop is very old needs updating looks like something out of the 90s. Got to keep up with the times, price is the only thing that is fair but I guess you get what you pay for.

Can’t understand how this place has 4.9 stars. Reading the reviews and something doesn’t seem right with them. Guy behind counter was so engrossed in his phone he didn’t even know we’d walked in and were stood for two mins staring at him. Burger was basic with no toppings just cheese and ‘smash sauce’ which was an incredibly peppery steak type sauce but way too peppery. Chips were ok. The meal deal pictures all show an irn bru as the drink but we were given Pepsi max. Asked for an irn bru and was made out we were being done a favour for giving us it as it normally comes with Pepsi ‘because it’s cheaper’.

We were visiting our daughter and new grandchild in Stroud, and had never used Simpsons before !! With 3 vegetarians in the family and one fish lover, we have been missing a trick ! Absolutely brilliant fish and chips. Proper beautiful white cod, perfectly cooked in excellent batter and some of the best chips we have ever had !! As for the vegetarians the options are excellent , from lovely battered halloumi , to Tofu and even “Frickles”, which I learned were deep fried battered strips of pickle !!! The gravy, curry sauce and mushy peas are all vegetarian as well !! Absolutely brilliant, food , excellent customer service and just really nice people !! P.S : If you are reading this, try putting deep fried mushrooms on the menu !! We used to have these as a big bag in Bourton-on-the-Water …….I’m sure you won’t regret it !!! Well done Simpsons !!

Al llegar el exterior se veía increíble súper acogedor y divertido. Cuando llegué me preguntó si podía tener una pila de masa de galletas con salsa de chocolate blanco. Me dijeron que no pueden hacerlo, ya que no está en el menú. Así que tuve una pila más amable. Que es pila de masa de galletas con salsa de chocolate blanco Y SALSA DE CHOCOLATE CON LECHE. Así podría haber tenido lo que quería después de todo. Sin embargo solo fui a buscar un asiento en una tienda completamente vacía, lo que estaba muy maltrecho y bastante sucio. Pintura pelando de paredes, mesas rayadas a madera desnuda, zanjas pelando y ventanas sucias. Y un gerente que no dejó caer la red de pelo en su cabeza. Y parecía feliz con su actitud grosera y contundente hacia su personal y clientes. El postre estuvo bien. Si hubiera sido lo que quería lo que no veo por qué no podía tener esto, habría valorado mejor este lugar. En general solo decepcionado. No volveré a visitarte. Como hay mucha competencia en Leeds por algo más limpio y en un ambiente mucho mejor.

Excellent food. Best Kebabs in Preston (maybe even LANCASHIRE) hands down. Friendly staff, decent prices and large portions. What more can you want.

Very good chippy. The batter was crispy and very nice flavour. 3 sizes of deliciously fresh fish to choose from and top quality mushy peas and curry sauce (An extra shout-out for the peas and curry!) We don't have any chippies as good as this where we live - More's the pity! (Shame about the (very friendly) owner's football allegiances, but you can't have everything!)

Hemos estado esperando más de dos horas y no parece ser capaz de cancelar la orden. No pidas a Slap and Pickle. Terrible servicio

Just wanted a quick snack . Had baguette meal deal with fries. Very tasty , fries were nice and crunchy and was value for money .Staff friendly and helpful. Also the premises are clean and tidy.

What a disappointment. The chips were clearly recooked from the lunch time batch. No where to complain other than taking them back, but we just had to bin 60% of it. Salad was stale, nuggets and chips burnt. Awful

Absolutely disgusting!!! Chips are brown and solid. Fish batter is too thick, fried to oblivion on the outside, gloopy on the inside with the fish shrivelled up, dry and brown. You can’t see them pack it up and they sellotape the boxes. So didn’t check until home. This is the worst food I’ve ever seen from a takeaway. Kids and husband very disappointed. Avoid!!!

Happy new year food is always superb been a regular for a while just don't understand why there's a service charge when paying cash 🤔
