Micks Hut in Preston

Popped into here when i was at the train station. Was recommended by someone at the station. Was brilliant tasty food. Definitely recommend if you're going past!

Excellent food. Best Kebabs in Preston (maybe even LANCASHIRE) hands down. Friendly staff, decent prices and large portions. What more can you want.

Had the worse food from here this evening. Delivered food with heaps of chilli sauce and we asked for garlic sauce. They've aid they would come back to bring the correct food but waited over an hour and still no food? We use Micks Hut all the time and never complain but we spent £40 tonight and when phoned to discuss why it was late the guy on the phone was really rude and he insisted we asked for chilli sauce. We wanted to speak to a manager and he said ring back Monday morning but will just not order any more nor will we recommend them to anyone else. Disgusted by the guys attitude after all the money we have spent here but never again 😡😡😡

OMG!!!!!!! Visited Preston last night which was the first time in many years. Asked a Preston friend if he could recommend a kebab shop and thank heavens he said Micks Hut. Situated is a good place by Preston Train Station. I honestly think its the best kebab i have ever eaten. Nice friendly helpful staff. The kebab is served on a naan bread which is so fresh and soft. Be warned the kebabs are huge as the naan is the size of a pizza. You have to go!!!!!!! I had a donor and my friend a chicken kebab. Wonderful. Even the chips are great as well.

Wow what can I say i stay in Preston and every time I do I always get a Mick's hut . The best kebabs I've ever had the mix chicken kebabs are the best . AMAZING

My wife and I have stayed in Preston many times and always have a curry in our hotel without fail. This was the first time we've been to Mick's. The England game was on and we expected everywhere to be busy, but we phoned in our order and were furnished with a prawn dhansak, two naans, pops 'n' dips within 15 minutes. Awesome danny was madras strength, dips were vibrant and pops were crisp and fresh. Beware though: Naans are massive!. We ordered two where one would suffice. Great service. Great experience. England won!.Fab evening. A.

Went down for a kebab and curry. Staff were very accommodating and helpful in showing us what's best to order and my god we loved it. Peshwari naan to die for. If you've never tired it, trust me....you'll get hooked onto it. Cant wait for my next visit !

When we stay in Preston we always get a Micks Hut . Just had our first visit in 18 months. You did not disappoint . Great value. Special kebabs are a must . Pizzas amazing. Just wish I had room for a curry . Hope to return soon

I was a valued customer with much online support and business over the years. A dreadful customer service experience has left us exceptionally disappointed and we will not be using them again. Cocky staff and bad advertising on deals. They have unnecessarily lost very good custom.

This place has been my go to Kebab place for a while. On Saturday last they surpassed previous ones. Lots of it, well cooked, delivered hot and promptly with an epic garlic mayonnaise. Keep it up.

Had a delivery from here this evening. Stated 45 mins for delivery, 1 hour 20 mins later it arrived. Which wasn't a issue, as I know they get busy. However quite a few items were missing and the chips and naan were cold! Rang up, for the man to state you ain't getting a refund. So what do you wanna do??? He re-sent some of the missing items back out, whereby the curries were stone cold by this point, as I said to him they would. His response to that was, warm them up that's what we do!! I shall never order from here again. Awful service from them this evening, and I have ordered from them on several occasions.

Micks Hut always great food and value for money, Tandoori Mixed main meal is a mini banquet and delicious as ever, samosas meat and veg are crispy and neat. This is still the best value takaway in Preston after 30 years and there's no need to order on those silly apps either Friendly delivery staff and always piping hot Can't wait to order again..

Absolutely delicious nice size kebabs too. I will be ordering from here from now on. My sister recommended Mick’s Hut to me and i’m so glad i tried it !

Ordered calazone pizza.. curry ...and a mixed starter for a family night takeout.....Wow... Fantastic food . Plentiful and tastefull... have ordered many times before and never disappoints unlike some other local takeaways..... still the best in Preston !

Mick's Special £7.90. the single best kebab I've ever eaten. Only went in because I happened to be passing and was a little worse for wear, but it was really, really exceptionally good. I would post a photo but I ate it.

Tried kebabs from different places around the North west but nowhere comes even an inch close to these guys. Their chicken tikka is just on another level!

I always get a special mixed kebab and it is absolutely mouth watering. It is easily the best kebab you are going to get in Preston hands down. The kebab meat is top quality and the tandoori chicken is lush. Every two weeks we have to have it. Their curries are also top notch. Service is quick and deliver to tarleton is amazing. We always tip as well as they never let us down.

I’ve been going here for 20 years but am not very tech savvy so have never got round to offering feedback. Definitely the best kebabs I’ve ever had.....so look forward to my trips back home up north twice each month so I can treat myself with some supper from Micks, thanks fellas !

Rang at about 20:15, no delivery until 22:05, told would be an hour from putting order in. Not a great apology, I know it’s not the delivery mans fault but they should prepare him and get him to apologise, meal was cold and unappetising

We tried Micks Hut for kebab, pizza and garlic bread. The size of the kebab was massive, tasted fantastic, garlic bread really good. Definitely recommend it

myself and my family have been going to micks hut for years, I had my first ever takeaway curry when I was 13/14 and it was from micks hut my dad works near the shop he brought it home and I loved it then, I am 36 now, and my partner and I just had our usual and as always really enjoyed it. I have tried lots of other curry places and restaurants but I never enjoy it like I do from micks hut. thank you micks hut for many good meals

Just called in as I had 15 min for my train/bus. Great/fast service. Homemade nannbread quality salad. Quality donner meat but it was cut paper thin. Wot a shame

My husband comes here every week and gets a doner kebab, it’s his favourite place to get a kebab and he is particularly fussy about them! Last week he got his usual and I thought I’d get a pizza with garlic sauce on, although they forgot to put the sauce on, I wasn’t too fussed as the flavours off the pizza was good enough without, it was very nice!

Food served quick everyone happy with their kebabs and chips etc. Seems very reasonably priced and good service. Will visit again.

I've been passed here many times and the smell of BBQ chicken is awesome 1st visit at weekend and yes I had the chicken kebab wrapped in naan bread salad as Good as it gets and you get loads too with a curry as well deffo be back

Just enjoyed a great takeaway from these guys. Speedy delivery and the food was really good as usual. Mixed kebab and cheesy chips spot on. Delivery guy was pleasant too always great service

Fuimos ha sido un kebab muchas veces y ha sido agradable. Lo siento no puedo aceptar personal con camisetas y pantalones vaqueros destartalado, con larga barba que sirve comida. No es aceptable en absoluto. Nadie aceptaría en cualquier restaurante decente o casa de huéspedes básica o aceptar semejante vestimenta hotel y francamente poco higiénico apariencia. Me fui. Mi segunda vez pidiendo después de 2 horas de espera pedimos demasiado cowley road preston. Mi gran kebab donner era simplemente carne ni pan. No pidas a veces ocupado sólo he aprendido que enviar pedidos demasiado menor cuando hay mucha gente. comprada Mierda fría y mal y tarde. El conductor dijo que recoge en 3 lugares para que me digan que pequeños detalles. Estoy tan molesto pero la arruinó mi noche de perros más gorda

Hemos estado yendo a hut escarnece por un tiempo ahora. La comida es estupenda y abundante. Hemos tenido rollos (Kebab de pollo pollo envuelto en un nan con ensalada y una salsa puede tener la salsa separada si quieres). Hemos tenido rollos donna kebab. La carne 4. samosas Hamburguesa y patatas fritas. Las pizzas y diferentes currys. También puedes tener una bandeja del pollo tikka cada cosa es buena y el personal muy limpio establecimiento es amable y educado. Si nunca han estado. Es imprescindible probar

Micks Hut es fantástica, yo y mi visita del equipo al menos una vez a la semana, el personal es amable, la comida es perfecto lo recomiendo

Me encanta este lugar, siempre a tiempo, comida estupenda y muy amable 😆 siempre me dan las pizzas con patatas y latas de coca-cola, que siempre apareció caliente y fresco y muy sabroso! Lo recomiendo altamente.

Micks Hut... I've been a customer since day one of this little Gem...It's friday night gone midnight and we fancy a supper in bed...of course "Micks Hut" ordered around 12.40am and our food is with us approx 30mins later, piping hot and just as scrummy as ever....Kebabs served with plenty of meat, I ordered shish/chicken mix and garlic bread with cheese...Nomm Nomm yum.....I highly recommend for curry lovers the "Mixed Grill Curry main meal" fantastic value and gut busting, you won't be hungry any more after that feast....that is unless you need a gastric band....Absolutely "Micks hut has my 5 star vote as in the 20years I have been a customer I have always had Top Banana service, Not just great food but delivery service fast and friendly, great to be able to order a cracking munch after midnight....Long Live Micks Hut...mwahh x

not quite as big as they used to be, but the donner kebabs are excellent. real chippy chips too - which is good. decent pizzas. chilli sauce could do to be hotter.

Placed an order for delivery, came quite quickly, garlic bread with cheese was tasteless, ordered a keema naan, no keema to be seen, kebab greasy and chips half burnt half raw, won't be wasting my money again as it certainly wasn't cheap

The pizzas here are the best!!! Brilliant value for money, always hot and on time and the flavour is delicious. I can honestly say they are the best pizzas ever. I wouldn't order from anywhere else.

We regularly order takeaway from here while were on a night shift.Food is always hot and I delivered in good time. I don't usually have anything but decided on this occasion to try a cheeseburger. It was standard takeaway cheeseburger that probably would've tasted better had I been drunk. It was ok. Lots of people order the kebabs. if you get a large one they are absolutely huge -definitely enough for two people to share. We order that much we always get free cans of pop.

We've been customers of Mick's Hut for the last 10 years. Simply the best takeaway curry we've ever had. King prawn Rogan Josh is absolutely delicious and the naan breads are massive!If you go for a kebab, be warned, they are absolutely enormous, but great for big appetites!Delivery service is great, staff are friendly and courteous.Definitely recommend.

Always come here for a chicken kebab, good pice and you get a lot for your money, good extensive menu but I've never tried the rest. Always busy when you go in so thats a good sign. Friendly staff and well priced.

In for a late-night feed to soak up the ale. Pizza was excellent but chips weren't so has to be an average score. Handily placed if you're staying at the Premier Inn on Fox St.

You just have to try it. I have seen other reviews saying horrible kebabs are the best in the north west, they don't come anywhere near the excellence of micks hut. Very big, filling and every time I've been over the years it's been top.

I asked for a chicken pizza, I can not stress enough how much I hate tikka, entire pizza tastes like vomit Wish I had never ordered, please be aware and ask if you to have a problem with added flavorings

Without doubt the best chicken kebab in Preston. Generous portion size on large naan bread with fast service. I often travel from other side of Preston just to get them.

Ordered 2 kebabs, one mixed and one Donner with lettuce only. Donner kebab turned up with lettuce, cabbage, cucumber, onions and tomato. Mixed kebab was meant to have lettuce and lots of fresh green chillies - turned up with no chillies. Rang them to explain that the order was incorrect and if they could send out a new order for the Donner kebab as my wife is allergic to onions. Also asked if they could send out a small tub with fresh green chillies which they refused to do even though I stated that I wanted lots of green chillies. His excuse was that they only put a small handful on as people complain that it is normally too spicy and that next time I order I must specify that I want lots of chillies - Hmm...I did!! So, I was offered a fresh Donner kebab but would have to wait 45 minutes as delivery driver was extremely busy even though it was a Sunday night at 10pm. Customer service was a complete joke and they obviously don't understand "the customer is always right" ethics of a business. I asked for a refund as I didn't appreciate the way they were handling this easy to rectify situation, and funny enough - the so called busy driver was here in 5 minutes to collect the order. Will not be using again as they don't deserve my business and I will just stick to the takeaways who actually care about their customers which in Preston seems to be hard to find. If anyone knows of a good place to get a kebab, I would welcome their responses.

Where do I start? I've been eating from mick hut since before I can remember that long they know my voice when I start making my order. Under the influence or not there pizzas kebabs and curries are the best around.

Bloody brilliant as always! They always get my order right and on time, love it and packed in dominoes ages ago because micks hut are waaay better and waaay cheaper!

This used to be a cracking little takeaway but in my opinion it is starting to go downhill.We have stopped ordering there now due to the last couple of orders not being up to there once good standard.Shame really as we used to really enjoy the massive Kebabs.

Shocking service, got a very spicy kebab and got told that is the normal chicken what comes with the kebab. Very disappointed!!!

I have called in for a takeaway and had home delivery for myself and my girlfriend and for other friends on all sorts of meals, over the years.There are 3, what I call Kebab establishments within 30 yards of each other, but this is easily my favourite, having tried all 3. Apart from kebabs, all serve pizzas, curries, burgers and other grills.My last order, 1 week ago, for myself was for a special mixed kebab, with salad and sauces, wrapped in a freshly cooked thin naan. I would suggest that 95% of people could not eat it all as 1 meal. I cut it in half and still could not eat the entire amont. The remainder did not go to waste. Another meal, I regularly order, that is also enormous but not expensive, is the Tandoori mixed grill with an enormous thick naan and a whole carton of a very good spicy sauce, this is easily enough for 2 people, but you have to cut it up a bit, is that a problem?.
