Called in for fish and chips x2 plus curry sauce. What can I say. It was absoloutly delicious. Fish was fresh and sooo tasty. The chips were amazing and the curry sauce was spot on. Coming from Grimsby that's saying a lot! Weve got some excellent chippys in our town but this one is at the top! Well done to the young lad who runs it. Whenever we're up that way again we'll certainley be calling in.

Absoultly amazed that there are so many positive reviews for this fish and chip shop. The fish and batter was drenched in oil. The chips were pale and tasteless. So very disappointed.

I am 73 and not had fish and chips has good as these for 50 years,crispy fish and chips and a very meaty fish. You can sit outside if you have had a drink in the pub next door.

Amazing chippie in such a lovely town. The man that served us was so welcoming and recommended upcoming events in Grassington. The women who was working was also very kind and welcoming. They are a credit to the shop and the food was 10/10! Definitely will be coming back!

Everything was cooked fresh while we were there got a very fussy hubby with fish he loved it chips was brilliant cooked to perfection not greasy and staff was very polite and patient

This is a real gem of a fish and chip shop in the heart of The Yorkshire Dales. Fish is 10/10 skinned and boned, cooked fresh and to perfection. Chips are perfection too. Coming from Hull (the home of fish and chips) I don’t hand out such accolades for fish n chip shops so readily but eat here and you’re in for a real treat.

Very average, and overpriced, food seemed to be re heated. Given that all fish and chip shops are having to increase prices, quality should be a priority.

Lovely lady behind the counter ...so friendly. Sadly the fish n chips were poor. The batter on the fish had very little crunch and was soggy. The chips were clearly made from low quality spuds - too many eyes, black bits for us. We wondered if the food had been warmed up from earlier? The shop should be rammed ...only cheap place past 6pm for a cheapish meal ...it wasnt. Need to sprt the basic batter mix out, buy decent spuds ...sooo sorry to write this. The lady was canny

Perfect in every way. Living locally I’ve been here a fair few times. As usual… Crisp batter, juicy fish, perfect peas (Yorkshire caviar). The best chips obviously cooked in nice clean fat. Oh! and the portion sizes are bang on. Friendly vibe too, although busy they always make time to chat to customers. Top nosh on a Friday night.

Having not long moved to Grassington, we were keen to patronise the local eateries. We weren’t disappointed; we’ve only eaten fish and chips from here a few times but on each occasion we’ve been greeted with efficient service and a warm welcome. The staff are lovely.

Looking for something for tea and really apart from the local pubs everywhere else was closed. As it was a lovely sunny evening we decided we would rather sit out and headed for the fish and chip shop The 2 people serving were extremely helpful and cheerful and everything was cooked fresh. Can’t fault their service at all. Nice and tasty and just what we wanted sitting in the village square eating our freshly cooked fish and chips in the sunshine

A popular chippy in the small village of Grassington. The fish is made to order, so you might have to wait a while. My chips were straight from the fryer but to me it was only average.

We have just visited this little fish and chip shop as we are staying in a local camp site and this one came up on Google search - although it was very busy we didn’t have to wait very long and everything was cooked fresh and was delicious, that curry sauce was beaut! the staff were very friendly and pleasant, we will be returning before we leave the area - thank you for a lovely chippy tea, and at a great price too! we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had fish and chips from here for the first time. At home we use Wetherby Whaler and we thought these were equally as nice. They were cooked to order, had crispy batter and the fish was lovely and white. We would definitely recommend and will return next time we’re in Grassington. Lovely staff too.

This was our first visit to this handy chip shop in the centre of Grassington. Although the fish was fried to order it was let down by very greasy batter. The chips were greasy too. We visited on a Saturday and the staff were all very friendly but for the price we won’t be returning. Sorry.

Lovely fish and chips made to order, I have to say it really was a tasty treat, lovely crispy batter with nice fresh chips, I had a medium portion of peas however I wish I had gone for the large. Thank you will be calling again.

Worst fish and chips we’ve had in a long time. Soggy partially cooked batter and drowning in grease. Grey dry fish. Threw them away. Maybe we called at the wrong time but won’t go again. And before the owner retaliates- this is valuable customer feedback....
